  1. Thinking as dense as this is the reason why people compare this game to wow, because since its release many games have followed suit with its "features" noticed how I said "features". you'd have to actually go back 7 years to find a game that didn't have guild banks, working friendlist, matchmaking, pvp brackets, customizable UI when the UI is this fail, working raid frames, half as buggy, fail gear stat itemization, poor end game, 4 classes, no dual talent system, no macros, I can go on. Aion, Rift, WAR, AOC, ROM, PW, a plethora of NCsoft MMOs, a massive amount of F2P mmo's released with more "gameplay" features than this game, that want's to release as if it were 2004. Maybe if it did they wouldn't have had a budget huge enough to spend 199 million dollars on 500,000 spoken lines of dialogue.... They could have spent 50-100million on making kotor 3 and could have done the gaming world a great service instead of giving us a great disservice and pissing on the entire gaming community with this so called mmo. Maybe, just maybe 1.2 will bring this game back from the verge of F2P because even if it was F2P the issues and lack of features would be appalling, but then people could be like hey "its f2p" like they do when games like this are released. this game isn't worth 15$ a month because it says starwars and bioware on the cover.
  2. Haven't you heard... Logic is not allowed on these forums!!!
  3. I'm appalled... that it seems week after week we get the same questions, that have been ask not just in Q&A, but that can be found on any fansite for this game. It's the same thing. For the GRSA's I thought this was discussed long long ago and was in game at release, or the ability to have same sex romance outside of story. I also find it rather cantankerish, that with GRSA being #1 and Legacy #2 we lacked info on both. It's like they have to answer 10 questions and they choose to answer 1, half!@# another, and 8 are coming soon, somewhere down the road. If you copy a game, I guess that doesn't mean you copy the transparency though right? You want 1.2 to be a surprise? well sure by the time it will be released, it will be a surprise as to how many people have left. you want to keep people playing? give us a reason to other than wait and see.... word of mouth will spread quicky people who left might be willing to resub now or at that time if design fixes and features are slated to be in the patch. This games launch success and success overall just comes from sales... Aion had at one point 4+ million subs worldwide, fast forward a few years later and it's about to be truly free to play. Bioware/EA only truly want to keep 500k subs because that's what it will supposedly take to make the worlds most expensive mmo as far as advertising and gaming development, to be profitable, along with 6+ years of dev time. if 1.2 doesn't hit before my subscription runs it's course... I'm not coming back until its free to play next year... the first 100 days is approaching and it's not a good sign, we were told march would apply 1.2 and judging by how tight lipped these devs are it very well may at the earliest be march 31....
  4. These forums are the real PVP, I haven't too much logged into the actual game for lack there of.... Imperials are the ones on these boards who have logic, use statistical analysis, understand gaming concepts, know what and do whatever it takes to win. Republics are the ones blinded by fanboyism, don't compare or relate this game to anything released in the past 5 years (I mean why do that?), believe that if they hold their butt cheeks really tight and pray really hard, This !@#$fest if a game will actually become gold. All republics can say is "Why are you here then? this game must truly be great" I'm here because I want to be on the forums, heck if I had known this would be the end product before I went out an bought an extra two months.... I wouldn't be here... and if 1.2 doesn't pan out I like many of the imperials on this board will leave, taking a huge population of once jaded jedi with us. Oh wait (dumbitdown) you do see I've been talking about the forums this entire time in regards to imperials and republic right? We all know if this was some random company, with a random new IP it would have bombed, majority play it for saber combat... and lore... but like lucas has always done IS F IT UP... HAN SHOT FIRST!!!!
