Dual Saberstaffs as Cosmetic Option
orangefishboy replied to AlCiao's topic in Cartel Market Suggestions
You know, when I originally saw that, I thought he was dual wielding double sabers and had two more on his belt, but watching the video now, I realize they're actually either four sabers that connect into two doublesabers, or two folding double sabers. -
This armor is awesome, put it in please!
orangefishboy replied to Elfa's topic in Cartel Market Suggestions
The buttcape is intended to make it similar to Jedi robes, because as it says, it is Jedi armor. -
You know if you explode on 3 people during the event, you get a DNA canister and a rep item? Just don't stand near the people exploding, or use one of the vaccines that last 6 hours. The event should be gone Tuesday anyway.

Honestly though, I think it's really cool, and I would definitely use it with my white sabers. -

I remember this armor, I wore it all the time, in Star Wars the Force Unleashed 2, 3000 years from now. Did you notice it's called experimental jedi armor? I would like it too, but it's a little lore breaking to have experimental armor from the future -
I don't understand this concept at all. When something is Bind on Pickup, it's intended to be bound to that character permanently, not mailed to their alt. Also, what does this have to do with event items? They're mostly bound to legacy already.

Probably seeing as I have the force and it's a lightsaber blade, which is similar to a blaster bolt, I would simply bat it off to the side with my own lightsaber. Alternately, I could catch it with the force. As a side note, how prepared would you be to throw such an unconventional weapon, given that it's ringed with a lightsaber blade?

Anything on the cartel market is your choice other than the boxes. They are gambles. Some people are into gambling, but nothing in the boxes is NECESSARY for progression in the game. If you don't want to gamble on the boxes, there are many other ways to get anything that's in them. If you've got four alts, for example, and want the new Korrealis Duke, (on my server at least) it's just two days of serious daily grinding to buy that item. There is no reason you should be able to choose which box items you want to get, because the basic idea of them is that you're gambling, maybe you'll get junk, maybe you'll get something really good, but either way, it really doesn't cost much. If you're concerned about getting addicted to boxes, trying to get the thing you want out of them, maybe you'd be better off just ignoring what's in them entirely? If it's really so bad, buy the items with credits, it doesn't actually take a lot to farm them, unless you're really lazy like I am.

Which stuff should be included in a subscription price that we have to spend even more on are you talking about? The cosmetic gear, or the cosmetic pets, or maybe the cosmetic mounts?
-
First off, why would a sniper use two pistols, and why would a gunslinger use a sniper rifle? Second, why is this under cartel market suggestions?

Can I has this mount nau...
orangefishboy replied to Vorpaledged's topic in Cartel Market Suggestions
I'd rather see some two seat mounts that actually hold two people. I really want to bum rides off of my guildies in Ops and while running dailies/events -
If you manage to chase him off, then he's a coward and you shouldn't chase him, he's probably not actually any good anyway. I for one will not run back to my capital ship in my gunship unless there are 6 people chasing me. If it's just one ship, I'll even take my chances dogfighting, feedback shield + rotational thrusters + burst laser cannons + head-on scout = dead scout

Developer Update: Bomber Class Starfighter
orangefishboy replied to CourtneyWoods's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, because everyone flying a gunship uses barrel roll, and no one kills gunships. You know gunships have very precise tunnel vision when firing, and very few short range defenses? Just because a bomber can put one mine next to the gunship doesn't mean that it'll even survive long enough to place a second, and no one should have to get within 1000 meters to hit a gunship. -
Assuming you're talking about Shipyards, once the enemy goes past the asteroid with a hole in it, they can't hit anyone on B, don't follow them. As for Kuat, a gunship already has trouble hitting anything on B there, and once they go over the huge wall, they should also not be followed, unless they're going to A or C.

It's just a personal preference, I don't like what it does. The idea was to separate GSF completely from credits, like warzones are. All you can get for credits are ships that other people are selling, and customization items.

Galactic Starfighter Build Calculator
orangefishboy replied to Iwipe's topic in Galactic Starfighter
Dulfy, you should add videos of each of the different engine abilities to your calculator page, or make a new page. It would have helped me to know what some of them did before I bought them. -

New gunship is for people who don't feel the need to have two types of railgun on their ship. -
Before buying a new ship ability, ask people (friends, not fleet trolls) what it does, how it compares to what you have, and if it's worth buying. Someone should know. It's how I avoided buying power dive for my scout.

Maybe I'm just wrong then. Most of his fighting is supposed to be Juyo though, I think most of the backhand stance you see is just when he isn't fighting actually.
-
I'm not totally sure that it is Vaapad though, because he actually supposedly used all 7 forms.
