The first sentance in your post makes me think, in the hypothetical scenario, that I am PvPing for fun. But then the rest of it makes clear I am only pvp'ing to grind gear. On a side note, that XP is only sorta wasted. It still goes to your Legacy (which I'm assuming might one day matter or at least be neato). And ya people that leave once they realize they aren't going to get carried are really annoying. Also not that smart since you still get Valor win or lose.

No, I'm saying I can't mount on the orbital stations. Which I believe everyone that plays thinks are just a time sink hassle. Just what you're saying in the second paragraph. Orbital stations aside, I think the fleet is a good idea. Much better than lagging the **** out of the capital planets/cities like pre-fleet in beta. I would jsut like to avoid it if I can!

This. the Fleet has gotten to be the laggiest place in game, I would love to not have to go there. And really, I dont' see all the orbital stations lasting. Games always get easier/streamlined, and the extra travel is really a pointless time sink only to add a tiny amount of immersion. Or at least just let me mount in them!

a) you're doing it wrong. Hutball is the best thign to happen to instanced pvp. b) roll republic. Your server is one-faction heavy, and huttball is the only same-faction warzone. Play the other faction and you'll get a lot less huttball.

I don't know if the class needs any more buffs to it's utility, but its a shame a I didn't use that technique more in this video. The "slingshot" where you push an enemy to the spot you want to be at, then leap to him. Anyway thanks for the comments so far!

Ya goto that file, change Fullscreen=true to Fullscreen=false, from there you should be ableto fix it in game.

Are you kidding, bolstering is the best idea. It is better than lvl 19's one-shotting lvl 11s by far. You have a disadvantage vs much higher lvl players, but they are still completely beatable. edit: I'd also advise trying it before theorycrafting about how bad it is and never giving it an honest chance.

My clannies and I all pretty much would prefer to roll republic for the target rich environment. The problem is 70% of republic gear looks absolutely unforgivably terrible.

I think more people didn't give it much of a chance than actually didn't like it. No, it's not a SWG/Wing Commander space clone. Its a Star Fox space clone. Doesn't mean it's not fun. And ya, I dont see how they could put PvP in it.