  5. Play an MMO? The majority of the people who are left, who aren't considering leaving, and that are defending the game, enjoy it for its non mmo bits... they just will roll alts until they have all 4 classes leveled to 50 twice... The legacy system will be nearly useless by the time it's released, they could have added bits of it and updated each week as they continue to do things little by little. It's suppose to make the leveling experience a better one more tailored to how you want a level. Now when it's released you'll have another 5-10 skills that are more than likely useless, and a bunch of pointless passive. Guilds are just extended friend list, I wouldn't even go to the extent of calling them linkshells, at least those you can swap and change out. By the time a casual player reaches level 50 PVP will be such and imbalanced playing field because gear has been taking long and longer to get... Am I complaining that I want it easier no... the problem is the increasingly longer time it takes to get up to being competitive and helping your fellow team. full set took a week or two in the beginning, now currently its nearly a month or so? by march it will probably take a few months. PvP not only needs Brackets for leveling, but also... matchmaking (its been around since 2004 with the release of Halo 2)... A valor 10 shouldn't been a game with 90+s... game will be on it's last leg by march anyway and without the inclusion of cross server warzones which many are avidly against, this will cause an up roar in the community regarding queue times.... but hey guess not everyone wants competition. PVE is just more and more frustrating, from bugged bosses, to bugged loot, from faceroll mechanics to cheesy mechanics that don't instill difficulty just promote an RNG factor... Full quest log at 50 you can't delete quest from and your only option is to go to each planet in hopes they are completable. A customizable UI at least with movable playerframes (health bars, portrait, action bars, minimap). Far better search function on the auction house, by the time you can type in the name of the item your looking for, there really isn't a point, since you have to know the location, type, quality, and level, of said item, before you can even type the name.... Far better more real-time updating raid UI More graphic options like bringing back turning down viewing distance..... thats a HUGE!!!!! resource sink for many players that want to actually play this game. non technical people don't wanna spend $1500-2000 to play this game at more than 10fps, because if this remains unavailable, along with turning down some of the spell effects, wouldn't let anyone not running a dual hex core processor motherboard, with quad xfire/sli 590/7970s, having 128gbs of ram, SSD's in a raid 0, with an OC-768 internet connection pull more than 8fps on ilum and without skill input stuttering/lag. I can go on but hopefully you get the point
  6. This is one of the best articles I've read to date on these forums. I'm just going to say there are some people in a great state of denial, Spouting how successful this game was in terms of sales at launch, which was an inevitability. Thing is this game hasn't to much changed at all over the course of the beta's things where broken way way way long ago and went live, companion issues, un-removable quest, raid frame updates, UI, combat mechanics, PvP balance, faction balancing, They patch this game every Tuesday (sometimes), and what do they fix? Two patches to address the ability delay and it's still lingering, they fixed Ilum because they had to it was pretty damn game breaking valor rank 100 in a few hours? Look at the patch notes, 1.1 they introduced half of a raid that they had "been working on for over a year" really!?!?!?! if content is going to take that long to develop that have stuff in the stables just holding on to it like I feel Bio-ware has been suspect of doing for ages. This game is dying, people just want to believe that its not, retention rate high? republic side 120 on fleet (fake server display at very heavy) and planets just get less and less, like no more than 15-20 people on planets starting at alderaan, don't think I've seen hoth or the planet before it with more than 10 people during peek hours on a Saturday. I like a vast majority are giving this game until march were they promised us great things (that should have been there at *********** launch) guild banks, Legacy system, PvP brackets, UI customization, hopefully addons or macros or both.
  7. CC is out of control, you can be knockdown (3secs) and double stunned for 4sec (8secs) then silenced/interrupted (4secs) leaving a window of 11-15secs of you unable to do anything. Snares seem to not be on the resolve so feel free to kite all day, Resolve doesn't seem to work for immobilize or roots. Now most classes don't have access to many of these forms of CC but then again some do, some can pull an insane amount of burst and some can't. Put it this way interrupts typically silence or lock that particular spell for 4 secs and in PvP situations most and the majority do, spec to lower that CD of 8secs to 6. Knowing what to interrupt and what you can let go, what to stun, and CC can really close you down to doing about 2-3 abilities over a 20 second period, which in this game is forever and your most likely dead long long long long before the resolve bar fills up. Also if you don't notice already the CD of our escape ability is absurd 2mins compared to average of ~30sec to those abilities.
