  1. Too much work and the devs are too lazy and they don't care about you, only your money. Immersion and a living world was not in their plan, only story.
  2. We should at least have an option for high texture (the real high, not the actual medium) for our own character.
  3. I could see them hire just ONE guy and tell him to go world by world, city by city, area by area and his job would be to put life in the game. Give schedules and paths to NPC, give them animations and add a couple of hundreds of population in the main cities. After that, they'll also need to add the basic /day/night feature, that's for sure.
  4. Yes, the lack of life in the game is pretty bad. The cities like Coruscant, Kaas and Nar Shaddaa are empty where we should see hundreds on NPC walking around and vehicles flying by and oh boy, Corellia is very special. Remember the beginning of 28 days later? Yeah, that. It's like it's not finished yet.
  5. It's not so much a lack of content and more a lack of feature. The comment about MMOs being dumbed down is indeed true here. No day/night, no swimming, no free space, no housing, removal of many races, decade old character creation, no appearance tab, no armor dye, no racing with customizable vehicles, no casino/pazaak/sabacc, decade old boring combat system, no collision detection, ridiculous laughable cinematics, no starship interior customization, crafting years begind SWG, messed up codex, dead worlds, linear pathing, no GM event, no dynamic event, no personal achievement, no environnemental interaction, no guild emblem, no guild ship... Many basic features missing for a multi millions dollars game with the most powerful IP in the world.
  6. A little bit too late, we made our character. But of course it's a shame they were removed.
  7. Voice acting is ok but the animations don't follow, it's like 2 robots talking to each other, it's very rare for either person to move and actually look believably alive.
  8. A long time. They have to record hours of voice for each class and add new locations. That's why they must add other things to do beside combat like in Galaxies so people will stay longer.
  9. You should know by now that BioWare's communication department is lazy to say the least.
  10. Not much to do beside fighting. They'll have to add a lot of social feature like in SWG if they want to keep more people.
  11. Close. Only thing missing is an integrated voice system. "Welcome, master. I hope you will enjoy the ride today."
  12. I will finish the game with my character then they will need to add the features of Galaxies, add non combat stuff to do to and add the features that should have been in at launch (day/night, living world, etc) to keep me.
  13. I've been thinking the same thing but now the patch note says they are adding a mod table...???
  14. You should know by now that BioWare has no communication skill.
  15. Sorry, due to budget concerns, immersion couldn't be added to the game.
  16. I'm curious to know how you would describe something that is not tank and spank then?
  17. What do they have to add first then?
  18. People can already come aboard tho it's very bugged for the travel but I'm with you with the decoration and customization part. Having a personality and attachment will make people stay in this game, unlike the desert that is endgame. As for idea, it's simple, make every item in the game droppable on the ground and allow us to move and rotate them anywhere on the ship. Add furniture and interaction items to that like toggleable lights and we're in for a long time.
  19. It was useless to you, but some people have imagination and like to RP and do other things than kill everything that moves (only thing to do in this game) and want more. What is so hard to understand? You are not alone in the whole world.
  20. I'll have to see BW say "We don't your kind of players in our game" before I believe that, but I doubt it will happen since it would make them look even more bad.
  21. That's what kept many people in SWG until the last day. That sandbox feature in a theme park MMO is possible and well deserved. Because you don't like it doesn't mean that it's the same for everyone. Sometimes, think about the fact that you are not alone and it's not all about yourself.
  22. How can you call a house something in which you can't move or add anything?
