    This seemed to pop at a rare rate some time ago...but now I haven't seen it in quite a long time. Did something change in a patch? It was rare before but it would pop now and again but now it seems to have fallen off the face of the virtual world.
  2. LOL are you saying you are making an income off of this? As far as I know making money off of youtube is not limited to or bear that requisite of playing PvP in an MMO. Also aren't the South Korean stars playing StarCraft?

  4. So it's overwhelming proof...but it is in your humble opinion (imho)? Is it factual proof? or opinion? I'm confused.
  5. Rubat crystal has a good republic component they win most of the time. It is an RP server though so I don't know if "hardcore" types roll there.since it is PvE rule set. Still though republic tends to win most times (at least in the 10-49).
  6. even if you lose it is still the fastest easiest way to make credits.... I am a bad player AND a sniper and I get my *** kicked all the time..but I stay and I get credits at the end..if I cue up a few WZs I can make more money, even if I lose, in that span of time than any other avenue in the game. You still get something even if you get your *** kicked, why leave? Are you that proud? This is a leisure pursuit.
  7. yeah even if you lose you still get something out of it...comms, credits a little bit of valor. You don't walk away empty handed.
  8. Interesting to see what non-snipers think of snipers in this forum. I think they need work..I play one, I'm by no means a good player I am as casual as they come but I have played a lot of MMOs in my younger days. I tend to look at the opinions of players playing against snipers as more interesting than those of snipers themselves because the latter is often skewed a little to far to the right or left. Hearing from sniper's enemies that snipers are not considered much of a threat or as ineffectual is very telling and maybe BW ought to take notice.
  9. Ops are now the most devastating class in the game..before they were just really really OP now they are mega OP. Get yourselves lubed up for what is coming at the hands of the Ops.
  10. The whole thing is moot...you will wreck the cover mechanic even worse than it is if you remove autoface... Circle strafe to pop a sniper out of cover..no need to cast a thing. They'll have to revamp cover....
  11. I have been knocked back with entrench up...only has happened once..so I dunno if it was a bug or what. Worth sending a ticket in I guess
  12. as far as I know a sniper can't pivot in cover without popping himself out of cover...so this deal won't fly. You have to give snipers something to allow them to counter bunny hopping and stay in cover.
  13. The damage doesn't scale real well as players progress defensively...the "big money" attack ambush really can't be used in PvP because of the heavy cast time. It really can't be compared to a channeled ability either because the damage is not delivered until the end of the cast unlike other channeled abilities where if somehow counteracted mid way would still deliver 50% damage. Whereas if someone simply steps out of LOS during an ambush cast they save themselves any damage at all.

  15. Posted this in another thread from my (sniper) perspective: 1. Cover is a hindrance with little benefit to outweigh how much of an obstacle it is. 2. Long cast times and restrictive cover mechanic required on biggest attacks, the damage dealt is in no way commensurate with the hassle to set up said attacks. 3. What little benefit cover provides is conical so a side step and an attack negates it 4. long cast times allow attackees to simply run out of range when the tell tale giant ambush symbol appears on them. Or they can simply step behind a wall and save themselves any damage at all. 5. Sniper damage does not scale well against player defensive progression 6. While snipers may say they have little trouble staying alive (though snipers are easy to kill) it is very very easy to negate a sniper's attacks and render his offensive measures much less effective. 7. Range is similar to pistol wielding players... I'm sure there is more. Though I have said before I like playing an underpowered class...so I'm cool with it. Add to it I am not a hyper competitive PvPer...I leave a WZ with comms and credits every time..so not complaining. Also I got knocked back yesterday while in cover with entrench up...don't know how but I guess the "no knockback" thing is not real reliable.

I like my classes hardmode though so it's okay.