  8. All I can say is LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL ROTFLMFAO AHAHA ROFL SMH. Someone call Sam Worthington to help this noob, Jonah Hill can do better bro.
  9. False information is false..... Overall population in wow has always been balanced, server balance is another story. Currently US pop is Alliance 1.2 : 1 Horde. Nothing like in this game where its maybe overall Rep 1 : 4 Imp. I blame the promoters of the game, They had the option to do far better than bending the republic over at every turn. the republic are losers, no matter how much they would have been favored to win, we know the outcome. The promoters of the game, which could have dictated history with where they chose to start.... but they chose to put republics backs on the wall from the beginning, so all it is, is a decline from nothing. Who truly can care about the story-line in a game like this when they are limited? The imperials will only seem to get more powerful and more bad-***. They aren't allowed to take the game into a different direction, the games on rails just like the space combat, and that's the sad thing. It's our fault we all have delusions of grandeur we want this game to be so much but it theoretically can't be because its a prequel. If they chose to make this game a sequel then they could have been able to shift the tides back and forth, New classes could be introduced with it making sense, alien species, etc. etc. What would you do if you saw your entire life played out for you from birth to death? and you were dealt a bad hand? no living it to the fullest. But yeeeeeaaaaaaa..... my 23 cents and a biscuit.
  10. Well it's odd that they don't have macros in this game, that has to be a very innovative first in the last 7 years of MMO gaming to not include them. Macros can be done with hardware... People saying "No" to them give no good reasons as to why not, and any reason they offer is of no consequence to them. It seems too that caster dpser's with a limited amount of abilities are the ones screaming no. They have never healed a raid, PvPed, Played Melee in PvP or Dps, never wanted to exceed there base potential. I use roughly on average 24ish Keybinds, that i've used for roughly 3-4 years, so well in muscle memory. One thing I hate is redundancy (why do I have to press 7+8+9+0 to pop buffs that have 1:30 and 3:00 cool downs?). People saying No to macros are the ones opposing addon's which are coming regardless. They are afraid of assessment. They come from games performing far below average and It seems as though swtor is the only game without performance assessments to let people know they can be doing better. They don't want their gear to be assessed by people trying to pug raids and they are fresh 50's with greens, they don't want to have to play the game at a competent level, so they aren't allowed to alt+tab and *** to *insert random material here* while on a boss pulling far below their worth in a raid. Why is it a bad thing to wan't to be able to perform better? to alleviate redundancy?
  11. Well when I read that post, with the line "The magnitude of the delay varies with a number of factors, including processor hardware, but can, especially on dual core CPUs, result in a very perceivable reduction in game responsiveness." of course it will make some people such as me who have 4-8 cores and some machines with multi-processors feel like that comment is a slap in the face. I have 6 cores and play this game at 100fps on max settings, ability woes were constant and consistent enough to warrant a stop payment on my subscription. Setting abilities to activate on release instead of pressing seemed to help out a bit but still responsiveness is well below any game I had ever played to date where lag wasn't an issue. If this indeed fixes the software issues I was having I could possibly consider resubbing.
  12. No just people with ATI cards are acting stupid... I have a 6950 and if AA is being forced or enchanced it will override and display better than what is offered by the game. Heck I can force 64x tessellation and 24xeq edge detect with super sampling with Morphological Anti-Aliasing, the game looks damn purrty but i go from 199fps to 2... The in game option has nothing to do with any of that be it on or off.
