  1. With free to play coming I wouldn'T keep my hopes up. Sadly. Had some plans with some of my characters.
  2. As mentioned before me: Satele Shan's outfit If not all armor to be adaptive that would be boring and absolutely chaotic, at least a few more. I'd think about the LS/DS vendor, with the alignment reqrement. Some white armor could be if not the white piece itself, but RE-d and learned from it. And most importantly: let some mix between the factions. So my mercenary companion(like Akavi, mentioned before me) can wear actual mercenary gear and not Havok Squad armor all the time, an imperial agent can look like a smuggler (and not like an imperial officer- great for undercover work ), or a DS jedi like a darkside (and back). I don't really understand the point behind the items have different models with the factions. If you designed and made the models and maps, then use them.
  3. Se isn't ^^° Many things I don't like in the TCW series. Sometime it's so much kids' show that hurts. Like the robot episodes at the beginning at season 4. Sometimes the plot device is way too strong, situations the characters should handle singe handedly escalates into full trouble just becouse it serves the episode. Mostly this problem goes to the Force. Once it's stronger than anything an episode later almost useless... And while the show sometimes too childish, in the next episode Asoka jumps up, swing the lightsabers and three mandalorian heads roll off, a village and its people gets burned by flamethrowers... O_O I just don't get what audience the show is aimed for? But overall it's good. Better than some EU books I had the "luck" to encounter :\ I DO like Asoka. I LOVE the clones, they are great. I always liked the republic era, seeing cities and civilized life in the universe, not just back alley deserts, forests and swamps, or military bases and spaceships. I like the way the characters portrayed. Obi-wan's sense of humor, Anakin is not whiney or emo, Rex is plain cool. The dinamic between the characters are also great. I like the little nods in and out of the universe, the small hints of the not so distant future. The less "children's" episodes. And the way the whole series has that dark undertone becouse we all know what will happen very soon.
  4. If story mode Terror drops rakata, looks like it's time for me to forget my set bonus (have full rakata now). I don't want to do HM Denova or Terror, I feel a little too old for HC raiding. Story modes, even the level of Denova (by the way, hard to belive that it's for tionese/columi gear) are fine, and fun. But thats the top for me. I didn't buy the black hole yet, I wanted to keep the set bonus. But I really want to get off that set, make my own look, change something after months of play.
  5. That's my question also. Guess rakata since that drops from previous story modes or black hole. But Explosive Conflict story mode also needed that. So some clearence would be fine.
  6. I hope I don't make a mistake and cross any rules by posting this, but I really-really want to promote this wherever I can. The Pink Five series is maybe the best fan-film I've seen of star wars, and Stacy become my second favorite character in the Universe. Even with the fact that it's just a joke, I can never watch the battle on Endor again without laughing For years, her saga was incomplete, and now there is a chance for reach the finish. I hope it will work.
  7. +1 on these. But as an own list: facelift on the republic fleet. Plants, holotrees, kiosk for the tradeskill vendor... etc. Some life! Use your planets! They are so good, shame that after a few level there's no reason to go back. Daily quests, and scenarios, high level areas on. Spaceports... the way Coruscant or Dromund Kaas was done right. No elevators and broken up place. Why is it different on Taris or Tatooine?
  8. Its fine that if I change my sub to f2p it gets downgraded. But what if I don't pay in a month becouse I plan to level up some alt character and concentrate on the class quest (so don't want to play operations or warzones)? I can't use my full inventory and cargo hold? And what about the legacy (characters and perks)? And I know it's not a question but wanted to say: 14EUR is fine for access a game. But I think it's a lot for only get the unlock parts, and called 'premium'. Mostly when the game's clearly best part, the story and class leveling is free.
