  1. Definitely agree with server forums. I'd probably never need more than 4 hot bars, but why not give the option? UI should be fully customizable. I think Bioware needs to get a clue about UI's and mmo's. I've noticed that people will accept pretty much any UI in a game that ends in less than 100 hrs, but in something people want to play for months and years, there must be the ability to customize extensively or people will lose their minds and quit.
  2. The UI, crafting, GTN, no dungeon queues, no end game, 4 person groups, too easy, too hard, companions, linear planets, not sandboxy, space combat... etc, etc... basically, everything.
  3. I'd play it to 50 and wait for the first major patch. If I wasn't seeing big changes after that, then no. Soooo basically, exactly the same regardless of the George Lucas bit. The Star Wars theme doesn't get me going as much as the sci-fi theme does. I'm frakkin' sick of elves and orcs.
  4. Instead of turning off XP, just make XP harder to get. Makes more sense.
  5. If anything, it's too easy.
  6. The very fact that SWG ended makes it inferior to many mmo's that came before it... because they're still going strong. This is a very poor example.
  7. I want either a dungeon finder or, at the very least, the ability to port to a dungeon when your group is ready. I hate having to linger outside the group area until I find a group. You never know how long that's going to take, and I usually end up getting impatient and leaving after a couple of minutes. I also hate spamming general. I know, people will be all "you need to be social, this is an mmo, suck it up," but I don't get how typing "lfg" or "lfm" 10 times in a row is social. It's friggin' annoying. I'm sick of seeing it, and sick of doing it.
  8. I've had Mako and Khem Val so far. I like Mako a lot, but Khem Val needs to learn English or shut up. I hate how he's always muttering something that forces me to read lol. Life is HARD!
  9. I worked third shift for 5 years and played mmo's during most of that time. You really just need to learn that the game's home time zone gets privileged and just suck it up. Annoying, but true.
  10. I'll give them one big patch to make me mostly happy. If that doesn't do it, I'll probably give up on mmo's forever.
  11. lol... love it. Maybe his kids are taking janitorial jobs from janitors.
  12. Makes you wonder what they were doing in beta for 1+ years!
  13. Underworld trading gives recipes?? I'm so doing it wrong.
  14. Yes. It's all the little annoying/awkward things like this that make me wonder how long this game will keep my interest. I haven't found an in-game feedback option, either (unless I'm being dumb and missing it). That makes me think they don't even want to hear complaints/suggestions.
  15. Here's to hoping they make cybertech better instead of nerfing biochem.
  16. Regardless of the arguments, prices have plummeted. I only lose money raising my crew skills now. No one is buying anything. I have to sell things at a loss. I've NEVER had to do that in a game before -- it's usually just a matter of how greedy I want to be. Missions are far too expensive for the one or two things you get back.
  17. I noticed this as well! I'm glad I'm not crazy. It seems like I'll make a steady profit if I do green slicing and moderate yield yellows, but if I try orange and big yield yellows I either fail or lose money -- even green boxes don't come out with much profit. I got lucky a few times, but this seemed to be the general rule of thumb.
  18. Nerd rage! I spent a lot of money on AH items. I didn't have scavenging because of slicing, so I had to buy mats to get my cybertech up. I suppose I could have just gone scavenging, but then I wouldn't be WILDLY rich, would I?? Duh. Jeez.
  19. This is true. Slicers were making everyone else rich... unless of course they just hoarded it and chuckled, but eventually that money was going to benefit someone else.
  20. I was fine with the slicing nerf until I got a green box and still lost money. Doesn't make any sense. Low level missions seem to give better payouts -- not a ton of money, but at least a profit most of the time. The higher level missions just suck all your money even if you get a green box.
  21. Worst auction house since Everquest where you had to stay logged in and in a certain zone.
  22. It's days like this I love having a job where I can "work" from home. Bwahahaha. Fools!