  13. I know that with subscriptions looming only a few days away, the state of the game is a huge topic. For the first time ever in the history of myself playing MMO's, I was unable to rush to max level etc. etc. the first month (life got in the way) and for once I'm glad that I didn't, because I have much to look forward too. I came across this article http://www.***********/2012/01/12/swtor-rise-of-the-rakghouls-update-1-1-to-hit-servers-next-week/ It outlines the future march patch which addresses my strong concerns with the game. It's the launch of a game, so i'm not naive enough to have some grand expectations of flawless and bug free gameplay. Where my issues are aligned is with actual --->>>features<<<--- missing. Graphic options were missing and some were disabled- Anti-aliasing, viewing distance (wish we didn't have to see to the edge of the planet and with that option gone now, it holds some of my friends back from playing the game), UI moving, etc. (use hotkey's to not have to stare at my action bars at the bottom of my screen, but when health is there, resources, and enemy HUD is there too.... it feels like I'm defeated in that regards already. Features announced- Legacy system (some people might have the 4 class story-lines played through by then... then what? and Guild banks. Full fledged PvP brackets- 50 is a great start for January but 10-19, 20-29, and so on, would have made PvP a much more enjoyable experience for all. I can see why they did it (people who rushed content would have been unable to do WZ's especially the republic, would only be huttball). Alignment options- The sith have by far the best options, kill them or let them live, understandable, to be a bad republic you have to agree to kill little children, starve colonies, forcibly exile people off a planet they inhabited first and are just trying to survive??!?!?!!? I'm saying sith has better moral choices ie. A guy kills a sith's wife 2 dark choices are kill him, kill him and his entire family, or defeat him and send him to prison for light, all three you get redemption, Republic would be two light choices of offer him Bu77Secks, or your daughters/sons hand in marrige or lifetime of servitude, or dark side would be to say something like thank you, I didn't love her anyway because i'm not allowed too..... I spacebar all conversations now because of the horrible choices I have to chose from. Faction balancing- They had to have seen this coming, they made the sith totally and utterly bad!@#, I switched to playing republic only to hear how they are a severe underdog, exactly as they were in the original star wars films. We all know how it begins to end!!!! -_- why couldn't the republic been shown at release to have a massive upper hand but with signs of cockiness to the sith? where we can see the balance shifting instead of starting off in overdrive pedal to the floor? I wish there were 8 distinct classes instead of 2 variations of 4 and then 2 variations of those... with how detailed the storylines are I doubt that could have happened and doubt we will see classes released in the future... to release one they would have to theoretically release 4... huge developing mistake on their part (my take on it). Maybe down the road we get given the option to defect (paid option of course)? much better sounding for story and easier imo to manage. Every storyline I played has people defecting in it, so possibly there's a fix to balancing jedi being out matched 4-1 and in extreme cases 8-1.
  14. Dude I had Tears reading your post and the ending was WIN.
  15. Original poster is so JADED, how many other classes have you played? do you have a 40 in something else to compare all this too? You say it fine but your playing the only spec THAT WORKS.... why? because it's damage is not mitigated by armor!!!! so you seem to have only played JK/sent and you've played the only spec that allows you to somewhat play to your full potential. Answer me this... My bladestorm when I specced combat tooltip said it would deal 450-550ish damage, on top of an extra 10% from "opportune attack", and be 100% guaranteed crit while in trance... tell me why it would crit for 316 damage consistently? tell me why slashes on normal mobs deal 2-300 when the tooltip says 300-400 plus having near 40% crit chance as focus and an additional 6% damage?. I debated for the past 30mins of replying to this post because it's hysterical. It reads and I swear i've seen the exact same title last week, with a guy saying he wears 2-3 purples updated constantly, has a biochem friend that gives him pots, and has money enough to blow on the AH to make sure he is in the latest of attire. I mean seriously? the game isn't hard..... It's one thing if the game is hard and everyone feels it but the melee light-saber users are the only classes that do feel it. ARMOR OF MOBS NEEDS A *********** NERF!!!! You know what Death from above. Fusion missile, explosive dart, and sweeping fire (i think) do? THEY ARE AOE, at level 30 DFA does 700-800 damage to each of 5 targets 2-3 times i believe and knocksdown reg-weak enemies, Fusion missile do 500-600 damage and CC reg-weak enemies same way force sweep does, Explosive dart some 500ish damage Aoe that knocks down mobs, sweeping spray deals 200-300 every second over 3 seconds spammable and guess what... knocks back. know something else? all have range... BH has aoe knock back as well. Starts off level 1 with a healer companion and gains heals himself, Has a 1min CC, and can snare. The damage he deals is tremendous in comparison to a JK/Maur, all from range... class can CC, AOE, Off heal, and put out high amount of damage. damage cycle consist of an average of 2-3 buttons the rest are just situational icing on the cake. I can go on... but as I said before JADED. everyone that complains comes from another class and possibly for the same reasons i did rerolled JK and are seeing a massive difference and throughput, and we have some **** junkies tell us to l2p when these people honestly need to get a life.
