  1. Got this recipe 3 weeks ago. Was broke then. Still broke. Sucks they screw up so much!
  2. Since the patch, I can no longer add points into the Deception Tree. Of the ones I have tried, 3 of the skills cannot have points added to them - they are simply blacked out. These are on tiers that I already have skill points, so there shouldnt be an issue. They are: Crackling Blasts (Tier 6) Static Charges (Tier 5) Saber Conduit (Tier 4) Also, the game will allow me to add a point to Insulation (Tier 1). However, when I click COMMIT, I get the following error: FAILURE: ATTEMPTING TO ASSIGN A RANK TO DEATHMARK THAT EXCEEDS ITS ALLOWED MAXIMUM. All I got was a generic "Thanks for the bug report. Sucks for you. If only we tested patches on the patch server..." response!~ UPDATE: today I tried adding points to the other two trees and I'm getting the same error. I'm afraid to respec as I'm concerned I might not be able to add points at all. Has anyone else had a similar issue or figured a workaround?
  3. Im level 38. All I do on this toon is PVP. Have 1000/1000 PVP comms and am looking for a way to spend my comms. So, the only expertise available gear at this range is the weapons which have 8-11 expertise in a mod - enhancement. Question? Would it be beneficial to buy 5-6 + weapons solely for the expertise enhancement which I could take out and place in all my other slotted gear? Is 60+\- expertise Vs. everyone else's 8-10 give any advantage in PVP? TY
  4. Add purchasable blue pvp gear for new 50s - problem solved. Nubs get their expertise. Battlemasters keep their hard earned gear. Why is nerf always the solution? Nerf biochem 2-3x, INSTEAD of making the other professions more attractive/viable. Nerf high level pvp gear instead of creating a stopgap solution for new 50s. I don't get it.

  6. These ideas are great.... But, Does anybody see the inherent problem with implementing a bracket system too early? More impossibly long queues, anyone? Unless there are 2v2 // 3v3 BGs then I don't want brackets any time soon. When 50-only BGs hit our server, we went from BGs all day long to 1-3 hour queues peak and nothing off peak. Can you imagine what 60+ valor 8-mans would be like on low-mid pop servers? If BW insists on pushing this out before pop catches up to this system, they should at least make brackets "rated" and allow us to queue for both rated ans normal BGs at the same time. //SOAP / RASH
  7. Yeah, I am just chasing an official response from BW. The PVP random gear token champ bags are a disaster but BW has agreed that this is by design. I hate it but I'll deal with it. If, however they have consciously decided that raid level gear will be passed out randomly, I'm outta here. I don't mind losing a roll to someone else that needs the gear, but to give it to someone that doesn't want it while someone else needs it.... That's just retarded.
  8. So, we started running normal operations this week to learn the figs in preparation for hard modes. We down a boss and everyone is excited to get some loot. Then wham! To our surprise, we can't choose who gets what. Master loot doesnt work and We can't even roll on the gear. Evidently, BW has decided they will choose for us. So, Jedi with Columi pants gets gets the Tionese pants (downgrade) while the Jedi with blue pants gets nothing. The healing trooper gets dps gear, while the dps trooper gets healing gear. The dps trooper with rakata bracers gets tionese bracers, so on and so forth.... What I want to know is: What is BioWare's stance on the normal mode looting system? Is this considered a bug? Or is this the way you intended the loot system to work? For many people, games like this are all about the "carrot and the stick" - the constant challenge of getting that next piece of gear. I just can't understand why you choose to give the "carrot" to the wrong person... //SOAP
  9. Since the patch, PVP BZs are non-existent, and for all practical purposes PVP on this server is dead. Evidently, this is a med-low pop server as it become nearly impossible to get a pvp match on Republic side in under three hours of queue. Even during peak hours it takes over 2 hours to get a game. All the while, the imps are playing Huttball and getting better gear. The BZ wins Daily/Weekly are impossible to get as even if you get into a game or two in a day, the Republican side usually looses close games due to being so overwhelmingly out geared. So, they get 2 daily bags, 1+ BZ comm bag, and a ton of valor while we are stuck with the Ilum armament treasure hunt once a day to try and get gear. Please admit you rushed the 50-only bracket on lower pop servers and roll this back, or implement cross-server BZs ASAP. The longer you wait to fix this, the worse it will be. You will lose more Republicans to Rerolling Imps or people just canceling their accounts. //SOAP
  10. I'm not complaining that the "best gear" (and it's not) should be easy to get. I am saying that the "best gear" (T2 pvp) is actually easier to get a full set than the T1 pvp gear. I believe getting the PVP T1 just shouldn't be a matter of luck, as it is now. I believe that if you and I both win the same number of matches with the exact same score we should both have the opportunity to get the same gear. That is not the way it is now. As it stands with the bag system, I may get a full set off a lucky run, while you may get nothing except a few comms.
  11. OK, so you hit 50 and want to start pvp'ing for fun and some gear. Hope you have plenty mod patience. To get the champ gear, you need to buy champ bags. 2 PVP dailies and a Half a day of doing nothing but PVP will net you 3 champ bags. Odds are you will NOT get a gear token in any of those bags, but if you do, ODDS are that you will get tokens for gear YOU ALREADY HAVE or the useless Pvp trinket. Why is it do damned difficult to get a full champ set? I mean At this rate, I will have hit 60 valor BEFORE I get even my 4 piece set bonus. This makes all that work for nothing, as most people will start collecting Battlemaster bags before 60. And since you removed level 50 blue pvp gear from game, this just seems a retarded way to get pvp gear. You are allowing the Battlemaster folks buy any gear they want, when shouldnt it be harder to get the BEST PVP GEAR IN THE GAME? Also, wha-ta-fruk is up with merc comms? Why even have them except to complicate the gear system? I mean you took out the open world pvp chests and the high level nodes, which was the ONLY reason to even go to Tatooine. And you don't get any comms for Ilum, so since I'm on a PVE server, those things are completely worthless. Why not make it simply 800 pvp comms to buy a bag? Why do I have to first convert 600 to mercs. Queuing.... 1) why can't we queue with a full 8-man group? 2) when we queue as a group, why do we drop group coming out. Then have to drop solo queue. Then have to regroup. Then have to requeue? Experience at 50. I average 15k experience for each BZ at 50. Why can't some of that wasted exp convert to "bonus" valor or something? PVP mount.... Seriously? 4000 pvp comms for a mount that is equivalent to 1.5 mil mount? That is approximately 50 pvp games and you are giving up 8 chances for tier token. Seems ridiculous. Deserters.... Right now, people queue up and check out score. If we are losing, they just /AFK out and try again a couple mins later and suffer NO penalty. Send them to some random planet in the middle of nowhere and give them a deserter title for an hour, making it so they can't requeue. Match starts.... So many times I'll queue into a name that only has 5-6 players... Why can't it wait for a full group to start? Or at least, even teams. What else did I miss?? /Soap EDIT: for clarity, typos, accuracy
