  1. Have you looked at your collections? There are a ton of mounts in there, just a small CC fee to unlock it for all your characters...

Plus with how mounts work, you can’t transfer them between characters, so just making them bound to legacy won’t work either.

  2. At this point, starting Ossus seems to be just plain bugged. It appears to apply class-dependent “default” choices regardless of whether you played through everything or skipped part of the story (even though it’s only supposed to do that if you skip). Wait to see if they get it fixed before any further testing involving Ossus. :)
  3. So, what you’re saying you want to see, is, if I have a dark 5 Sith warrior and toggle the little light/dark button by the minimap to switch it to light, I should be going to republic fleet/homeworlds instead of empire fleet/homeworlds?

Yeah, that won’t happen. The only way they’re likely to do it is as a story-based faction swap.

My reasoning? Brand new level 1 characters on their starting planets and the player flips the switch. Oops, now every NPC on the planet is hostile to that character (and that’s a *best* case minimal breakage scenario).

Or high level characters sitting on fleet and the switch is flipped.

  4. From a RP perspective, the motivations for those actions would be a stretch *as character motivations*, as your character wouldn’t have any way to know who’d replace Acina. However, the actions themselves...only you can say whether or not your character would take those actions based only on what the *character* knows.
  5. I think at absolute minimum we should have the ship droids and actively romanced companion. Preferably we’d get those and also either the original class companions we’ve regained or else the highest influence companions. The ship feels like a ghost ship starting when you get it back in kotfe chapter 9. I keep thinking it ought to be covered in dust and cobwebs and sometimes even feeling like something’s going to jump out at me and try to eat me.
  6. “Grey Sith”...interesting way to put it. Based on her appearance she’s never gone further into the dark side than Dark 1, and she strikes me as both pragmatic and better at long-term planning than dealing with immediate crises (such as Ziost, though admittedly that was both extremely immediate and extremely major). I’d call her a pragmatic light side Sith, myself, which certainly helped my consular fall for her deeply enough to choose Lana as her mate. My Inquisitor, OTOH...Lana’s human, and my Inquisitor sees humans as a plague on the galaxy that needs to be contained/controlled before they have a chance to push all the other sentients to extinction. :)
  7. Cutscenes should also generally acknowledge relationship status, rather than the romanced NPC always addressing the PC by the standard “agent”, “commander”, “my lord”, etc.

Even just a variation where (for example) Lana says “My love, we’ve just received a report of...” instead of “Commander, we’ve just...” at times would work, with this sort of alternate line being applied to all romanceable NPCs (though not necessarily at all times; it would be inappropriate during a formal briefing/planning session that included more than just close friends/companions, for instance)

And yes, as mentioned above, adding player species/gender references in general would add depth to cutscenes. A good example would be discussing Mandalorians with a Cathar PC - it’s only been 300 years since the Mandalorian Wars, during which the Mandalorians made a very nearly successful attempt at extinction-level genocide against the Cathar; it’ll be another millennia or three before the species and planet can be considered to have fully recovered from that.

  8. Ok, this may be throwing gasoline on a fire here, but...

Jedi is a legally recognized religion in New Zealand and has been for years (probably other countries as well, at this point). And yes, it is based entirely on Star Wars Jedi. It started as a prank with college kids standing on street corners preaching “the ways of the force”. :)

Someone made a short documentary about them a while back. I think it was sometime around when the original trilogy special edition came out, or else the prequels. Good stuff. :)

  9. Ok, if this hasn’t been said already (didn’t see it in the list on the first post and don’t feel like digging through the entire thread):

    On my Jedi Consular:

Sided with empire on Iokath and republic on Ossus - both Empress Acina and Jace Malcom are flagged as having died trying to control the Iokath superweapon.

Both Qyzen Fess and C2-N2 are listed twice - once in “other followers” (I completed their quests before finishing kotfe) and once in “unavailable companions”.

All others seem to be fine, apparently everything else that could be an issue my choices matched the default for a republic character.

  10. Yeah, I noticed the same thing. Meh. Code aside, it was clear to me that Holiday always was and always will be his true love.

Just pick something to get past that point, future conversations with him are more interesting (and never again reference the ‘full of himself fantasy relationship nonsense that never happened’). Pretend you caught him at the tail end of a daydream about you, that’s what I did. :D