  16. I've been using my a razer naga (currently Epic) for the past 2-3 years. using shift as a modifier for being able to effectively hit 1-9 with ease gives me 19 functions with 2 fingers (Right thumb and Left pinky). Binding mouse wheel up and using shift modifiers with that plus unbinding my strafe and reply Q, E, R gives me a great load of assets plus I have the anansi keyboard which I haven't gotten around to using effectively after having it over a year (in most mmo's though I use roughly 26-30 keybinds at will in muscle memory. I can boast accolades achieved in other games but why? I say all this because I know How to play video games... and I feel i'm quite good at the ones I do play, I've even gotten paid to do it. What I hate on these boards are for every 10 people that say something is off with the class you get the 1-2 maybe three saying all is fine and dandy when there are huge issues. I have both a 30 JK and a BH. VASTLY different play-through in terms of what I felt like when i played each class. I take on a strong and and 2-3 weaks and im walking out of that fight with sub 30% on my JK. on my BH I can put pet away, /dance, and walk about with less than 5% missing without healing myself, I can go as far as to say without being touched. My companions take less damage than I do, with far less armor, Kira can hold threat off me pretty well if not specced watchmen. Fact, at level 20 on my BH with using tracer missile I was able to consistently get 2.5k trophy in WZ's, at level 30 on my Sent, it's happened once. Tracer missile alone trumps everything in the Sent arsenal by a long shot maybe except for the final saber throw ability and it's gotten at level 20. DFA crushes Aoe and the spray aoe with knockback is spammable. as BH I have 1min CC off heals, and if specced to heal I'll bet I can out dps, out cc, all while keeping the party alive as a bounty hunter. I rerolled for the sake of being someone who wanted to do something on there own about the current state of sith vs rep representation on servers, it is horribly overwhelming. That being said, go to the PvP boards and you will see that we aren't as staples of the star wars IP even a factor, darth vader and luke would be laughed off tatooine by some random blaster pistol touting smuggle with a kick to the sack and a quick shot between the eyes. Joking aside the class may be fine, but there are tooooooo many bugs that effect its gameplay.
  17. Believe you missed the point of that post entirely..... you looked at damage numbers and went cuckoo. He obviously was showing class representation that he's seen, which has little and in his case no scoundrels at all. Funny thing we I see post like this all classes talk about all other classes except the 2 major ones that are the basis of this games entire existence, just saying. It's funny also that the OP's here keep asking for people to come with arguments and people do and the ops reply is either get gear or your doing it wrong. Kind of defeats the purpose doesn't it? what if said opener was on a 2min cd to match classes trinkets? that way the person will now have a choice to sink or swim? Oh right! you would cry foul. it requires only that you be stealthed an you do have a vanish, as some have said which allows you a redo, or double open for maximum lawls, in which case i'm sure you'd as you have stated see it as a waste to double open.... and why is that? because it only takes the good once? to use it only as a means of escape is a failure... coming from a (lets leave that outta here). being able to guarantee a healers death in a group battle every two mins does wonders for changing the tides. Should I digress though? This game has stole the design, implementations, and concepts from one of the most (leave the rest to you). That being said QQer's will get what they want... all non-ops/scs believe you are op which looks like 90%? of the player base so a nerf is in the works your just in denial... having some high hopes that devs will read this and feel sorry for you.... Look at slicing.... that's what you have to look forward too..... This game has a long way to go before it can actual begin to balance it's issues, it's lacking also the tools in which the consumers ( subscribers) can use to actually show proof). Thing is you arguing a null issue. do you think they want 10million subscribers? of course they do which means more people leveling on a consistent basis. Which means if you see a lowbie you better avoid it. This game is here for profit. You don't spend some 150+million to have 600k subscribers stay true 3-6 months out. Whatever road you need to take you take it... that's the lay of the land in the video game industry. I've said all this, which you may take the wrong way, to say the nerf bat is coming... why? because the population dictates the success of a game....it's a democracy and therefore ops/scs lose. if you needed to gain 3-4 million fateful subs and nerfing 10% of the population would allow you to grow to that level... as a game developer would you? you can say probably not, but as a developer published by >>EA<< who already forced you to release a game 6 months ahead of schedule... you will, and do it happily.
