  1. There are currently no other scifi mmo's out there worth playing. All of these other games people keep talking about, Diablo 3, Guild Wars 2, etc... none of "those" can draw me away from the only current scifi mmo out there worth playing.

    I agree. With the right team, most of us can do well with any class. If my Sage or Gunslinger has guard or, at the very least, a healer, then they do a lot better. If my Vanguard (tank) has a healer, then he does much better. If my Commando has a tank guarding him, then he does much better. I think each class can do so much more for a team if he at least has a tag-team partner!
  3. Agree. It all depends on your team and who you are fighting. If your team supports you and your role, then you can do very well. I do not think we have much burst, but overall, imo, we do pretty good.

  5. I get it quite often... and mostly in Alderaan Civil War.
  6. They go too far on majority of the "fixes" they put in game. Healers healing too much in warzones? Ok, let's nerf their heal potency... but wait, let's also give heal debuffs to classes so they heal even less. Players complaining about pvp comm grind? Ok, lets remove Centurion and replace with Recruit. Let's also give fewer comm's at end of warzones. And while we are at it, let's remove half of the weekly/daily pvp quests at 50... thereby giving them even fewer comm's. Let's also make gear pre-50 cost more comm's now that they are getting fewer comms. They seem to continuously take 1 step forward, then 2 steps back. They put in fix 1 to help a problem, but put in fix 2 that either negates the initial problem or goes too far in conjunction with fix 1.

  9. best I've had in Novare is the enemy at 100% and we are down to 2%, then we come back to win. Those are epic matches
  10. Last week I was able to buy Biometric Crystal Allow for 125k. This week, last I checked, it was 250k. But with my low-pop republic side, I do not find many for sale to begin with.
  11. Since 1.2 went live, a great majority of matches start uneven. This has been a constant issue with many on my server. And a big reason why some have stopped queuing altogether.
  12. For armor, I make better money selling pre-50 Orange gear than any of the 50 Orange gear. And that's just Head, Chest, & Legs (all augmented) for pre-50! I think it is because many do not want to wear the new level 50 gear. One reason is because, in some players opinions, the new level 50 gear looks fugly. And another reason is because many players want to look different than the next player.
  13. Should be random yes. But I gathered up over 1k of Grade 2 blue resources trying to get the Level 20 Orange Pistol Schem... this is A LOT of missions. I rec'd multiple of every single new Level 20 Orange weapon, except the pistol. Finally I sent companions out on Grade 3 and rec'd within 5 missions.
  14. I am one of, if not the ONLY Armstech that sells Level 9-47 Augments on my server. And 9 out of 10 Augments sell long before the 2day max time. I can not keep up with sales actually... because it takes forever to replace the resources used to make so many in the first place. I use 3 characters sending out for scavenging, and 2 characters sending out for slicing mats just to try keeping up. But all of this takes away from my regular game stuff lol. I now spend more time "alt-hopping" just to send companions out and craft items, than I do actually pve/pvp on characters.
  15. I tried getting the level 20 pistol schem for near a week after 1.2 sending companions out on Grade 2 missions. This was where I received ALL other level 20 modable weapon schems... because Level 20 gear/items fall within Grade 2 specifications. But I FINALLY found out that the level 20 pistol was obtained from Grade 3 missions.
  16. So they told us that we'd be able to RE orange gear. They did not say "endgame only". Now, like various things before, they changed their tune and say "endgame only". *sigh* This is getting a bit on the ridiculous side.

  18. We have over 100 servers. Right now the way the population seems to be on majority of them, I'd say we should have no more than 50. But that's just a guess. With fewer servers... more populated servers... warzone queue times would drastically improve. Add in ranked wz's, 8-man queuing, x-server queuing, a couple more warzone maps... including at least 1 larger warzone with ability to queue maybe 16-man... and PvP, in general, might start shaping up a bit.
  19. I rank the Warzones like this: Huttball Novarre Coast Voidstar Alderaan Civil War And some days I'd prefer more Voidstar over Novarre Coast. But there isn't a single day that I play and queue that I say to myself, "I sure would love to play some Civil War today!"... never!!! I do not love Huttball because I play the "right" class or classes. I just love Huttball... Football with guns... woot! Fyi, I usually play wz's with my Gunslinger, Sage, or Commando... lately mostly my GS.
  20. The devs seem to be doing little things here and there, like "greying out" the purchase price, to try getting more folks to pve instead of pvp.
  21. I understand ppl's frustrations and why some are canceling subs. But not everyone cares for D3 or GW2 and especially not Tera. If there was another good scifi mmo available, then MAYBE I'd worry a little more. But for many, and to BW's liking, there really isn't any good competition when it comes to scifi mmo's. STO is "okay" at best. SWG and SWTOR are the only 2 scifi, with ground game (meaning to exclude EVE), mmorpg's that have come out that were worth staying around for even a little. And probably the only reason both games kept as many subs as they did or have... no competition.
  22. Making a Star Wars MMO with a small glimmer of PvP available... and not expecting the Republic and the Empire to actually go to war with each other? Come on man! It's Star Wars! It's Republic vs Empire! Of course PvP will be popular!!!
  23. It really all just depends on the situation at each node, the opposition defending those nodes, and the person(s) attempting the coup.
  24. I'm not talking about the entire event. I thought that I made that clear. If not, then I apologize. The last night, enemies were camping out the jawa vendor (at least on my server). There ended up being lots of players there of both factions... the most combined number in one spot that I have seen since the Ilum fiasco.
  25. This game can not handle large pvp fights. Ilum was a slideshow. The last night of the Rakghoul Plague at the Jawa vendor on TAtooine was a slideshow. Once you get more than maybe 50 players in one spot, the game engine craps out.
