  1. Same, I have been stuck with Voss Rampage 2 as well (and CZ weekly) since PTS went live.
  2. Some quick points: -> There are WAY too many empty slots on the tracks, it doesn't do much to motivate to level the season if half of the slots are empty. -> The objectives being listed among the conquest ones makes the conquest list very messy as well. -> No clear indication of how far along to the next season level you are. I only see 12 tokens from the reward tracks, this isn't even enough to buy all the season 1 marked stuff from the reward vendor, not to mention it is a very low amount for what is meant to be a 5 month period. I did a quick count and in order to get ALL the season 1 exclusive stuff (2 alternate Teithek Mounts, complete Ornate Weapon set, & Altuur Infiltration customization) you will need 24 tokens. If I level to 100 and am a subscriber I fully EXPECT to walk away from this with ALL the season 1 exclusive rewards with an excess of tokens left over to spend on some of the non-season exclusive stuff, if I can't get at least all the season 1 exclusive rewards that would be a big no-no. Not to mention what is the point of an excess of items (on a weekly rotation) on the vendor if you can barely acquire any at all? There are decorations on there as well and people are most likely going to want to acquire more then 1 of those as well. It is also not very clear if the season 1 exclusive stuff will stay on vendor after season 1 or not, but even if that is the case 12 tokens for 1 season is still WAY too low. So that brings up another question? Why aren't all season 1 exclusive rewards on the tracks? They should be all on the tracks in my opinion, it would help fill in more spots on the tracks and leave the token vendor for non-season exclusive stuff instead as an extra reward thing. Not to mention that having all season exclusive stuff on the tracks instead of split between tracks & vendor would make it less confusing for players and harder to accidentally miss a season exclusive reward as well.
  3. That is good to hear, I haven't even got full grade 7 gear yet to do the heroic ones, farming for fleet commendations & reputation is just taking so long. Sure I could do Galactic Starfighter for Fleet Commendations, but I have no interest in PVP and to be honest I don't understand why a PVE currency is tied to PVP anyways. The rewards for the space missions themselves do not seem very balanced, especially with the later (non-heroic) space missions taking like 6-7 minutes each to complete.
  4. All the people asking for the grace period to be lowered to 24/72 hours are completely missing the point. The whole point is to completely negate the spam inviting (with the intent of easy conquest points by guilds doing the spam inviting) by having new members UNABLE to contribute for the currently running conquest. And yes I thought this a harsh penalty when I first read it too, but the more i've been thinking about it, the more it actually makes sense that new people joining a guild shouldn't/can't contribute to the currently running conquest. As Riku said earlier in the thread, this will also disincentivize guild hopping, not to mention it also stops people already in a guild from making a dozen new alts during the conquest to make some fast conquest, then delete those alts the next week and do it all again. But first and foremost it protects new players from unwittingly being used to contribute to a conquest without knowing what is going on (keep in mind gquitting will still leave points with a guild) and does indeed force guilds to focus on player retention (which is a positive thing imo). Hopefully BioWare keeps fixing more of these conquest exploits after this as well.
  5. It can be 72 hours or even 48 hours, just all depends on what day after new conquest starts you join the guild. If you join on a monday it will be a day max (or even less).
  6. Thats nonsense, complaints about the ongoing abuse of the current conquest system has been ongoing for several months now, if anything this was a very slow reaction. Either way they are clearly tackling the issue now. I hope they take this even further and take care of some of the other elements in the current conquest system that get abused as well, including the operation mob farming by resetting the phase which is still happening in various ops even after they removed those mobs from KP a long time ago.
  7. The proof is BioWare taking these drastic measures, the simple fact that BioWare is taking any measures at all, let alone drastic ones like this, after JackieKo posted in another thread (that brought this issue to bioware's attention) that they were gathering data about this, shows that BioWare has come to the same conclusion as all the players that have been complaining about this exploit of spam inviting new players/characters for conquest. BioWare taking these measures shows they have taken a stance on this issue and I for one am glad that they finally did so.