  9. Or you can just download it: http://www.swtor.com/info/media/trailers/hk-51-revealed
  10. Hi-res textures ARE in the game since 1.2. From close (where it counts and you really are see them) you get the same textures than in cutscenes. Some of them are not too nice thats true, but they are in. Those who always complain about graphics should check out some videos about other mmos. Of course there are the FF14/Aion/Tera and such korean stuff, but those are a different kind of animal, I think no argue there. The shadows are weird, that's true. But it's not general, some areas they are clear and sharp, in other places blocky as some 8bit retro. I guess that's some bug in the engine, and let's face it, absolutely not in top of the priority list. The other parts. Were promised, will be. I can list multiple dozen things I'd like to have in the game, from the start, but what for? The game is only 6 months old for goddess' sake, and it got way more updates in that time than any other mmo in a year. Grow up, and get it into the head: resources are NOT unlimited, there are priorities and work orders. And the classic: "patience, young one".
  11. Can we expect anytime a facelift on the republic Carric Station? Nothing major, only putting in some holotrees and "real" plants, carpets, flags and neons so frequent on the imperial counterpart? And a booth for the Crew Skill Vendor. He just stands there at the fence... Really, the difference between the two is painful, and could be corrected with just placing some of the enviromental pieces already exists on the other station.
  12. Yes, yes they do. Of course not in gameplay mechanics, the two factions is balanced and mirrored. And I don't care minor differences. But if you check the polish of the sides, the fleets, sets, species, "coolness" of the ability animations, etc. there is an obvious imperial bias. Sadly
  13. Yes the shards are not all available pre-level-requriment. But that doesn't mean the system is useless. First of all you don't have to go linear through the content - whatever some people say. So when you start Taris, grab the green dhard and can go back to Coruscant whenever you want to make the cube. You can always make a direct journey for the shard, into yet-undiscovered areas if you really want that cube. But even if you go strictly forward, getting the shard when you reach them in your questing, atill worth it. At low level, you most likely won't have any other relics, or if you do, the Shard relics are most likely stronger. If you manage to get the lvl15 cube at lvl20-24 it's still great to use, not grown out at all.
  14. Thanks, that helped. I didn't think that since I alredy had Corso maxed out without any problem.
  15. For me Risha loves Cultural Artifact, Underworld Goods and Luxury the same. Not favorite but do the trick. Luckily they aren't so rare and with 3 types, can be leveled nicely. On the other hand she seems to be bugged for me. I leveled up her affection around 5500 with the vendor gifts and few specials. Had a lot of dialogues. But nothing since. And I'm 9400 now, not a single line. Did I made something wrong, is it bugged or I just pull her to 10K and done? O_O
  16. Is there any optimization plans on in works for the game client NOT to require administration rights to run? I don't mean any ETA or exact plans just is it on the table or regadred as just fine as it is?
  17. Since I see all around that we should use the suggestion box if have some idea so here it is, my pain regarding the Security Key. The Physical Key is not available. Some say it is for the US customers but SWTOR being an international game and a lot of european and asian/australian customers it's not really appropriate. I don't know if this is intentional or just a bug, maybe Bioware wants to drive people to the Mobile App. Upgrade the android version. I't s ugly and clearly just thrown together without any care. It should at least looks like the iPhone promotional picture on the security key page. This is not just aesthetical whime, the numbers are too small to easely read, also some grouping would be nice but with clear, big numbers, not necessary. Make that the keys can be cancelled or disabled (keep but turned off) through the website. Not all of the customers are living in the listed countries for free phone calls, and international calls can be a real pain. And this is an interned based game, the websites handle payments so they should be able to handle some security key too. There are the passwords, the personal informations, the secret questions for ensuring security about the key. And this is 2012 for the goddess' sake... The mobile app should have a generated code, identifying the app itself. A code to write down, and when the app is reinstalled or reseted, the code is written back to the new/reseted app and it works as the old one. Mobile phones are not safe devices. They can be lost, borken, stolen, they need to be reseted, reinstalled. On android there are multiple rom versions to chose from, and sometime the owner want to try out a few before decide which to use. Also after upgrades, it's best to reset the system. Also people change their phone from time to time, even apple users, when a new model comes out every year. With a simple code, all these problems would be solved and people wouldn't nagging the Customer service all the time. Enable multiple keys for one account. Seems pointless but a physical key at home is nice but logging in from another place (from a friend's computer for example to show something or start a quick crew skill queue) a phone app is nice. Also multiple keys can help if one is broken or lost, the owner still can log in his/her account and not locked out. That's it from me. Seems that with the release of the mobile apps, the security key feature is just checked out as "done". But it's still far from that, the state it is just a bone, the most basic functionality (it works as an additional security layer but no support or handling at all). I know that the game has maybe more serious issues and this maybe not the most important thing now, but I think account security is important just as the convinient and user-friendly support, and setting. And it doesn't ends with "you can turn it on, now get lost and be happy".
