Great Website, highly recommended for RPers

When I was at the Cantina Tour in NYC, I asked if that was possible, and I was told that it would be relatively easy for them to allow LIGHTSABER wielding classes to use different types of lightsabers. It isn't a stat thing, its all graphical and animations. The thing that they said was most difficult (which surprised me a lot) was that the Blaster wielding classes would be hardest for them to change due to the animations. Lot of technical talk regarding animations and graphics that I didn't really understand honestly. I thought it would be as easy as give Mercs Assault Cannons and Commando's Blaster rifles. I didn't get to much further into detail with them, but basically the reason they haven't already done this is due to the animation issues with the blaster wielding classes. I'm sure there are other things involved, but the actual stats and damage output were never mentioned when they described why it isn't done, or being considered at this time.

This is a very cool idea. I like it alot. This could also be a way for RPers to finally get a "Biography" attached to their character. It really has potential with all of the things listed. I wish the Devs would consider this seriously. I don't think it would be to difficult to create or taxing on clients/servers.

I'm still hoping Chat Bubbles come out before the year is over. If not, early next year would be nice too!

I agree with a lot of these ideas. 1. More Ranks would be great, especially for larger Guilds. 2. A Guild Member Log would be amazingly helpful! Its very difficult for larger guilds to see who left and who joined without some sort of outside help (Like a Guild Website) currently. 3. Larger MOTD would also be great, but at the same time some sort of Guild HQ/Ship (Or without a HQ/Ship) with a Board where info can be passed to those who read it would also be excellent. 4. Guild Alliances would be a cool idea, but so would Guild Enemies, with the ability to PvP each other sort of like on a PvP server, no matter the faction. I would love one of those.

There isn't one on the Official Forums that I am aware of. There may be on at swtor-rp.com though. I'd suggest you try your hand at making one and see how it goes

OR It means that the issues Chat Bubbles were causing were super difficult to fix, and of course they have a whole game to run, more content to make, and other stuff to do too. Probably they have to get off work at some point as well. As Chat Bubbles are not a major feature that will gain them lots of money, they probably worked/work on them at their own pace and will release them once they are happy with the state of them. That's just my thoughts though. I don't think they are horrible programmers or what have you. Just busy as hell.

Dev's know we want them. They *DID* Cause lag in the previous version they implemented. The same lag as nameplates (Which were fixed). I'll let the quotes speak for themselves though. So I would say not to discount ANY popular species from never making it in the game. I would vote in ALL the polls though, because they told me they watch those polls for Species to see which are actually the most popular.

No problem! They know we want them, and they are working on making the whole Chat Bubble system better than it was in Beta. Including fixing all the lag it created. I hope to see them soon, and from the answer they gave me (Can't quite recall the exact words) it sounds like we won't have to wait a ridiculous amount of time.

As mentioned above, you can make a character there. Jung Ma has some EU players. The server is based East Coast, which means the server time is EST, but that doesn't stop any of the West Coasters or overseas players from enjoying it. Don't be afraid to come over to Jung Ma! Its an awesome server, and has a great community .

Actually, posting in the suggestions forums is the best way to let them know what it is that you want. While at the Cantina Tour in NYC, Damion Schubert told me that they take a serious look at these suggestions, especially Cartel Market ones. They want to sell you stuff, so if you suggest it here, chances are if there is enough support they will take it very seriously.

I apologize to anyone who thought this was an RPvP event. This was always supposed to be World PvP. Any RPvP EO does will almost always be set up between participating Guilds, that way no random people pop in and troll the events. As for this particular event, it is NOT RPvP. Again, I apologize if anyone thought that.

One hour until we start! I'll be in-game (Selique Lasra - Imperial) preparing to burn Thorazan down. Lets see if any brave Republic Soldiers dare stand in the face of Darth Shade!
