  1. I'm pretty sure you can Force Quake both doors from that spot, making it pretty tough to cap without dealing with said player.
  2. Damage is too over valued, Healing and Tanks are too under valued. Time to kill is way too low, contradicting what BioWare had originally planned for PvP and Ranked Warzones have only magnified the issues. No amount of heals, taunts and guards and stop the amount of damage that some of these classes can put out together. Trauma, expertise/stat values and class balance all needs to be looked at before moving forward, in order to return to the long tactical battles that BioWare had originally planned for PvP. The one thing this game had going for it at max level in the beginning was it's PvP was balanced and pretty entertaining, yet every patch seems to make it worse. I'm loosing faith here.
  3. The PvP experience has been trending downward for a while now. If I was playing this game exclusively for it's PvP, then IDK if I'd still be around.
  4. Daily PvP quest should give you a free box, along with both types of Comms. Or maybe a choice if that is too generous, I've never seen what is in the box.
  5. War Hero Augmented gear I got prior to 1.3 won't accept 22 rank augments. Hot fix please.
  6. The other day i was in a Double Premade vs Premade with good pugs match, and if Ranked is going to be anything like this then I want no part of it. No amount of healing can keep up with the amount of damage a organized team of very geared and very good players can put out. It isn't fun when you spend more time on speeder than on the ground. They nerfed healers(Except Scoundrels) in changes while buffing some DPS in damage, and then nerfed healers again in the expertise changes, while also buffing DPS. Now there is a bit of a disparity, which should of been looked at a WHILE ago as it contradicts one of the design plans going in: Low TTK for drawn out tactical battles.
  7. Reasons why i still play: 1. My friends/guild. 2. PvE experience is trending upwards. 3. PvP is fun. 4. It's Star Wars. 5. It's BioWare. Reasons why i would quit right now: 1. Developers seem out of touch with their own game. 2. PvP experience and balance is trending downward. 3. PvE Content is slim at best. 4. Being a Republic player in a Empire game. 5. It's EA.
  8. As a Republic player, I used to not think the Empire was favored, and then i got my Operative to the Imperial Fleet. That is just not fair.
  9. http://dulfy.net/2012/03/15/swtor-overall-advanced-class-distribution/ Most: Sorcs Least: Scoundrels
  10. It's a start, but not solving the real problem that the expertise change and subsequent change in TTK caused: Damage is significantly more overvalued than healers and tanks.
  11. Of the 5 classes I've played to 50(Vanguard, Sage, Sent, Guard, Gunslinger) nothing compares in complexity or learning curve to Gunslinger, I've never played a class in any MMO like it. PS: Who created the myth that Sents are hard to play? I face roll so much when raiding as Watchman.
  12. As a Republic player I feel bad for myself...does that count?
  13. It isn't one-shotting someone if it takes 5-6 globals. Posts like these are how I know this thread is full of people who don't know what they are talking about. Sages before 1.2 had sub par burst at best. With a Project proc crit, crit TK Wave and both your dots rolling and a adrenal you were lucky to do 6k against another Sage. Nothing compared to what Gunslingers, Scoundrels, Guards, Sents, Shadows and derp course Vanguards were doing at the time. What i don't understand is how somewhere between before 1.2, where there weren't any complaints about AVs aside from the occasional 'homeless person screaming in the park' thread, after the nerf to their burst in 1.2 and the subsequent patches that offered no buffs or changes of any kind, they got so OP that it was outrageous.
  14. I for one will be outraged if they make us pay, literally, for their mistakes.
  15. http://i.imgur.com/H3wcL.jpg /hands trolls a loaded gun. Lol, but seriously, Assault Vanguards are a very strong class, but I don't think they are strong enough to constitute the nerf people are suggesting. They have more than enough weaknesses to make up for the amount of damage they can put out. They are like a A tier character in a Fighting Game, a great class but not S material. Unfortunately since empirical evidence supports that BioWare nerfs by popular demand, I'm guessing they will take a hit to make everyone feel warm and cuddly.
  16. In that post you quote i said "One DPS Class" as in one of out all the DPS classes. Of course healers can heal better, THEY ARE HEALERS. Sentinels do INSANE damage, I have played 4 classes in 50 PvP(DPS Sage, DPS Vanguard, Guardian, Sentinel) and I have never been able to rip a person to shreds as fast as I can as a Sentinel. Throw that in with the fact that I also have more tools to survive than any other class I've played and you get unbalance. Glass Cannon is a balanced concept, Diamond Cannon is not. And yeah, other classes have the abilities I listed, but they also dont have unstoppable damage and unflappable cool downs with them. And seriously, Leg Slash and two gap closers...if you have problems staying In then we have nothing more to discuss. I already explained the healing thing up there so let's continue on from there. I don't equate them to a stealth class, I said they have a stealth, that just behaves differently from traditional stealth in good and bad ways. As a fresh 50 i out dps'd Rakata geared Gunslingers and Commandos, and solo'd/embarrassed War Hero's while in recruit gear, because of their insane damage and cool downs, your "proof" that they aren't the "best" will not persuade me otherwise. I do have a 50 Sentinel, and I only ever said that Watchman was over powered. I never said anything was spam-able...and everything else you say I can only describe as "decorated idiocy." I mean 9/11...really... Before 1.2 they were all forced to play Watchman... they had to buff every other spec BECAUSE OF THAT. Apparently clicking off a buff is a little over your skill cap.
