  1. Just wanted to check back in and see if anyone knew of a fix for an issue that causes the program to freeze and fail to launch if anything other than DiskArenaCache and LocalApp is selected. I have 12 gigs of RAM.
  2. I think there's a natural ebb and flow as far as faction effectiveness. There is no one republic guild that I see that gives me that sense of "insta win". And there is really only one Imp guild that I see that I don't want to face, but they don't fully seem on the up and up anyways. I think it's a decent balance right now, IMHO.
  3. Dude, lol. If you have an education, you would realize that Star Wars isn't real either. /signed
  4. 11.04.2008 on my original account, but I recreated it with a gmail account on 12.01.2008
  5. Here's your answer http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=6780819&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+swtortracker+%28SWTOR+Dev+Tracker%29#edit6780819
  6. Does anyone know if they fixed the bug that would cause some of the pvp relics to put each other on CD?
  7. bump, because I'm still hoping someone can help me figure out a solution.
  8. Yeah. I downloaded the program directly from that site yesterday. I was reading through the forums though and it appears that I am not the only one having the problem. I assume I'm just doing something wrong, just not sure what it is.
  9. I have a question. I downloaded and installed yesterday. When I try and launch "unleashed" the program freezes on me. This only occurs when I have files from the window in the settings pane. When I have only the disk cache arena and the few others outside of the file pane selected it works fine. But once I select "dynamic" or 'FX" or anyone of the files manually, it will not respond. I have 12 gigs of ram and I have installed everything that you required. Do you have any advice for me?
  10. /signed That would add a whole other level of awesome to legacy.
  11. What I meant was, are they justifying the Valiant Armor as such because all of the creation stuff was altered from the original.
  12. Results are in, you receive a 3/10. The previous post was better, so I expected a response of higher quality. Unfortunately all I got was a wordier "I'm rubber and you're glue" retort. Try and bring your "A" game next time.
  13. Apparently your intellectual prowess allowed you to miss the reference. But i'll forgive you since I seemed to be engaged in a battle of wits against and unarmed opponent.
  14. So it's weird if someone creates a family friendly environment in their guild? You do realize that when you join a guild, you are joining them, not the other way around. It's like someone applying for a job doing data entry and then getting mad because they hate computers. If you don't like the environment created by a certain guild, go join another. There is nothing wrong or inappropriate about a guild discouraging profanity. I cuss like a sailor, but my get does not want profanity used while on mumble. So guess what, I try like hell not to cuss.
  15. Are all of the other character creation armors identical or are they altered as well?
  16. My problem is not that they are giving the expansion away for free. It's sound business. My problem is that they are giving away cartel coins to those who have purchased the xpac in the past month. Had they decided to say, "Hey, to all our loyal fans whom have purchased the xpac, as a token of our appreciation, we are granting all of you 1050 CC's, thank you for being a loyal part of the Bioware family". That would have been a great gesture and would have made many of their players that much happier. And we all know that a happy player base = a growing player base.
  17. I'm not confused. The post just came off a bit judgmental is all. You painted with pretty broad brush, which you corrected in the follow up.
  18. I'm in. It would be awesome if a Double XP weekend was tied to it. It could be a cool way for Bioware to "donate" to the cause. Regardless, playing vids and helping kids, sounds like a good time.
  19. 3. There are those of us who are in a guild because we wish to have a consistent raid group and we want a ranked pvp team. Oh, and to address number 2, there's a saying....I think it talks about a pot and a kettle.
  20. Too much power for your guild structure. Maybe their officers are all founders of the guild and therefore they all share equal gkick power. Even if they're not founders, if that's the way the guild structure is set up, then fine. That's why you have a guild with it's own guidelines that are different.
  21. Most of the time, the people that come to the forums to post do so out of anger. There are also quite a bit of entitled players who feel that their concern should be top priority and the massive company that is EA/Bioware should cater to their every need. This game is awesome. And yes it has it's flaws, as does every game, but overall this game is a blast and only getting better. Always remember, DON'T FEED THE TROLLS.
  22. I was hoping they would have come for DragonCon, but hey, better late than never
  23. Bump. Hopefully this has not been forgotten. Saber effects are a great feature.