  18. I don't agree on getting the speeders sooner. With sprint from level 1 and the upcoming legacy option for speeders from level 10 its more than needed. But I DO think that the speed difference within speeder levels should be higher. The Basic +90% is good, but rank2 would be nice around 110% and rank3 around 125%. Wouldn't be game-braking but still noticeable steps. Right now I had hard time to tell when I switched from my rank1 to rank3.
  19. From previously known planets: Dantooine. I'd like to know how things turned out for the settlers and the jedi enclave. I'm not big on always visiting the planets from the movies, even less for such remote and unkown ones like Dagobah or Yavin. But a real jungle planet would be nice. A real old, tropical, overgrown planet.
  20. I'm generally satidfied with the options, great job. But now that it was asked: - Size for the secondary windows. Now they only affected by the global scale, so wether I have all gui elemens scaled down, or have to set the size of almost all elements one by one. - Resizeable windows. Mostly the vendor windows, where the lists can be too small sometime. - More compare and tooltip info. I'm thinking about already known crafting schematics, or orange weapons from loot. Or a compare window when inspecting another player... - Making the buff/debuff area customizable. Only show relevant/own debuffs, or style. Would be easier to follow how procs and buffs going in combat. - Color options. The ideal would be an rgb slider, but if there was a red, green, yellow, option beside the blue, it would be great. and a very personal one: - An option/shift-button/spec-mode for casting the target circle AoE abilities right to the target without manually setting the circle itself.
  21. I voted all above, becouse the more option the better, but the priority should be on flashpoints and heroic missions. Operations handled mainly by guilds anyway but it's nice to have a way to organize pug-groups if some need of it. Also, I do NOT want to be teleported onto location, the flashpoints are already on the same place anyway (I'd love to see some classic flashpoints, when I have to go "on foot" to the location. Makes things more real). The Group Finder only should be helping to form groups and people to get parties easier. The one in Aion works just great. The players still have to communicate, the system isn't automaticly put groups together, just makes visible to all what groups are forming for what quest/dungeon. Or who is looking for others and for what activity
  22. I created a ticket on this, and was told that it's working as intended and I should make a post in the Suggestion Box. I want to have my main one ally and one rival, also 2 siblings, and I hope she'll have a spouse sometime in the future (companion family, and some new romancable companion I actually like ). So the fact that I can have only 2 of [sibling, spouse, ally, rival] seems strongly limiting. I'd also like to see option for parents. I understand that the family tree's base point is my "main" character, but if the relative timeline is already messed up (the characters kids are training and adventuring the same time frame as the parent) one of the alt could be the parent. As making Luke to the base of the Skywalker Legacy, not Anakin.
  23. I have 8 characters created (not played all) but for "legacy" reasons I'd like to have at least one more I don't really want to delete characters becouse I want to play trough all class stories on the long run (I'm not hurry anywhere, planning on years to come). But also, as a family tree, and RP reasons, I'd like to have one more char. "*deap breath* problematic..."
  24. Would be nice to have a document for it. Seems my main can have only one ally and rival, now I can add only children and adopted children. Also, no parent option (I know, but if I make a character later I want to be the mom/dad, would be nice to be able to). Another part that is the legacy tree itself has any meaning to the game? Like one character can inherit different things form a parent than an ally (and what about the kids to the parent)?
