  1. So many decorations that are a pain to obtain. I feel sorry for the new players who would like to decorate their strongholds.
  2. I HATE that stupid mechanic. It is right there with Traitor Among The Chiss that is nothing but a slogfest on anything but a stealth class. The reason? The Inrokini Enforcers that pop a shield making them 100% immune to damage for an eternity. And they are mixed in every group of enemies.
  3. Had the same issue playing through Steam as well (though it was not only Balmorra but a bunch of pants all over the galaxy) and actually did the same thing. But now every single time I start the launcher I have to accept the End User Access and License Agreement. Do you have the same issue since you verified the integrity of game files?
  4. What? So the reason the chips are NOT bound to Legacy is... because the rewards are? That's actually what makes their design even more stupid. If you can freely share your rewards across your Legacy, there's no reason for the chips not to follow the same logic.
  5. I started farming GS daily on a secondary server 2 weeks after my main, for extra Cartel coins. Now that I hit lvl 100 I am actually considering a third server even if I don't hit max level on that one.
  6. That would already be a good start to fix a few issues.
  7. I wouldn't say that I don't like what I heard from the planned changes, wait and see, but I can't say that I am excited about them. It seems to me that it is the continuation of the general loss of identity of the game that I have seen through the last years. It started with many quests, especially dailies / heroics that used to have a quest giver and a turn in with some convos that added flavor. Now it all comes down to getting an heroic from a terminal with an auto-completion for the majority. Then it was companions losing their identity, especially their specific roles. Bare a few exceptions, some companions having their special abilities, for the most part they are now completely interchangeable. It seems that the next step is class identity.
  8. If you check the planet map, the location won't be shown. Nothing new, it has always been the case with planets like Coruscant or Nar Shaddaa where you have to use a taxi to travel from an area to the other one. If you head to a taxi, click the droid, a green arrow will tell you the area you need to go to for a quest.
  9. The real culprit is the Emperor machine giving 50 Kingpin chips so often. Now I'd rather get these chips than more Golden Certificates or yet another Wraith. Anyway I don't see that as an issue, Kingpin chips are the ones that can get you Emperor chips. And also, Why do you have to reach 0 chip? It is not like they are taking place in your inventory...
  10. The initial idea of Nightlife was a credit sink, i.e. to remove credits from the game (provided it no longer is, even with Kingpin chips at 75K each, the Emperor machine giving 50 of those regularly kinda changed the rules). It wouldn't make any sense if all you needed was one lucky roll on one companion to get it across your Legacy. You want another one for an alt? Pay the price and land another lucky roll.
  11. Another heavily Sith themed expansion... Basically the only true neutral content was launch, with class/planet stories, then EV and KP. Even RotHC that started as neutral (Makeb) took a Sith turn with the continuation of the Dread Masters storyline (Oricon was part of RotHC). We had a bit of a break with Revan then it went full Emperor storyline for years. There was the opportunity to do something with mandos between Shae and her Nemesis and the hype around the Mandalorian series. And don't the Jedi have secrets to unveal too?
  12. It is not only Vaiken, Carrick has the same issue. Video: Basically, you are greeted with a "Press spacebar to continue" screen, as if you entered a stronghold for the first time with a cutscene (the fleet strongholds don't have cutscenes by the way, not sure if this is intended), but it happens all the time.
  13. Can you get the new mount from the machines as well or is it only to be purchased? I was glad to get them on one of my very first rolls. I like them too though the flashy glasses could have been toned down a bit.
  14. You know what? I am even expecting my weekly PO that were progressing just fine (3/4 SF matches, 1/3 vFPs) to be reset after the maintenance because they just break things like that.
  15. I keep saying this but it is hard to think otherwise when we hit the 2nd anniversary of these issues: there are literally 2 devs left working on this game. 2 years later after this thread and the volume is still as low, NPCs still knee deep below the stage, hell I can't even access half of the secondary hooks of the decos because they are under its floor. Nothing was adressed.
