  1. OP got owned, u dont play the hybrid, dont talk
  2. PVP guilds cant survive in this game, there is no need for them to exist and no one will want to join. 1. 4 man premades, use of vent is limited 2. every noob and their dog can have welfare epics, and have enough left over for their mom, IN TWO WEEKS Thanks for butchering everything to the extreme and not using your head. 1. Ops had too much burst damage when on stims/adren? Make concealment ops useless AND make biochem useless. 2. People say sith inquistor was overpowered...nerf assassin, that makes sense they are sith inquistors! 3. We made a mistake and got rid of PVP starter gear, so now make epic PVP gear for EVERYONE and easy as hell to gear up!!!! This is what happens when the company blindly rushes to cover up their past mistakes: This is like what happened to a sales company I saw once, taking everything to the extreme once they see a problem in 1 sector Stage 1: Sales people not making enough sales Stage 2: Hire more sales people Stage 3: Too many sales people, cant manage Stage 4: Make all sales people sit at their desk and write reports on what they are doing all day Stage 5: Most of the sales people quit cause of over control freak management Stage 6: Increase salaries to attract people and cancel report writing system Stage 7: Hire a bunch of overpaid noobs who have no management Stage 8: Company closes down Bioware, you are at stage 4
  3. read the labels next time you buy your cereal the selling point of this game is voice acting, not pvp
  4. Come on I randomly CANNOT even CHAT in WZ ops group!!! It's already hard enough to give out instructions cause you don't allow 8 man premade now I can't even chat! CHAT!!!! This isn't 1990 when the Internet was in it's infancy. 300 mil spent on development and I cant even chat. The game has been in testing for over a year and you can't even get CHAT right? My head asplode!!!
  5. I already turned off tracking, still spikies. What happens if I abandon it anyways?
  6. Everytime someone takes command of an area, huge letters pop up on my screen and I need to lag for 5 seconds... Is the software so bad that even a few letters popping up on the screen causes my whole system to stop? Do I even need to hold on to that quest? Can i just abandon it?
  7. I dont understand why this cannot be done. It would be so cool. The ops leader will have a birds eye view of the battle field, assign locations and jobs to each player, and the player earns EXTRA points simply by going to the zone he was designated when he makes a kill or defends/captures an objective. Not a game breaking load but will be worth your while to listen. Ops players have the ability to vote down a leader, maybe even kick him. It doesnt work in the current system, because of the poorly implemented valor farm system, but i can never understand why this cannot be done in MMOs. It can even offer no reward, just a way to make "tactics" viable instead of zerg zerg zerg.
  8. Would be SO funny if you get zero pieces of gear out of all 7 bags then you come back to this forum and say FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
  9. I keep hearing a lot of people not wanting to dip their bottoms into the 50 WZs, and for good reason. Like with many MMOs, entering the top level PVP scene as a late comer usually means you are starting at "Level 1" while lots of people are already at level 5-10. However, despite the loads of horrible PVP problems this game has, I actually think Bioware did something really well: They made winning WZs very important for players trying to gear up. You got your dailies (win 3 WZ) and your weeklies (win 9 WZ). Which gives you 1 and 3 champion bags respectively. Your team actually had to win for you to get gear, your scoreboard performance mattered very little. Here's my story: I was a concealment operative and ever since level 40, I've been top scorer in almost 90% of all the pre-50 WZs I played. I got Most medals (thanks to Rome's medal farming guide), most damage, most killing blows, most solo kills (well its easier for a concealment op i guess). It was glorifying! But once I hit 50...that came to an end. I couldn't kill anyone! I can knock people down for 3secs, then HELP them become immune to CC for 10 seconds. I couldn't kill anyone because my damage was low and i died very fast. Since I only had like 50 expertise, I was practically helping the enemy by taking up 1 player slot. Solution: Bring utility to the team, not personal glory. I did some research and devised a spec that brought utility to my team. Hybrid Heal and DOTs. No i still can't kill anyone, nor will I be top damage or healer (and how could I with such low expertise?). With a 21 second ranged AOE DoT, Orbital strike, Vanish and Healz. I'm able to hold down a door/turret for at least 1 minute because the enemy can take it. With the right teammates (who respond to cries for help), it's very easy to win WZs. (except Hutt Ball, I have very little special utility there except healing the carrier.) Before lvl 50, I never cared one bit for the objectives (and why should I? There was no substantial reward for winning). I just cared about ruling the score chart and made a name for myself. But now, I'm having fun in a new kind of way, and making friends with someone of the big PvPers on the server. I finished my WZ weekly in a day, and I've shot up from 50 expertise to 288 expertise within 24 hrs! (Lucky ) So the lesson I got was, 50 is a new era, and your past ways of success are no longer valid. It's time to learn and adapt a new way to do things, and as a good player, you will definitely find your niche and not need to reroll a sorc. Good luck! TL;DR - There are other objectives than medals. Winning the WZ is key