  8. I have never heard of SMW pulling stuff like that, nor do I remember ever seeing em conquer an entire top 10, either way I don't personally care much. These guilds are the equivalent of a Zerg rush, they might be successfull now for a bit but they won't last, those other big guilds have been around for years and will no doubt continue to be around for many more because they build an actual community, these "Zerg" guilds will just eventually fade out so just gotta be patient enough waiting for them to get tired of doing the same thing every week. Even so, having an entire top 10 taken by pretty much the same guild (and it's alt guilds) just reveals the flaws with the current system and the need for some sort of update/improvement, and it has nothing to do with "sour grapes" or SMW, if it had been SMW filling the entire top 10 of an invasion target I would be of the same opinion.
  9. And this exactly where the inter-guild drama comes in. This guild has a preemptive ban list of all legacies confirmed to be in "rival" guilds or other guilds on their "blacklist", essentially you join ONLY them or not at all. So pretty sure they know most are only in it for the titles/achievements. I am neither in a rivalry with em, nor do I want anything to do with em. I am merely relaying some context of what's been going on since at the very least this last October, they are at war with multiple bigger guilds on the DM server, there have been multiple GM meetups/discussions about this situation, there have even been attempts to mediate a peace by the people running the DM Discord, but it was all for naught, and what we are seeing right now in this week's Invasions top 10's is still very much part of all of this. Either way, as I said before, BioWare should certainly take another look at Invasions, while conquest itself has been updated several times now in the past few years, Invasions have been virtually untouched outside of them adding the small/medium/large yields.
  10. The problem is any conquest points contributed by those players STAY with the guild even after they leave or get kicked. And that is exactly why they spam invite, it's not about quality or even whether those players stay or leave, as long as they contribute some points before gquitting it's already a win for the guild at that point. These guilds also have alt guilds targeting medium & large yields. Most weeks for months now they get 2 out of 3 invasions targets (with Stroke My Wookie usually beating em on the third invasion target). Also chances are that the ones you saw on other servers are actually also these guilds, they have a presence on multiple servers. And they do have a monopoly on the conquest planets, as a matter of fact on Darth Malgus theres been quite some drama involving this guild for the past 2 months or so, ranging from harassment of other guilds to them exercising their monopoly on the conquest planets to dictate who does and doesn't get to join them for the achievements/titles (people known to have alts in guilds on their "blacklist" not allowed naturally). It's gotten so bad I've actually seen people forming groups for stuff on fleet actively excluding guildmembers from these guilds in return (not something I personally approve of). Either way, conquest has seen a significant overhaul in last few years, it is probably time BioWare takes another look at Invasions as well. The system as it is now doesn't really do much to promote fair competition (even if just amongst bigger guilds) when it usually just ends up coming down to who can get the most chars to stand on flagship spending all day crafting or the most people to farm adds in EV.
  11. They are neither of those things, they are notorious for spam inviting new players on the starter planets.
  12. Welcome JackieKo^^ I am now co-running the guild that I got ninja invited to 3 years ago. I have my own made up backstories for all my characters, my main character called Kara is a Jaman (half-Human/half-Jawa) Sith Lord, and she is the star of the SWTOR videos I make for friends & guildmembers. I even made a whole documentary about her earlier this year called "Jaman: A SWTOR Documentary" (it's on youtube ). I'm spending my days crossing off achievements and looking forward to the new content coming very soon.
  13. I understand why you guys are doing this, but this will be really annoying time for us EU guilds who have our own in-guild conquest reward systems, I don't think anyone in our guild is even playing at that time. The screenshot above the anniversary event literally displays new things XD. New Hand of the Empire/Task Force Nova Banners and Posters with Artworks for Onslaught/Jedi Under Siege. But I guess thats not the kind of new things you hoped for
  14. Would be really cool if this was possible, would be really interesting to see the tools you guys use, also might give a better understanding to why certain things are in-game as they are. Even the very detailed write-up on the guild flagship disappearing bug was really interesting to read. Reading about how you guys desing npc models and their outfits was cool too, but I would love to actually see those tools in action .
