Exactly! Yes you can make a lot creds using slicing, but unless you're a hoarder that money is going to go back into the economy. I for one spent a large portion of slicing profits on mods, gear and other GTN stuff. I can't make gear for myself so slicing enables me to buy what I need (and help my guild with schems). If slicing is no longer viable I now have a mountain to climb trying to level a crafting skill. Furthermore I don't particularly like crafting and now I'm being forced into it. I'm really curious about the extent of the nerf tbh.

While I don't agree with the vehemence in the OP, I have to say it's astounding that there's a 300+ queue already at 10 am gmt...

I have never complained about anything regarding this game so far. Moreover I've always been content with all the decisions BW made, even if they meant me waiting an extra few days or some options missing from the game or whatnot. ...but this is ridiculous. Waiting 3hs (and counting) in a queue is not normal. I'm sorry but if I'm going to pay a subscription I expect to be able to play not wait in a queue for several hours, and then play for one or two before going to sleep/work or attending to other responsibilities all of us have. And I'm one of the lucky few who actually has a bit of free time available. There are people who can only allocate 2 or 3 hours per day to this game, and that time is spent waiting in a queue. Keeping your character logged in IS NOT a solution as it only exacerbates the issue. Only selfish, ignorant people resort to this. Re-rolling IS NOT an option, most of us have guilds, have friends and can't all move to some server only to face the same issue a week later. I'm am not going to re-roll my character get it to lvl 30 again and then discover that the new server is also getting overcrowded. Something needs to be done about this because people will not pay to wait in queues. So far BW came through on many other issues. I really hope they can do it again and manage to solve this problem. /rant

I'm also in a queue, I don't like it, it could have been done better but I find it preposterous to ***** and moan when just a few days ago they same people complaining about EGA were posting"we don;t care about queues, crashes and lag, let us in" Hats off to you sir.

I never use caps when posting; I'll make an exception: YOU HAVE GOT TO BE Fing KIDDING ME! QQing about queues when they do 7 waves in one day just to get almost everybody in, after ************ for days on end about the staggered EGA? Truly, truly unbelievable. You have to be the most ungrateful bunch of brats I have ever seen on a forum, game, heck the internet!

Nowhere in my post did I use terms such as "nationalism", "favouritism" or anything of the sort. The fact that they do differentiate based on nationality is just that... a fact and therefore undeniable. The underlying reasons for doing so are of little concern to me, but I assure you that "DISTANCE" is not one of them as many of our geographical neighbours are not barred from buying the game. I would also recommend reading the FAQ: an active subscription - be it CC or time card - is required in order to play the game from the 20th. You simply don't get billed until the 30days expire. What worries me greatly is that in one of his tweets SR mentioned that as long you can use your CC to purchase from Origin you can also pay for a subscription. However to my knowledge no red zone CC could be used to make purchases on Origin, but I may be wrong there.

1. People should look up, read up on what an exploit is. It's been said over and over again, taking advantage of a design flaw repeatedly for your benefit represents an exploit. Just because the bug is there does not mean one should exploit it for his or her benefit. 2. SR said that people did not exploit this feature. I'd take that with a grain of salt. The flaw is there and it needs to be addressed. 3. It has always been evident that SWTOR is more about the journey than the end-game content. With so much invested in designing pre-cap content it's a shame rushing though it just to hit cap ASAP. I for one love the fact that there is little grinding and that finally levelling is a pleasant, engaging activity. I already have a job, a mmo shouldn't be one as well. 4. You like being the 1st to hit cap for whatever reason; that's fine, but not all of us do, and you have to realise that once you get there it's probably going to get boring, especially considering that this is a new game.

If there is one thing I hate about SWTOR it's the red zone policy. I'm absolutely OK with everything else related to this launch but this differentiation based on nationality is just wrong on so many levels. Anyhow ordered from Amazon.it (as .co.uk was out and .de and .fr are localised), the box got here today, waiting for it to be delivered. The problem will be the subscription though, as time cards only launch on the 20th and more likely than not swtor won't accept red zone CCs. So either way I'll prolly not be able to play from the 20th onwards until my time card gets here.

For EU peeps there are also 2 copies available on Amazon.it (non-localised) and may be more localised on .fr and .de

These aren't cancellations, although it would make little difference if they were. Like someone else said the retailers simply got their stock and got extra items. Grats to those having a second shot at these!
