Surely that was what the summer of PvP was for all non pvp players. Or the long periods where there was no content at all. Or the current state of the game where subscribers pay for a AAA service but get development mostly focused on the Cartel Market.
I have seen no evidence that by not adding content they have improved the state of the game. So any suggestion they should focus on bugs over content would likely be seen as a means to move the 2 of the 3 remaining devs to Anthem and see how long subscribers would go with the occasional bug fix.
DONT GIVE EA IDEAS LIKE THAT!!!!!!!
They have enough horrible greed-based ideas without your help.

Patch 5.11 - BUG HUNT!
Turn on Double XP, and just fix bugs in the months leading up to it.
We don't need a new Arena, we don't need anything new for months. Just please fix so much of the substantial stuff that's broken ever since QA went out the window during 5.x.
I think it might be reasonably safe to say that this would be many people’s all-time favorite update.
Consider me on board with this idea.

Thank you so much for this. I checked my two characters I took to new content and it looks like my Empire loyal Sith warrior is OK, she has Vette,Torian is dead,also Malcom is dead and Acina lives. However on my agent both Acina and Malcom are dead O_o. Well, my agent sided with Republic on Iokath and stayed with Republic ever since. I'm pretty sure Acina is dead and Malcom is alive and kicking...
Yep, from what people have been saying, it applies default choices regardless of whether you skipped, even though it’s supposed to do that *only* if you skip, and not even rescinding non-default choices those who didn’t skip made.

I will second (third?) Smuggler being a fun and dynamic story. It does play more like a BH (rebel, no a sycophant, or follower of hokey religions) than it's mirror class (Agent).
I like Consular. To me it is more of a Jedi story (a healer and diplomat) than the Knight (which I agree is trying too hard). The problem with the VA is they reused too many lines, so quite often what you say, the tone and inflection, doesn't match with the context. The Consular catchphrase is "the Jedi way is to serve," which is fine, except they only recorded it once and use it everywhere. This happens a lot with the Consular. The VA's they used are great in other properties, they were really underutilized and mismanaged here (IMO). Ignore the voice acting and read the lines in your own voice. Works much better.
Knight story is fine. It's not my favorite but it can be fun.
Trooper story I thought was a little boring, but I'm not really into military fiction.
I only heard that line a couple of times with my consular. Really, you only get the bland cliche response if you choose what you think is the stereotypical bland cliche expected response.

Hi, so do I understand this correctly? Basically,if our choices are important for us,we shouldn't start Jedi under Siege just yet? Also, is there something like list of default choices somewhere?
Default choices are essentially: imp characters choose all dark side/side with empire, rep characters choose all light side/side with republic. Imp characters (except Warrior) save Torian, rep characters save Vette. Not sure about other class specific variations aside from the Warrior saving Vette. Romances are untouched, as far as I know (except possibly Theron due to the traitor arc). Also, imp characters become eternal emperor/empress, rep characters go eternal alliance.
My consular’s the only one I’ve gone past the end of the class story with, and skipped (AFAIK at this point) only Ilum. She made light side choices the whole way, except for the Gemini Prime chapter (she withheld the extra intel Lana sent her) because she’s a Cathar (It’s only been 300 years since the Battle of Cathar) and she didn’t want the Mandalorians getting their hands on weapons and equipment that would let them renew their attempted genocide of her species. She chose to save Vette despite feeling Torian was a better person than the majority of Mandalorians - he’s a soldier (and still a Mandalorian), she’s not. She also chose to side with the empire on Iokath; they’d actively supported her campaign against Vaylin and she wanted to see for herself if Acina was being honest in her claims of attempting to get the empire to change their ways (her final decision: nope, they won’t change). She then sided with Republic on Ossus - she’s still a Jedi, still Barsen’thor, and it was the Jedi who needed her aid.
On starting Jedi Under Siege, companion/contacts list shows both Malcom and Acina as dead (both from attempting to use/control the superweapon), Vette alive/Torian dead, Theron alive and still in the alliance...not sure which other companions/contacts are affected by the default choices, if anyone has a list I can jump in-game and report their status.

Could a description of what each ending is be offered for those of us who aren’t completely sure what they entail?

Sooo....is this fixed? I'm still getting the explicit warning that accepting the quest will complete all story elements using the default choices for my class. Not in the terminal UI, that warning states that only choices I haven't made will be made for me, but in the "dialogue" after, it still says the ominous "nothing you did matters" line.
If it's mentioned explicitly that this HAS been fixed earlier in the thread, I apologize, I apparently missed it.
Not fixed yet, they haven’t released any patches/hotfixes/updates to address the problem yet. Yesterday was just server maintenance (and probably turning life day content off)

Influence levels now pretty much only affect a companion’s combat and crew skill effectiveness

In attempting to do all classes’ story missions in chronological order with each other, then obviously missions that occur simultaneously can be done in any order relative to the others that occur at the same time.

Space expansion with space pilot classes. Yes?
Republic pilot and imp pilot. Haven’t figure out the rest lol. We also need Wookiee’s.
Maybe an Ace pilot, bomber pilot, and privateer trees. I think this would drastically help with the game. We need a space story and great gameplay enhancements.
Do I hear someone suggesting they recreate JTL in SWTOR?

TRANSLATION- We had to chase a Jawa through the lunchroom all the way to his double parked sandcrawler. We found out why the hamsters are not running their wheels, seems one went full Sith and slaughtered the rest in a fit of hamster rage, so we are replacing them with womp rats and mynoks, which takes time due to the violent nature of these species. They should be successfully installed tomorrow during the shutdown by use of a rancor holo, a bounty hunter whose greatest failure was being eaten by the same Sarlacc twice and a smuggler that has a rather self-centered and emotionally challenged son who is angry that a girl with absolutely no training in the Force bricked his efforts to follow the failed path of his grandfather.

You mean the maintenance? That is a set of specific, scheduled work for that time window (which technically is just some back-end work, not a patch). Tonight's issues are more of the "unexpected and unscheduled" variety. It is different teams/people then what is planned for tomorrow.
Although we always do our best to minimize any and all downtime you experience, unfortunately, this isn't something we can combine.

I do enjoy that this thread is devolving into insanity, I appreciate all of you.
The team is still digging into the blank server select screen, we greatly appreciate all of your patience this evening. The team is working to get everything up and running again as fast as possible.

The only serious romance that makes sense for Tharan to have would be him finally realizing that he’s as deeply in love with Holiday as she is with him.
That said, it would be totally awesome to actually get to watch it happen as conversations/cutscenes, maybe where we give him advice and such.
(“yes, you should totally build a physical body for her, Tharan! I know you can pull it off properly! If there’s anyone in the galaxy who can give her the tactile sensitivity of an organic, it’s you!”)
