  1. I have the same issue with Theron. Everyone in my guild who has chosen either Lana or Theron in the cantina scene, is experiencing the same issue. IF we continue to raise these companions level through game play or other gifts, how will this affect romance? With choices and relationships that matter now, I worry about raising these companions too high w/o interacting within the "romance".
  2. No, it is about the romance or gifts. Everyone in my guild that has chosen to court either Lana or Theron through the Cantina scene (confirmed with the pop up dialog button) experiences the no reputation gain from courting gifts.
  3. I have a problem that is along this same line of discussion. (posting here as I can't seem to find a thread discussing this issue - started one in Lore) I intended to to start a romance with . I got the pop up dialogue and confirmed. The companion won't accept courting gifts. Anyone else having an issue with courting gifts after starting a romance at this point?
  4. The companion won't accept courting gifts? Is anyone experiencing this issue? (I realize this may not be the correct place to put this, but the new customer service "forums" are ... less than optimal. )
  5. It has been one hour since it went down. We require an update! Chop Chop Eric, the force waits for no community manager!
  6. I would like to know this one as well. I don't know why it is even being debated. The ability (technically) is clearly available...let the players move their toons as they like...
  7. You have to post a link to videos here of course... We all want to watch...
  8. Bioware/EA have a very public relationship with Razer. Any Razer keyboard product (other than the headsets) have the ability to record any macro you want. All that Bioware is saying is that they aren't going to open up the backend of the software. IF you want a macro go buy a Razer keyboard or mouse... or some of the Logitech gaming keyboards ... They all have the ability to record macros. I applaud Bioware/EA for the stance on keeping the game as clean as possible ... I for one enjoy that I am not required to run additional software within the game just to be able to play! Bioware has said nothing more than no in-game macros and no add ons. I have seen DPS meters tear guilds apart. I have seen great players be turned away from guilds because they wanted to play a clean game (no bartender, no recount, no DBM). Bioware needs to continue its policy of not opening up the back end of the software. As far as the post I quoted here; it is not illegal to have macros... it is illegal to screw with the software to make them... Go get a Nostromo or Naga guys...
  9. I am not saying I either agree or disagree with the op. I am however going to raise a point... So staggered invites are working for the players in EA. The servers are running fine and everyone is enjoying their characters, starting zones aren't crowded, etc. That is all well and good for those of us that have pre-ordered, but what about the 20th? What about those people that chose not to pre-order and are picking it up at a midnight release for the first time? Think about it... I "get" the staggered pre-orders. I also understand the PR disaster they made for themselves by not communicating well to the fan base (my age group generally <I am 36>) what is going on. They did not communicate approx dates until late in the day yesterday; only after being trashed by a lot of people. You can't leave people hanging like that. They killed the mystique of the game for us. Many of us are "meh, if I get to play... whatever..." at this point. Several of my friends killed their pre-order and I strongly considered it (even tried, but customer service was not available and the website was down). What many people don't understand is that (yes I have my email invite sitting in my box and have not opened it yet), its not about getting to play early, its about the lack of communication, its about that half the world won't have support after launch, getting into customer service is impossible by BOTH email and phone, etc., etc. We know it is an amazing game. We want to be assured that Bio/EA/Lucas can support the game when there is a real issue. IF they can not handle this, what can I expect them to handle in the future?
  10. 1.You obviously did not read the other posts I made in the thread. 2. Contacting customer service is a no go as far as Bioware is concerned... have you tried? 3. I will admit my first post was full of unnecessary emotion. I stated what I was really trying to say in a later post. I have serious concerns about the ability of Bio/EA/Lucas to "back" the game with service. 4. It is a communication issue for me. The lack of communication is very concerning. 5. When one can not get through to customer service by phone or email... one might think of posting in the Customer Service forums... like this one...
  11. Mommy hasn't paid my bills in 25 years... she also died last month thank you very much.
  12. So many things have been crossing my mind since creating the post in my "rage". It is not that I am not in the game yet... I fully only expected 1 maybe 2 days of EA because of the issues I experienced with the pre-order codes. SWTOR has stated they are not wanting to overload the servers... What happens on the 20th when EVERYONE is logging in at the same time? Are they saying the servers can't handle the load? Yes, I want to play the game. The game itself is great! What I am questioning is the ability of EA/Bioware/Lucas to back up the game with service. If customer service is not strong enough to handle the biggest MMO launch in history and EA/Bio/Lucas aren't willing to give basic answers to basic questions; what can I expect in the future when there is a real issue? Setting appropriate expectations is a must for a community like this. All it takes is for them to give approximations... don't give people a week long period of "maybe". Gamers (yes everyo0ne posting here is one too) tend to plan for and around activities in a game. Can one person "bashing" me in this thread say they have never scheduled time in their life to raid, or quest, etc.? I "get" that things comes up... I expect hiccups... communicate to me whats going on (in any issue) and things calm down. Does EA/BIO/Lucas have what it takes to back the game up; both technologically and service wise?
  13. EXACTLY! All I am asking for is some basic communication. z Again I would not care if I only got one day EA... I just want to know something.