  18. HAHAHAHA I almost went in on you with that first line hahaha, but I was like it has to be massive sarcasm or complete and utterly oblivious so i kept reading and now i give you praise!!!! EX-MOTHA-FU**IN*ZACKLY!!!!!! this is the single most expensive media ever created, and they are hoping for it to be a gain, its going to take possibly two years from them to recoup the losses and stop the financial bleeding and make this game a profit. do we as players have that kinda time? to stick with this game? AION for example hit 4million+ players I believe in it's first month, extremely long Q times and probably one of the most successful launches of an MMO similar to rift, small problems persisted. with that I'm going to ask if nothing changes in this game by your subscription date will you renew? how about if they fixed some minor things of no concern but the huge problems continued would you go again? after the third month? how long will it take for your patients to run thin? In 90 days I watched aion go from a high amount of equal players on both sides (because they implemented that), to closing servers, and dead city streets.
  19. I agree with a lot on what has been said here. I say and have stated in other post that their should be exp incentives its the only thing that will prevent this game from dying off. most of the people who are 50 in pvp gear Rushed it. Only thing for me rather is the main story-line that is the icing. Just doing that on my main I found myself 3-4 levels under my story-lines level. In most cases being of low levels prevented me from pushing my story-line which I stopped paying attention to on my alts, because Id rather be getting exp. (they brought SW talking home in this game lol). Whatever the case, 99% can agree that there are somethings that has to be done in this game or it will go bad in record time. Games fail from the little things, and the little things here keep growing. IMO Pvp system as a whole needs to be overhauled combat is anything but seamless, spamming a skill can put it in a loop, auto turning in pvp (fail) especially when some classes have positional requirements, clear understanding of how to play some of Warzones at least a tutorial of actually gameplay would have been nice rather than picking up the huttball and being raged at, some skills should be off the GCD timer imo i.e 2-5min buffs that provide short duration effects ~30secs, i can continue. This is a war game and one that has taken from the most icon fantasy IP's in history, the combat mechanics, fluidity, system, and meshing should have been top notch and above all else far before paying voice actors, and creating the first single player storyline MMO
  20. I know the game is still new, but there needs to be some balance among the server in terms of sith and republic. We all saw the CGI vids and in all of them showed how BadA the sith were. I'd suggest double, triple, exp and reward weekends, to compensate those who may feel like switch for this cause and to help sway them for their loss. They were clearly forewarned years ago when they opened the forms and guild creation and it showed that cleary a ration of 8 guilds to 1 were going to be created at launch and no counter measure like games such as AION took to balance a world in conflict by limiting what side could be chosen on a server. The results of this choice to not do anything regarding them have all but been catastrophic. PvP for sith results in nothing but huttball, I can't even remember what the other mode and types even where. Progression will be all but dead for everyone but the hardcore dedicate who had friends/guildmates that made the decisions to role republic. the economy on both side are being destroyed, inflated prices for lack of items on republic and minimal gains for the work done for sith. Why aren't the AH's shared? sith and republic dwell among each other i thought? good or bad credits are credits. I can see how this would apply to games such as wow, aion, rift, etc. because those games are worlds dimensions apart. I like many want this game to succeed but we all know its about 3-6 months from now that determines a games success. hype will get you subs at the start but your game determines staying power. swtor is packing little to none and is in the same boat as rift, aion, aoc, warhammer, etc. these games didn't fail on promises but things they were lacking that gave them staying power. the games forgot to be fun and enjoyable. Thing is swtor has all the pieces to become truly great, be it rushed by a loaded blaster pistol from management as EA or families being held captive at lightsaber point. this game feels like ideas weren't full realized, huge pot holes exist in not the implementation but the execution of things. The unforeseen elements are here, and its been two weeks, a lot of people try games and give them the free month for them to fix things. all games on my list pushed content instead of fixes which lead to their games demise, don't fall into that same pull of venom. fix the game first then move on. show that you actually care about what you crafted and not just used the IP. if this game wasn't star wars branded how many people would even be here? because its not an epic game that overshadows them all, without the star wars brand and the bio ware tag this is a hollow shell. this game is capable of giving both brands a horrible name.