  16. Respawn timers for mobs is one thing but what about ridiculous respawn timers on clickies? Someone mentioned that pub heroic on Taris where you have to click a ship in open world before the rest taking place in an instance. This click easiliy takes 5 minutes to become available again when you arrive after someone else. How does that make sense?
  17. Imp Taris has 3 entirely instanced heroics: The Fathers of Taris, Last of Tarisian Pirates, Highway to Destruction. All for yourself.
  18. Pick 3 instanced heroics. Problem solved.
  19. The two persons left working on this game have to agree on who needs to take care of this.
  20. Indeed. Loyalists get to scan areas and destroy probe droids. Saboteurs just need to plant spy droids.
  21. This is one of the reasons why I play with music turned off now (that and I can't stand the character selection music anymore). The thing is that other sounds than music will also keep playing. If you do space missions (not GSF, the rail shooter) your ship has some rumbling sound that will keep playing even when you are out of your ship. And it sticks through login on a different character, so if you want to get rid of it your only choice is to restart the game.
  22. You should check your Collections, under Promotional Items. You should be able to get a copy of the medal there.
  23. Ultimately there are plenty of ways to get things done, it doesn't change the fact that there are optimal ways. Since we're talking Rakata, it's the same thing with the first boss fight, I have had people arguing that it doesn't matter who dies first. While it is true, why would you kill the rancor first when the chief has less HP (thus dies faster), has the annoying mechanics (fire + root to be cleansed) and is the real damage dealer because of the fire he drops (and the tank actually doesn't need heal since the rancor deals so little dmg)? Why would you kill the rancor first when the chief cannot be taunted making the tank useless past its death? Same thing with the last boss fight of the FP. It doesn't really matter who dies first but why would you kill the sith first when the trooper has the annoying mechanic (the AOE that can't be overlapped)? Why would you kill the trooper last when he cannot be taunted, so you'd end with an enraged boss going at random people. And there's the third solution of killing them at the same time, but then again why would you deal with the annoying mechanic for the whole fight when you can get rid of Darok first and when the tank can totally survive an enraged Arkous, which also means that the healer only has the tank to keep up past Darok's death? Sometimes I have the feeling that people get the wrong impression about boss fights because of veteran. I can't count how many groups I have seen killing the main boss first instead of the droid in MM Cademimu because this is actually the way of doing it in vet since the droid dies with him. I am not sure I have run vet Rakata but I guess that people have the mindset of it doesn't matter who dies first because of it. Yet when you run MM you have the luxury of having a tank keeping the only boss that can be taunted busy, that's not to make them useless by killing this boss first. So yeah, you can totally do Commander Rand without LOSing the adds, it still doesn't change the fact that there are better ways of dealing with them.
  24. This is the sad truth, lots of players, the ones who are actually clueless, take it as an insult when you explain mechanics or effective way to do things. I am thinking of one tank in MM Legacy of the Rakata. At Commander Rand boss, since he just rushed into battle, I asked to LOS behind the pilar, which he didn't care for. At the end of the fight, I explained that if everyone LOS behind the pilar, every add will come and pile up there in a small area so they can all be AOE'd and since the boss also jumps into that place you don't even have to move. I wasn't calling names, calling him a noob or whatever, just explaining a more effective way of doing this boss. And he felt insulted, bragging that he ran this FP enough times that he knew how to run it, posting his 25 HM runs achievement... from 2020. Too bad, he started the e-peen contest so I replied with mine... which was from 2016, adding: it's 2021, guess how many more runs since then. Even when people think that they know how to run a FP, because no one actually never taught them how to, they don't realize that they can be wrong and refuse to listen to advices. But once again this is 2021, whatever you say, no matter how you say it, people take it as a personal insult.
  25. True that. I see decorations dropping regularly in MM but you are competing against other people. I have done my 25 story runs as well for the achievements and now you are competing against terrible RNG, you are lucky if you get one deco at all. I have run 4 characters so far through the solo-story version, which grants a chest at the end with a guaranteed deco... I got a useless small pile of bones each time. Secrets of the Enclave is a bit better though, even in story mode. I have accumulated quite an amount of columns, tree, rocks and whatnot so far.
