  1. According to BioWare, my monthly sub is worth less than a raider's. So I'm taking my money elsewhere.
  2. Except that you if you need to run the Oricon ops you can find 7 people every day for 8 man SM. On the other hand you are lucky if you find just one person for the Macro H4.
  3. You only need to run the new flashpoint to see how bad this change is. Believe me, you will remain in combat with mobs under the map, you will /stuck in combat, die and respawn under the map then struggle to get back to ground level. Stealthers offer a workaround with this kind of issues, people /stuck, stealthers stealth and rez people. Problem solved. Now: nothing.

  5. I could understand the complaint if it was an operation that was no longer touched by the player base but the thing is that a lot of people still run it. Try to get a group for the macrobinocular H4 for instance...
  6. Can you complete your personal goal on only one character? I am genuinely confused because I completed my goal (100K) on one character. I brought a new one to PTS and it already has 125K/100K... Edit: Nevermind. After checking the original character on my server it actually had that much CQ so the points simply got carried over to PTS.
  7. Tried first solo and gave up on the first boss as the uncleansable DOT was too much. Tried it again in a group of 3. How do you feel about the boss balance? I wouldn't say it was a walk in the park (maybe a question of gear), I run a healer and had to work hard at times but nothing impossible. First boss was definitely easier in a group and the DOT was much less of an issue as we shared agro. Second boss was very buggy, it took 3 tries to finally figure that we shouldn't get too close to the boss (as in not stepping past the force field that protects him once it is down) because it kept resetting the fight. That's where I had to work hard on heals and use the kolto stations as I kept pulling mad agro from everything. Bonus boss was very easy, maybe too much? I can't even tell if there is any mechanic to it, just pounding on each boss one at a time and they were dead. Last boss was very confusing. He seemed to pull us to him and we were insta dead, I don't know if this was a mechanic that we did not understand or if he was bugged. It took 3 tries to decide to "cheese" him, we stayed behind one of the blocks near the entrance of the arena which avoided his pull. It took a bit for him to decide to come and we basically fought behind this block. Also he kept repeating the same lines over and over and over and over and... over again. How do you feel about the trash balance? It seemed fine to me. Their number was acceptable, it didn't feel like a chore going through them. Strong and elite mobs didn't pose much of threat. Are you experiencing any functionality issues? If so, please explain in detail. Dieing makes you respawn below the map. Our first issue occured with the second boss after we killed it, a group of mobs kept us in combat (located at the "core" to the right of the entrance), we couldn't see them, I guess they were under the map. So we /stuck it and respawned below the map. It took a lot of effort of holotraverse, dueling, /follow, etc. to get us back on ground. Same issue with dieing on the last boss, we respawned below the map. Are there any friction points that hinder your progress? - Respawning below the map. - The mountain stairs, on the way to the last boss: knocking the mobs is a bad idea and could easily end in a situation where you can't target them and kill them. Are the objectives clear and easily understandable? No issue finding my way and notably figuring the key thing. How does the pacing of combat feel? No complaint. You can mount in most areas, you can avoid some trash mobs. Trash is not overnumerous and not annoying. Please give us details on your experience with the stone stair segment where you need to traverse a tight path with enemies and other area dangers. It felt refreshing. Didn't have any issue with the hooks. We strongly refrained from knocking the mobs to their "death" as the first group almost had us stuck in combat. I actually look forward to see how MM looks as I guess the AOE will hurt even more. As a closing note, except for the annoying bugs, the adds that either keep respawning or that can't be seen and keep you in combat, rezzing under the map, the flashpoint looked interesting to me.
  8. I first transferred one character (I have all 4 buffs) and I was concerned seeing the other 3 buffs duration still going down. I then transferred other classes, created my Legacy on PTS, I was again concerned when the buffs ran out as only my class buff remained but after travelling to a different place all 4 buffs were back (with no more timer!). So all is fine except that you can no longer buff a group, especially with people lacking buffs.

  10. Good luck with your failure of an expansion. Personally I'm out. I already gave a second chance to the game after a 3 year hiatus and coming back last year. There won't be a third chance.

  12. 3rd day in a row that Belsavis WB shows up on the mission terminal. 3rd day in a row that we can't get our kill and advance our weekly. Are you aware that there are only 7 days in a week? 1 more Belsavis and we're left hoping that it never shows again our we will never have our 3 WB kills for the week. This is gross incompetence at its finest. REMOVE THE BELSAVIS WORLD BOSS FROM THE POOL OF DAILIES.

  14. They do. From time to time I still go treasure hunting for these crazy achievements and I am not going without them. You get a narrower arc that makes it easier to pinpoint the location.
  15. I think that this is part of a different issue where you get gear intended for another class in your group. I can't count how many times I got knives/scatterguns with tanking mods on it. The master loot change has completely messed up the gear distribution, you're not even getting the gear that was intended to another person (I mean the tank clearly would have never got that kind of offhand), it just mixes your gear with mods from another person, sometimes that means with a lower rating if you have someone with a lower IR in your group.

  17. Fairly certain that the missing achievement is from the easy cooking missions which are supposed to have 4 different dishes, not the "hard" ones. Heck this is why hiding that kind of achievement is UTTERLY STUPID, and it is hard to remain polite. No one has a clue what to do.

  19. Completed GS on 2 servers and never spent one cent on it, on the contrary I earned double the amount of CC with little effort. Not sure what this thread is about...

  21. Or pick up the mission from the heroic terminal and be teleported near the cave. There's less story to it this way but you still get it done.
  22. That would explain why I have seen so many DPS standing in the middle in HM, doing nothing, since vet LI was added to groupfinder. They seriously need to stop having different mechanics between modes, vet and story should just be about lower HP and lower damage. People run vet FPs then queue for HM and obviously won't tell they are not aware of the mechanics as they think they know them.
  23. I am not going to cry over Master Loot gone, good riddance. Still, loot distribution needs some work, my op healer got no less than 3 tanking pieces of gear in a MMFP. Like why am I getting tanking mods on a vibroknife? If I set my loot to a certain discipline that's not to get pieces I don't care about (especially when ops/scoundrels have no tanking discipline to beging with!)
  24. I am convinced that they don't understand the code behind customizable UI, from the previous teams. None of the additions in these last years, conquest, the social bar (that will never stick to where you place it), etc. can be customized and I doubt it will ever happen.
  25. Unless they changed it (haven't done this in years), OP must have missed the [HEROIC 4] tag. While it can be undermanned, soloing might indeed be challenging.
