amen! i have nearly 25-30 buttons bound. The coverbar helped me put cover only abilities where they belong and only showed when I was in cover. Now I have to either get rid of other skill bound to buttons or try playing without cover only abilities.

You know, at game launch I was against “cover only” abilities. Then I seen how the cover bar helped alleviate that pain. 10yrs later you take it away? I NEED MY COVER BAR!

maybe it's already been said in this thread... am I wrong, or was that a different voice actor for Malgus? I just couldn't get past it. In this trailer, he just didn't seem menacing enough. It just didn't feel right.

I think I might get 3-6 mths more play by doing class stories with different combat styles. But after that, guess it’s back to GW2.

I love Alts. And I’ll play some more now due to being able to, for example, play smuggler with a cannon. But after the origin story is complete, there isn’t much incentive to play more. Cause if the new stories are as bad as eternal throne, I’ll play once and then not care anymore.

2021 and this bug is still around. Thank you for posting that link. Deleting that file and restarting game fixed my issue.

Unfortunately, it looks as if I'll have to get my PvP fix in other games. And just move to F2P here for the occasional PvE fix. I realize content in MMO's comes at a snails pace. It seems to have always been that way. But Bioware is beginning to remind me of SOE in the way they too became quiet and seemingly disregarding the playerbase. Then suddenly they sprung the NGE. And after that died down and the ashes settled... new content was another year or more away. So, to me, it looks like now that Bioware has sprung the F2P on us, 2-4mths when that dies down... new content will be here in 2014. I think 2014 will be the year of Swtor!

Basically, next month, over 2 months since last major update, we'll get a small piece (not the huge update they said 1.4 would be. Then a month later, we'll get the 1 new warzone map. Then 6 months down the line, we may get another warzone map. By the year 2014, we should have 5 or 6 working warzones.

Exactly. Do not think of it as $15 vs $50. With the "imaginary" packages that you came up with in your scenario's, played by an average player, all of that content would take months to go through. With the scenario in the original post, think of it as 1 content package for a casual player will take at least a month to do it all, generally speaking. So in that case, the "friend" would have spent $10 for 1 content package to play for a month, whereas subbers paid $15 for one month. Most subbers also sub for more months at a time consecutively. As a F2P online shop content buyer, then you pay $10 for that content and maybe play 2 or 3 months before buying more. It's all a matter of what type of player are you and how much will you play monthly.

Smuggler is best. Agent = Zzzz As for the Companion... what for? After reaching level 50, our companions just sit there waiting to be sent out to gather resources. A new companion would be worthless right now... unless they add the ability for Companion FP's & WZ's.

I'll buy any armor or weapon for a look that I like. I did it in STO, I'll do it here. I've switched the same mods from different pieces multiple times to change looks in game already. You really think buying a new look with $ or Cartel Coins would stop me?

I've played F2P MMORPG's with cashshops. And I did not have an issue with it. So far, I do not have an issue with this one either.

I was just browsing over screenshots of different moddable crafted armors. Armormech for republic sucks for style compared to empire armormech. synthweaving seems, to me, could go both ways, but leans more towards empire being the better choice for style. And once again, the devs proved that they favored Empire more

The great majority of all moddable shells, for all types, are not that good. Most of my characters are going with social armor mixed with other pieces instead. And even social armors need more options.

I'm good with everything right now. I have a couple of characters on my origin server still. We'll see what happens with them soon enough. As for the F2P coming, I'm all for it. I'll be staying as a subscriber though. And I'll probably even pay for some fluff stuff in the online store. I'm content still.