  17. Passive 2% heal for every dot crit, Zen adds another 1% and makes them auto-crit to make it three, and heal their party for a additional 1%. That is 3% for 6 charges, 18% over 6 seconds. With Defensive Forms and Valor, two mandatory talents, I can easily stack 30 centering in around 20-30 seconds of combat. 18% heal over 6 seconds every 20 seconds or so is INCREDIBLE. That and Valorous Call gives you instant 30 Centering to use it, which can increase the frequency. Troopers have a 15% heal over 10 seconds with a 180 second cooldown, to put some perspective on it. You cannot equate a DPS classes' self heals to a actual healing class that is specced into healing's heals, that fact that you are comparing them is laughable. That and a Watchman Sentinel with only 20-40k healing is obviously doing it wrong, I've seen and DONE 100k very easily and often, much than i could on my DPS Sage, a class that actually has cast-able heals. And this healing is going on WHILE THEY DO DAMAGE, and it INCREASES their damage. And yes, it is a 4 second stealth, 6 second talented, but it also increases your movement speed by 30%, 50% if talented. You can cover a very large distance in that time, and I can't tell you the amount of times I've stealthed past people to cap a door or other objectives. The fact of the matter is that it makes you invisible and un-targetable to everyone else, and can be used in the middle of combat and won't break early from damage, things that traditional stealth can't do. It makes you invisible, it's a stealth, It has some advantages over conditional stealth and some disadvantages but it is a REMARKABLE tool non-the-less.
  18. You must know nothing about Watchman Sentinels because Watchman gets incredible self healing and everything else is base-line.
  19. One DPS class cannot have the best single target damage, best on-demand survive-ability and best self healing. Oh and don't forget a stealth, AoE mezz, Interrupt, healing debuff and two very powerful group buffs in Inspiration and Transcendence. Watchman was OP before 1.2, it only took the expertise changes and one buff to Master Strike to make it more apparent.
  20. I have a level 50 Sentinel. Believe me when I say that Watchman was OP before 1.2, the Expertise changes and the Master Strike buff just made it more apparent. One DPS class cannot have the best single target damage, on-demand survive-ability and self healing. Oh and don't forget a stealth, AoE mezz, Interrupt, healing debuff and two very powerful group buffs in Inspiration and Transcendence. They are also the melee class that is least susceptible to kiting. If you cannot see how OP they are you are either; in denial, want them to OP or are just straight trolling.
  21. You are forgetting a Sage's one true ability: The ability to die faster than any other class.
  22. Yeah bro. Those level level 1-9 Agents are ruining everything!
  23. Female body types go like Statutory ****, Perfect 10, That Chick(?) at the Gym, Soccer Mom. That being said, all body type 2.
  24. JK Darkside choices are just "how much of a dick do i want to be" there is often no real reason to make a dark side decision except for the sake of being evil. I've done JK, Trooper and Consular to completion and Smuggler up too Alderaan. The pure scope and epic-ness of the JK story gets it first just because it really is KoTOR 3, despite how predictable it is and how it offers little to no plot twists. Smuggler has a unique story and experience, with great dialogue and nice planet quest lines. Trooper had fantastic dark/light side choices and had one of my favorite Act 1s, it got slow in Act 2, but got better again in Act 3. And of course the Consular is by far the worst of all. Terrible Act 1, Boring Act 2, and Slow Act 3. The companions are bland and uninteresting and conform to strict stereotypes with the exception of Tharan. It is clear that BioWare was trying to fit the consular into a seeker of knowledge and diplomat except they forgot to add int he knowledge seeking and diplomacy part. The only mystical Jedi nonsense you encounter is the Noetikons which lasts all of 3 quests and their idea of diplomacy is to put you on a ship and obey a bunch of whinny and neurotic prima donna's unending demands while they constantly critic and demean you throughout your adventures. There is a twist or two a long the way to keep you awake but aside from that there is little to keep you interested. Being dark side is awkward and stupid and being light side is completely dull and predictable. There is little to no redeeming qualities to anything and I would not recommend rolling one unless you really want a Shadow or Sage. Jedi Knight > Smuggler > Trooper >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Consular.

That hood just has so many ugly texture issues it should just be removed. Currently waiting for my Synthweaver to crit...
