  1. The version of NIM DF on PTS right now is actually not exactly the launch version. As they said here, there will be a buff on each boss called "Nightmare Power" which will increase its health and damage output to nightmare levels. This buff will be temporary, but will be on the bosses as soon as the Op releases.
  2. Yeah, but I've got most of the datacrons memorized, and that's slightly faster than checking guides for them, not that the guides aren't very useful the first time around.
  3. If you're an integral part of your NIM raid group, then you're not looking for groups as a non-sniper DPS. I don't see what your problem is, or why you could say that other people have one, when in fact they don't. If it's 16 man you're talking about, there's no way you're only going to have one of each DPS, something has to be repeated at least once in the group, and maybe snipers are just what you happen to have more than one of? Maybe the reason you need 2-3 sniper shields is because you don't have enough healers? Btw, as a side note, if you want people to know the third character in your sig is a gunslinger, put another gun on the other side or next to the first one.
  4. Yeah, but the alternative would be to just hit a higher level. Idk, maybe you can do both. Just a warning to any dragon knights in your guild who want to put more into their builds, don't put anything into dragon leap right now, it doesn't work, as awesome as it seems. It's probably working on the PTS, but we're not on that.
  5. I wouldn't bother with that, unless you're going to try and memorize the locations. This test is the last, then character wipes. Instead, make a character on another alliance, or maybe try Cyrodil PvP are my recommendations. If you're interested in PvPing, it pays to explore Cyrodil first, so you know which ways you can and can't go.
  6. Fine, I'll post something meaningful. What is your problem, exactly? What makes you think that groups are biased towards snipers? Ballistic shield doesn't really even do much, a good enough anything can out DPS a sniper, and most pug groups don't even seem to ask for them. If you want a world first clear, don't expect to get it at this point unless you're already in the guild that's going to get it. I would be more concerned about the fact that powertech, jug, and assassin DPS don't get taken for anything.
  7. If you look hard enough, you should be able to easily find a hardcore guild to take you, regardless of your class. My guild has all of the classes as DPS, and we clear the HM Ops every week, often cycling through DPS to give others a chance. The guild you find may not be a world first guild, but does that really matter? Most people in those guilds are too serious anyway. Find yourself a good guild that looks for good players instead of their classes. The only DPS I play is a Marauder, and you'd be surprised at how difficult it is for us to find good spots, since most guilds take at least one per Op. A lot of guilds already have one, and I've found that we generally stay in one place, I don't know why, but it means our spots don't open up often.
  8. The thing is though, Kashyyyk's resources are mostly wood, due to the large trees (Because of Rakata terraforming). There isn't much use in controlling it during a war. Also, funny thing about Naboo, it was just recently discovered by humans about 200 years before the game's story takes place, so around when Revan was running around. (5 years before Revan was on Kashyyyk, to be exact). Fifty years after this (150 years ago), humans started to actually colonize the planet. Nothing significant is supposed to have happened between this time and 900 years later, which means that something might have that just hasn't been written about yet (hint hint).
  9. Can I please get a source? All I found on the old republic era for Kashyyyk was that the Republic controls it. Also, "During the time of the Cold War, a proxy conflict between the Sith Empire and Galactic Republic, one of the oldest Wroshyr trees in Kashyyyk—reportedly millennial old—was dying, and eventually someone was sent to examine its rings and learn furthermore about the planet's history." ^ quoted from Wookieepedia (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Kashyyyk). I assume this quote is paraphrased off of a bioanalysis mission.
  10. How about instead of doing research to try and find the little bit of information you're referencing (which I can't find myself) in response to his post, you just link it here? Anyway, in response to the OP, they have said before that they won't do Wookiees as playable because unfortunately, they can't speak basic. Also, I can't really imagine there being a Wookiee who wants to exploit Kashyyyk for its resources.
  11. Granted, but they're all Ewoks and Jawas now. I wish I could think of a better wish than this. Highlight to see ^^
  12. Granted, but the pepperoni was expired when they made the pizza. I wish my wish was invisible.
  13. Problem with players these days is they're all MMO hoppers. Always looking for something new. Unfortunately there aren't any new ideas anymore, so they just get angry because every new game they try uses ideas from older games. Until an entirely new concept is created, no one will ever be happy.
  14. Granted, you're strong in the Force of gravity due to your new weight of 10,000 lbs. I wish I didn't have to make a new wish with every post, and could just corrupt other peoples' wishes.
  15. I'd rather not have people on a PvE server come in and kill all the vendors while I'm shopping, sorry. PvP servers can have this if they actually want it, but I'm guessing most of them don't either.
  16. Except that in sandbox games with huge areas to "explore" nothing is elaborate, it's all flat (or hilly) with a few copy and pasted player built structures. If you've ever played Minecraft, another open world game that is actually good, when you get down to it, there really isn't any exploration past a certain point. Villages are all fairly similar and every ruin to explore is exactly the same. The only thing that's ever really interesting is what players build for themselves.
  17. Granted, but in the episode you're a guest on they're talking about this. I wish it was my birthday so I could make another wish.
  18. Granted, but seeing them driven before you makes you blind, and hearing the lamentation makes you deaf. I wish I could blow up Alderaan.
  19. They can't make an MMO that doesn't change over time. You know there were five tiers of gear before basic and elite gear? It was already worthless when you got it. It's been known for a while that bombers were coming, and another ship is coming too. You have plenty of time to save up. As for getting bombers on alts, why? Just pick one character to play GSF on. This game is not SWG, and is not made by SOE, so don't expect it to be anything like it.
  20. Granted, but the ones you get happen to be 2V-R8 and C2-N2, and they can't stop repainting your room. Same color of course, only fresher! I wish upon a star.
  21. I hope the next pack has an imperial scout mount, I don't want a republic one D:
  22. Ok, here's my solution suggestion. They allow you to buy only the bronze and silver quality rare cartel pack, and maybe the less rare gold quality stuff, for upwards of 1k coins apiece, and it's BoP no matter what it is.
