This actually made me lol. Guessing you rolled a pure dps and can't grasp the concept that some ACs can perform two roles. I can learn to play all i want, but that wont make it possible to heal in a dps spec(in any serious way).

Everyone is still on the free 30 days, a lot are playing both right now, and if the crippling ability delay/general unresponsiveness of the combat system isnt corrected, it will lose the hardcore pve and pvp players. People throw out the, but it just launched or wow didnt have so and so on launch either, excuses all the time, and the fact is wow is what? 6 years old now? tor has all of that work to build from, not having proper pvp matchmaking, bracketed pvp, or a combat system that works 100% of the time is a pretty big fail Add to that the fact that the game came out on the tail end of 2011 and has no high res textures, no AA, and poor performance on a range of high end hardware. I want this game to succeed, and it likely will financially just from the star wars nerdbase and casual/RP crowds, but i want it to succeed across the board. Sadly, I fear that it will not.

First: My bulge is huge. Second: The women are a bit too top heavy but, honestly, that's what people want to look at, it's nature. Third: There is no third.

This trend the devs have of suggesting people reroll as a solution to a problem is a bit disturbing. For all the talk of story and your own saga...it really isn't. The quests turn out the same, horribly linear way every time. Class quests are different of course, but that is a small % of the total quests you do getting to 50 and beyond. Dark/Light change nothing but a few lines of dialogue in most cases(talking about the general go kill 10 imperials quests) so not even that changes the experience. Plus, if people wanted to reroll, they already have/will.

Go play any other class in the 30s, then come back and tell me how it feels.

CE was obvious money waste, so shame on you if that's your problem. Honestly, you sound like another of those players who seemed to think this was the next kotor, and it isn't. It was never meant to be. People complain about the story and the options you have. Be glad you have any options at all, or go back to WoW and just read text. The game has problems, but when you expect it to be what it never was meant to be, you just set yourself up for failure.

Welcome to MMOs. You ***** and moan about 8 hours. 8 hours that keeps the servers functional and is required. Go read a book, watch some movies, or go outside and see if the sun is still there. Ill gladly trade 32 hours a month for servers that work.

There is a tank pvp set, but it has defense rating and shield absorption rating only if i recall. and of course quite a bit of the stat budget is on useless expertise

your offhand saber is a visual stat stick. its the Focus of the sentinel class, and it is how it is.

Where is this off-gcd force push you speak of with a 3 sec cooldown? There is the on-gcd force push with a 1 min cooldown that, while fun, is usually the exact opposite of what a tank wants to do to a mob. Pretty sure Force Pull was once a JK ability in beta, but it was removed because knights were too strong, a lot of damage was taken away also, leaving them in the sorry state they are right now. *shields for incoming crap about how some guy in PvP is two shotting level 20s with no gear when he has pocket heals and T2 pvp gear*

I don't mind "grinding" warzones, but when the reward is an empty bag, the treadmill becomes far less interesting.

I like how a full defense spec/gear guardian can die in a stun from an infiltrator/scoundrel. World of Mage and Roguecraft all over again.

Get friends or just glitch it. There is a massive thread about this on this board and there is a puzzle that is meant to give you a full set of blue gear for T7, but the reward chest doesn't function. Spoiler is the easy way!

I had no trouble with the Sand Demon, or anything else for that matter until much later on where the incoming damage just ramped up more than my outgoing. I havn't completely given up on it, and the Belsavis level 50 content is a lot easier. Ilum is still a chore, and I am still stuck on Lord Loyat. Been using Rusk a lot lately and I honestly think he may be better than kira, even with most of his gear being the stuff he starts with he still hits 1800-2k with aimed blast and he has more aoe than Kira. Also he stands back so random aoe doesnt wear him down. Overdrive Beam seems useless however, i just turn it off. I really like the Shadow playstyle, but I hate the consular armor, and the companions are boring, to me. I'm really afraid that leveling another toon to 50 again so soon will turn me off of this game entirely. As for Trooper, the only AC im interested in is the Commando and they arent tanks so thats out. Thanks for the input by the way, It's a relief to know that its not all just me sucking lol