  15. I can only echo the same sentiments again that were already expressed in the previous thread.
  16. I would love to see an official stream having you show how you take the screenshots/videos whenever new cartel market items are released giving us a behind-the-scenes look at the kind of dev tools for screenshots & cinematics you got access to . Actually some behind-the-scenes streams could be nice, seeing how stuff in the game is made (not that the behind-the-scenes interviews on the site arent nice, but it's different between reading an interview and actually seeing how stuff is made). But yes the virtual cantina was really nice, would be cool to have stuff like that happen more often, especially since many of us SWTOR fans aren't from the US.
  17. If more unique rewards on the calendars isn't an option, how about adding the possibility of some unique drops/rewards from the crates/packs that are rewarded for the 7th day log-in rewards?
  18. As I already posted in the Sand People Comp/Rifle thread before I saw this thread, I will say the same here. I'd like to see a Gaffi/Gaderfii stick as an usable weapon too. The model (albeit an ugly one) already exists in-game used by the Sand People npc's on Tatooine. Though im sure they could create a much nicer looking one these days.
  19. I think they could at least make the actual friend list legacy wide so we won't have to re-add all the same friends for all our alts. I totally get the privacy concerns people bring up, so maybe having an universal friend list for all your alts instead of a seperate one for each of your alts might already please a lot of people (myself included).
  20. Yes I agree, a version with a normal blade would be very nice. Some might argue that the Vile Primeval Ardent Blade’s Lightsaber (still available as a drop, though extremely rare and very expensive on the GTN) still fullfils this, but that saber is only usable by Dark IV characters, leaving Light side characters without any options.
  21. Add a Gaderffii stick as an usable weapon as well. The model (albeit an ugly one) already exists in-game used by the Sand People npc's on Tatooine. Kinda surprised there isn't one yet already, especially with there being 3 official Sand People armor sets.
  22. You are completely missing the point, for most people this has nothing to do with wanting to artificially look like dark side Revan from Kotor 1, it's all about having a standout undyeable bit on what is an amazing looking CM armor set , with amazing parts, which in turn affects it's use as part of custom sets. Making it fully dyeable is not a "disservice" to those who want a version that keeps true to the LS version, as that version is the base undyed version. The moment you apply any dye to the set at all it will no longer be "true" or "authentic" to the LS version anyways, so by your argument the set might as well be completely undyeable. If they released a Dark Side Revan armor set true to it's appearance in Kotor 1 and made the metal parts undyeable I would still complain about that. First off, great way to insult a large chunk of the player base, I would love to see and judge these amazing outfits you apparently have on your characters. Also, not listening to the many people who buy the armor sets from the CM is totally a great way to run the CM. This is nonsense, the discussion in the other thread was civil, people just did not agree with you. Thats your opinion, and I disagree with you, I think they are worse off for it. Bastila Shan chestpiece has an ugly patch of reddish/brown leather at the center that does not dye, even though the other leathery parts do dye, meaning that with many dyes the game offers the chestpiece looks horrible. Similarly the Rohlan Dyre set, which I actually think is a pretty nice Mandalorian set, has that blue jumpsuit under the armor which does not dye at all, again making any customization of that set almost impossible (except for a few dyes that look good with that blue color). Leather gets dyed in the real world all the time, I don't see why the art of dyeing leather shouldn't exist in the Star Wars universe.
  23. Taste has absolutely nothing to do with this. With a game selling EXPENSIVE PREMIUM cartel market armor sets designed with the purpose of people using either the full set or parts from that set for their own cool outfits, I don't think it is unreasonable to ask for it to be fully dyeable. Many of us do like to mix & match sets to make our own custom outfits. Having a big part that doesn't dye at all will really limit its use regardless if people want to dye the full set to be a more accurate Darth Revan from the KOTOR games or use specific parts along with pieces from other armor sets to create their own cool and unique outfits. EDIT: not to mention many of the best dyes are also PREMIUM one-time usable dyes from the cartel market.
  24. Don't forget this will be a Cartel Market set and will probably cost quite a bit of CC to buy, so I don't think it is wrong to ask for them to fix a part of the set that currently cannot be dyed. And let's be honest, Darth Revan is kinda THE centerpiece of all Old Republic era characters.
  25. Yes I agree, the new Revan armor set on PTS looks absolutely amazing, but having an ugly brown part that doesn't dye at all only ends up clashing with pretty much all potential dyes which in turn really limits this armor sets use.
