It was badly handled. These servers should have been reserved to the guilds from the Pre-launch Guild Program and locked to anyone that was not part of the guilds prior to the deployment and - because I see you coming with that lame excuse ("I want to play with my pals") - people who were not invited by these guilds at some point, which would have require the guilds to be open to new membership past the deployment.

Alt+T if no mistake. But yeah I know this has been asked over and over since beta and I can't understand that they have never implemented this. How hard is it? If we can get Assist, how hard was it to get Target of Target? I can't believe them when they say that they are MMO players...

And what about simply being disconnected from the game for any reason (crash, connection issue, etc.) and having to queue again? There should be a grace period of a few minutes that allows us to get straight back into the game.

The mouse droid is a companion, the training droid is not. Period. You have to activate the training droid for every enemy because it disappears after a few seconds, so it's closer to an ability than a companion that you won't even use because you have other abilities to use. Then, quoting the description: "A small but advanced training droid to hover at your side for combat assistance." Where is the assistance? Honestly I was not expecting the droid to add DPS or at least nothing really worth it, but what assistance is it actually providing? What I expected was nothing but some information on the target, like for instance the special attacks that your target can use or its weakness, that was the assistance I was expecting. The way it is right now it doesn't assist in any form.

Yes you can. RIFT did it, once again. At some point later after release they changed the CE mount so that it matches the speed of your best mount. Which means that you still need to buy an epic mount at lvl 50 if you want your CE mount to reach this speed. So at lvl 50 your CE mount doesn't end useless and you still have to pay the same price as everyone else to be able to get the "epic speed".

Honestly I believe that Slicing is a must have till you reach higher levels when you can drop it for UW Trading. The credits that you get are more than welcome and help you fund many things. Besides slicing missions are the only gathering missions that actually turn a direct profit: the lockboxes that your companion brings back actually cover the expense and give you some extra credits.

Regarding the mount there are workarounds. Trion did it right with RIFT. CE owners get a mount, quite common feature. It doesn't freely upgrade as you level up: it actually matches the speed of your best mount which means that you still need to spend money for a better speed. It is fair for everyone, CE owners still have to pay the same amount than regular players to get the epic speed but they still can use their CE mount. It's the same issue with the crystal, there should be a way to turn it to a vendor and pay for a better version. On top of that to remove my CE crystal from my first pistol in order to get it back I had to pay 200 credits (which is a lot at a low lvl), nice move, thanks I guess? That's the point: everything we get becomes obsolete with no possibility to upgrade. No one is asking for free upgrades, we are just asking for upgrades. In the end, all my CE goodies remain in my lock unused since it is taking room in my inventory (this also is an issue). The only thing that will be put to use is my vehicle.

Full servers should no longer be considered as opened to create a character unless you are already guilded here or part of the guild pre-launch program. At least till the population starts to be really spread out between servers. It's kind of harsh but when a server reaches the full state it should mean something: you are not welcome to create a character here.

Cybertech / Scavenging / Slicing Cybertech IMO is a middle ground between gear and consumable so it's not a bad deal. It's not always useful while leveling since you can outlevel your craft quite easily and get better rewards but comes lvl 50 I'm sure it will be great, you will always need to get some new mods and such for your new gear to fill up. I'll probably drop Slicing at some point in the future (lvl 50 I guess) for Underworld. It's a nice source of income for now and I have hope for some schems but utimately I will likely need the extra resources from these missions...

Got 2 accounts. DDE pre-ordered on Origin on July 21 and CE in a local store on August 10. It took me some time to make my mind about the CE but I was not eager to cancel my DDE as I was sure it would delay my access for the Early Start. It has cost me more but it looks like I was right, 1st account is eligible to play but I still haven't received anything for my CE account. Given that people from July are still waiting, I seriously wonder when August pre-orders will get in... Looks like I will have to redeem my CE key on my DDE account hoping that what they told us is true and it is possible to swap keys this way
