  1. This scares the **** out of me. Many outside these forums wouldn't believe how often i have actually seen this response to even the most constructive of feedback threads. It is the most mind boggling bout of hyperbole i've ever seen. This game will NEVER prosper with people unable to work toward improving this game. Such anger dwells within me whenever i see such hyperbolic and childish ****.
  2. Make travelling in general faster and i would re-subscribe. Sometimes i log off the damn game because i know the 15 minute run of tedium i have to go through to change planets. People saying "Look at the environments! Stop whining, its about exploration!". Its nice to start with, but by level 10, the tedium ramps up. Why do you think every large world game out there has some form of refular fast travel? Why not give the option to the people (the majority) who don't want to run through barren landscapes and loading screens just to get to a destination? A fast travel option certainly wouldn't hurt those who want to continue the tedious travel.
  3. Let me grasp the logic behind this. You actually think 7 minutes of running is worthy of someones time? Are you *********** serious? We are lazy for not wanting to put up with, as you said yourself, 7 minutes of running just to start playing the game again? Do you see how retarded you sound? You make it seem like running is a *********** gameplay feature that adds to the challenge of the game. This forum is a damn disaster; full of trolls and outright illogical morons.
  4. Are you freaking kidding me? The OT had HORRIBLE saber duels! They stood in one place and clubbed eachother's sabers! The only thing the prequels exceed the OT in, and by a freaking large margin i might add, arer the light saber duels. They are just objectively better. Seriously, the Darth Maul and Obi Wan figfht is so damn intense. The Anaking and Obi Wan fight is amazing (If a bit drawn out). Compare that to the Obi Wan and Vader fight in A New Hope. LOLOLOLOL.
  5. Nar Shadaa and Taris both had me afk while auto-run was toggled. Thye tedious corridors are just death. Typical Narshadaa corridor. You have to run through a tedious 30 minute maze to get to a destination located right beneath you. It's so ****ed up.
  6. My biggest problem with the game. Bump to keep it in BW's field of vision
  7. Same OP. Exxcept i'm so underlevelled that i can't fathom the amount of grinding i would have to do to mend my character. I just couldn't do ALL the sidequests anymore. They are just so tedious and fetchy that doing them was really killing any fun i was having. but then not doing them is killing my possibility to continue the game. Lose lose.
  8. I agree; if the quests weren't so grindy and everything wasn't so spaced out across a barren wasteland.
  9. That is quite possibly the worst attempt at comparing in the name of sarcasm i have ever seen. They are not even similar in the least bit. It is like you went out of your way to make yourself seem like a fool.
  10. Eew, DA2 was horrid. TOR gets a pass because it's an MMO. If the Jedi Knight story were the story for an SP RPG (KOTOR 3 for example), the game would be ***** and pillaged by critics and fans. Like someone else said, the game has a good story....for an MMO. Compared to most SP RPGs, it just doesn't compare.
  11. I love statements like these: "It's not as bad as *MMO #134* so it's good!" It is an extremely grindy game. Just because other MMOs are more grindy does not make SWTOR less so.
  12. Well, i guess not wanting to hoof it through the same overly extended linear zones in which ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAPPENS, is carebear. And apparently it is challenging work (LOL) that one must put in. Running through any zone is fun the first time. But coming back, to that same zone, and seeing the objective marker on the other side of the map, knowing there is nothing but a 10 minute jog ahead of you, is intimidatingly tedious.
  13. Oh my god. RUNNING is NOT a gameplay aspect!! Wanting to skip the CONSTANT running after the 30th sidequests is NOT skipping the game. I want to do the sidequests!! Read my friggin post!! I don't care about godamn levelling. Levelling is just a necessity to continue the storyline for me. The assumptions you people make, it is truly mind boggling. I do not want to spend my game time running. That does not mean i want to rush the godamn game. It just mean i want to PLAY the game. PLAY THE GAME.
  14. An "I win" button. What are you guys like 12? Calling me a child when you sound like a bunch of elitist 12 year olds? Can you guys honestly, to my e-face, tell me that by level 30 you're not sick of running around? It's nice at first, but once you know every little detail of an environment and know that the only way to get there is to take part in a mini-marathon, you are not in the *least* bit over it? Can you say that to my e-face? Really? Can you see yourself in the next few playthroughs to level 50 enjoying a 10 minute run to each quest sequence? To my e-face? Sandbox is fine, but when you are stuck in a 2km maze it's a completely different story.
  15. I don't consider myself lazy for not wanting to spend 50% of my gametime getting my character to an actual gameplay segment. I am not working, i'm not being challenged; i'm just sitting there with auto-run toggled on. It has nothing to do with being lazy. In fact it promotes laziness. I am afk all the time during running segments.
