  1. The ability to chain together significant accuracy debuffs against raid bosses is rather game breaking.
  2. Snipers can already do this with their 35(not 30) meter range.
  3. I've played a few games as lethality. I don't deny that it is a great spec for Warzones. I just hate the thought of having most of my damage nullified if a cleanse-happy Commando or a Scoundrel just happens to be on the other team. I'd be interested in hearing any experiences from other lethality snipers whom have encountered a spam happy healer.
  4. I don't lurk here much, but I don't think anyone here has ever claimed that lethality's damage output is bad. Most people seem to have a gripe with Marksman and Engineering trees. Huttball isn't typically a great Warzone to use as a metric for damage. Running the ball and assisting the runner tends to lower raw damage/healing numbers as a lot of time is spent running around as opposed to fighting. As noted by the scoreboard, your team lost 1-5. I wasn't there; I cannot state with absolute certainty. Perhaps the possibly geared enemy team was too busy running the ball to win the Warzone rather than deathmatching to get good raw damage scores.
  5. You'd be surprised. Especially when you orbital strike on top of a friendly healer getting focused, objective or on enemy healers trying to stay out of the battle.
  6. Same thing happens on virtually every other MMO forum. Not just limited to WoW and SWTOR.
  7. Take a look at most of the advanced class forums. It feels as if almost everyone is griping about their individual classes. The people who don't actually have issues with their class are too busy playing the game to come and gripe on the forums .
  8. Mythbusters use empirical, quantifiable data to prove/disprove myths. You use your opinion. Not necessarily disagreeing with those opinions, but to claim that you are mythbusting is a little silly.
  9. I doubt it'll happen, but I'd love the ability to shoot from a prone position instead of crouching.
  10. The amount of crit chance you get from stats is small. Really small. Too small to matter. My sniper gets about 0.007% crit chance per point of cunning at level 50. It really isn't worth it to sacrifice your primary stat for cunning. If you want more crit, look for critical rating instead.
  11. Slicing: Use it as a gathering skill and not as a mission skill and you'll earn good money. Learn what missions give good rewards and you'll even earn more money(second hand information) Scavenging: 3 crafting skills use the mats scavenging produces; high demand. Third one is a tossup.
  12. Mountain officially made out of a molehill. You and your soapbox will not be missed
  13. Vodka and 12p/Predestined had Twin Emps down on either the first or second week after Mannoroth gained entry to AQ40. Mannoroth being the second server to open the gates. C'thun was virtually unkillable for over a month until a "fix this in a week or we're all quitting" post was made by someone in FoH(iirc, could be wrong). Blizzard hotfixed in a patch within the week and over 50 guilds killed him that evening. Gruul was also virtually unkillable until Blizzard nerfed his shatter range. I believe the only guilds to kill Gruul pre-nerf were ones who managed to bug the encounter so he wouldn't shatter anymore. I understand what you're trying to say, just don't use untrue examples .
  14. The easiest way to make money in an mmo is not to spend it. Don't buy anything other than your skills.
  15. Zones so populated by slicing gathering nodes, you trip over them giving you free money is useless? Slicing is a gathering skill, not a mission skill. All gathering skills lose money on missions.
  16. I'm working on Cybertech on my level 10 juggernaut. He is currently sitting around 210 skill. I'm assuming it'll go all the way to 400. Sure takes a while with only one companion though.
  17. Could be due to the fact that not enough people are 50 yet, but I'm finding my grade 6 scavenging mats sell on the GTN, while my crit/surge critically crafted level 50 epic sniper rifle and epic grade 22 barrels remains untouched.
  18. Investigation is the mission skill paired with Armstech, not UT. Companions for each class have bonuses spread across all crew skills. Look at the codex entries for the crew skills for suggested pairings.
  19. Put simply, if you find running to the GTN to grab crafted stims from the GTN too much of a hassle when a stim vendor exists, you will probably still still find it too much of a hassle to do so if the stim vendors were to be removed. Stims certainly aren't required for any part of the game short of hard mode flashpoints and operations. The basic idea of the stim vendor is a tradeoff between convenience and quality/money. Keep in mind I actually agreed with you about the other trade skills. At a glance, Biochem and Cybertech feel the most complete, while the other trade skills need a bit more love.
  20. I do hope you realize that all flashpoints are entered on the fleet. You'll be congregating on the fleet to form your group. If you can't be bothered to hoof it over to the GTN while on the fleet, you certainly aren't going to be bothered to buy overpriced, low quality stims from a vendor. Furthermore, why would you buy only 3-4? Why not keep a healthy stock on you at all times to reduce the number of times you'll need to restock from the GTN? I don't honestly believe that stims are going to be expensive once the majority of the populace starts hitting endgame.
  21. Agreed, for the most part. However, the stims that the stim vendors sell are inferior and exponentially more expensive than anything a Biochem crafter can make.
  22. Do we really need more threads about this?
