Basically, I'm planning not to renew my sub, which would make me a preffered player. Is it true, that F2P's are NOT getting quest rewards ? How does doing dailies look if you are a F2P ? Could someone elaborate on that ?

There are none. Simply because they did a terrible job, and everyone sees it. It is called a Hickman effect.

I feel for you guys. Bioware NEVER cares about MINORITIES so I wouldn't keep my hopes up. They completely ignore very serious issues if they affect only a small number of people. You know, you're second grade customers for them. Not to mention the lies they feed us all the time. After poking around for long enough you get an answer hoping that you will just p*** off. It's funny how he never mentions about what game he used to work on. Probably because they are all dead. Not to mention he said they will NOT sell purple gear in the cash shop. That dude has zero credibility, just like pretty much the whole Bioware. James Ohlen, Daniel Ericsson, they all fed us BS too.

It is about the simple fact, that Bioware is making mistake after mistake after mistake. The negativity does not come from out of nowhere. Sure it's the internet, but the amount of bad or simply terrible decisions that Bioware is making with this game is astounding. Guess what ? I wanted two of my friends to try SWTOR, but as soon as they took a look at the F2P vs Preferred vs Sub comparison chart, they just said "screw that, I'm not even going to download this crap". And don't even get me started about the bugs.

Mistake, after mistake, after mistake... Can't you guys do anything right ? Seems that your reports about what the players are saying simply go nowhere or are being ignored. The sheer amount of negativity on torums should let your superiors know that they fail at pretty much every major decision they make.

No they are not. I feel the same way they do. Also, it's a great show overall, I've been watching it for a year now, and I highly recommend it to every SWTOR player. I'm very glad they mentioned the Jeff Hickman quote. He said, there won't be any purple gear in the cash shop. Now we all know how it turned out. Why are they doing this ? Are they not concerned with the fact that they have ZERO CREDIBILITY now ? Remember how James Ohlen lied about the performance issues when it first surfaced ? The famous "it's only 5% and they have low end rigs" quote ? What about Daniel Ericsson when he lied about the sub numbers, saying there is no decline ? A month later EA releases a quarterly report and proves him a liar ? Oh... he does not work at Bioware anymore. Very, very sad.

There is a slight difference between something that WAS working before, and now is not, a.k.a a rather serious BUG, crippling rather high end rigs and a discussion as to which content / additions to the game should be prioritized.

Add that to a rather HUGE list of things they promised to deliver yet failed. Also, that would be the most useless thing to spend resources on, given how simplistic those romances really are. It's like a couple of voiced over lines and a couple of emails. And that's it. Simply, it's not worth their time.

World PvP is impossible because of the shoddy Hero engine the game is using. According to Jeff Hickman they are working on fixing the "ridicilously heavy systems" that are preventing the game from rendering any reasonable and playable framerates when there are many people on screen. Until that happens, there will be no open world pvp. Personally, seeing how incompetent their "client optimization team" is, I wouldn't hold my breath. SWTOR's iteration of Hero engine is pretty much FUBAR'd.

The reason for subscribing ? SIX quickbars of course!

Event and gear is NOT new content.

Is this a surprise to anyone ? Bioware is notorius for NOT keeping like 80% of their promises. Where is the Season 1 of ranked Warzones ? Hood toggle ? Chat bubbles ? Just to name a few. But... but... but... the last time I checked, in Bioware's world layoffs = more content and faster updates. Seriously, that was their spin on layoffs.

I surely hope they will fix AMD Crossfire issues by then. Hell, 6 months wouldn't be nearly enough time for it.

It's a freaking game. It is SUPPOSED to be fun, quick, nice accesible, etc. Whoever uses the words WORK or HARDCORE when talking about gaming is doing it wrong.

That's great! Oh wait, they completely broke multi-GPU support, and overall the game performance has decreased. But we have new (still crappy looking) shadows!

ALL I want from patch 1.7 is to finally fix the AMD Crossfire support.

That's their whole plan. SWTOR has the most obstructive F2P model on the market (excluding LOTRO).

ONLY if someone decides to actually sell them.