  21. I want to tackle some of the things I believe the OP wanted to capture. Thing is most of the ways to fix this game are DESIGN changes, there's a huge difference in bug fixes and changing a games design. so what some people would love to see most likely isn't going to happen (some games have done a complete overhaul AOC and Darkfall). I love the whole mass effect/Kotor style conversation choices but this game feels like that in a much smaller scale. It feels like i'm playing mass effect with only side missions (choices don't truly matter like they do in single player games). Back in mass effect I loved the dialogue choices so much I ran around talking to every NPC i could. I didn't know I could get tired of it until Swtor. I rush level an in the back of my head after about the six hundredth conversation, It hit me that... i'm not getting exp spacebar spacebar spacebar... I would love to have seen or see them normalize exp to something like; 1000 exp per quest no matter the level 100 exp per dialogue choice mobs give 10 exp. that way you actually want to go out an explore this games million lines of dialogue and rich voice acting right? do we honestly need to have 1,000,0000,000,000 exp needed to get to the last level? but get 100,000,000 per quest? Don't give mobs levels (kinda sorta). the difficulty was enough, play with that aspect. this would let a level 38 do quest on a level 25 planet with friends who are 18 25 38 47. instances could be where levels mattered? combine blizzard/bethesda (wow/skyrim/fallout/oblivion). still on questing, I said it feel like mass effect on a smaller scale is because choices don't truly matter, companions aren't going to die from me choosing a particular options. They could have just had the what 20? companions in the game or a random companion generator, and have let them die or be capable of dying through the story. there is no loss in this game. OK the whole this game doesn't cater to the hardcore (at all) has been realized. If your "rush to 50" its not much more than just leveling in this game. you don't go out and physically do slicing runs (save the fun stuff for the off screen npcs) you can't go to a major city and make your own armor. For people to say they like this games crafting system means they don't like having a crafting system at all because you take 0 part in it. crafting take a hot key and 3-4 clicks and everything happens behind the scenes. if there where little cut-scenes per quest to see your npc succeed or fail be some kind of reward. pretty much it's just keep your companions rolling while you sit in town waiting for a Queue to pop or get into a dungeon group. PvP; way to drop the hutball. for the devs responsible for that system please fire them, create a forum post giving people their names and addresses, along with close relatives information so we can cut off the fail ideas at the source. Excuse the rant but serisouly who thought "AYE GUYZ LETZ PUT LEVEL 10S IN BGS WITH LEVEL 50S HE HE EEEEEEE HA HA" yea that could work just turn the hp and damage up. don't consider the fact that core abilities that play of the entire talent system on become available until level 25 and finally 40. Oh OH lets put in a pvp stat that increases and decreases damage so that anyone below level 39 just gets melted. Pvp does feel fps based not the pace but the gameplay. ending it here... work. some people like being better than average hence the concept of the term average someone has to raise the bar above fail. so raid frames that don't work... sure someone can get by but eh..... excuse the errors and spelling
