If it was up to me there would be no rewards lol PVP for fun anyone?

Ok 1 hour is a little harsh.... But Warzones need some kind of punishment to stop all these WoW spoilt people from entering a game, soon as someone scores or gets 2 bases taken or Door blown up they leave the Warzone and screw up the rest of us. Also standing behind a shield in a Warzone for like 30 seconds isn't fun, find a fun way to rez and stop copying every other MMO out there!

I will also bump for you! An interesting post, trouble is not many people care or understand theory crafting, hence the low amount of replies. I agree with one of the posters above that hopefully they are basing it around future much more difficult encounters. Just give us combat logs lol

I will never get the super dooper stuff in game. It doesn't bother me that other people have better stuff or mounts. They should have, they played more, put more time in and should reap the rewards. All the people saying what does it matter to you? It takes away from the immersion of the game. You don't see people in all walks of life all the same do you? Some people work harder for their Ferrari, some are just lucky. All these aspects should and were a big part of the old school MMO culture and I for one think it still should be like that. No wonder people are constantly complaining now days that all MMOs are a pile of ****. This is because everyone is a clone of everyone else, no immersion. You sound like communists!

I have a similar machine to yours. I have also redone some settings in Nvdia Inspector to make the game look even better. I had bad time with the game at the start. I only had 4GB RAM and kept getting low memory messages, so I upgraded to 16GB (I went over board I know 8GB is plenty). No more problems. This game is memory heavy also so if you only have 4GB I would upgrade to 8GB.

Everyone loves Star Wars music! There seems to be a severe lack of it in game. You get little hints here and there but nothing like the proper full on orchestra going full on as you go into battle! Or am I just deaf lol

For me personally its failure has nothing to do with content. Levelling is too fast. Gearing is too easy. Space is a pile of ****. Everything is easy. Soulless. The list goes on for me as an old school player.

Didn't live up to the hype for me either and I have played since DnD in the 70s through most MMOs to date. This is one game I was so looking forward to and wanted it to succeed but they messed it up big time. Personally I think the MMO Genre will kill itself with all this ***** footing around getting the masses to play and destroying what an MMO is all about and it will go back to old school (here's hoping lol). Now that new people to the MMO market and yes I mean those that started with WoW (Even Vanila but mostly after TBC) the majority got what you were all screaming for, nerf this give us that, make this easier. Now that we have that, no one wants it. Were left with a pile of **** MMOs all scrapping the bottom of the barrel to get as many people to play as possible (which of course makes perfect business sense) but is destroying the very genre they were built on and people enjoyed. MMOs of today and this is for me personally are all headed in to single player modes with friends online. Arcade Games! Space Invaders Anyone?

Just dinged 50 as I wanted to take levelling slow. My first impressions of Ilum was um AE fest with no skill whatsoever. My thoughts about this game seem to be just going downhill everyday. Such a shame as I have waited since day one like over 4 years ago for this game. Did they truly mess up and head in the total wrong direction with most aspects of this as an MMO game? I am trying desperately to love this game but it just feels so shallow and a wasted opportunity by the companies involved. I will keep on subbing as at the moment this game is the best of a pile of **** MMOs out and I enjoy a few aspects of it. Space was a huge let down for me personally. Loved the Datacrons! Thoughts on Ilum?

I think the reason we see so many people complain, moan or whatever you want to call it is that this game was a massive opportunity to bring another great game out and to most they failed and as a result people are angry at what this game could have been, should have been. People that say "Don't like it, Don't play it", trouble is play what? Play WoW? Play Aion? Play Warhammer? There is nothing even decent out to play any more and I am guessing a lot of people will still play not because its a great game but because it is the best of a pile of **** MMO's out atm.

I am still on the fence. I was really looking forward to this game and have been waiting like 4 years for it. The game is not what I expected and I was somewhat disappointed in the direction BW took with the game making it seem more like a single player game than an in depth MMO. Space was a huge disappointment for me personally, the linear feel, the soulless feel I personally get from playing it. Saying that I am still enjoying it to a degree and it is a nice break from the other MMOs but it is just not how I would have personally liked the game to be. It has a lot of potential and it is early days, so I really hope they head in the right direction with the MMO element. The bugs and stuff missing does not worry me, that will all be fixed and implemented. What I do worry about is the longevity of the game and for me the immersion of the space part of the game. I will probably continue to re sub in the hope they make it a much more complex MMO experience.

I agree with the above, stay away from Alienware, your just paying for the name and for the money they are not even good, made by Dell! You will not need to spend nearly that much on a PC lol SSD as one poster mentioned are a good way to go and as he said 1 for OS and one for gaming. 8GB RAM I have a GTX580 but there are very good cards a lot cheaper. You could probably get a awesome PC built to your specs for around 1500. Are you in the UK or?

A lot of folks have gaming keyboards with G-Keys and such, plus mouses with 50 bindable buttons

The more abilities the better for me personally. I can see the problem if you are a clicker, there isnt enough room and it needs to be extended. I bind all mine so its not a problem for me.

I have never purchased or will ever purchase in game money, takes away the feeling of earning something. I am probably in the minority but just from a few posts on these forums with peoples ages and general chat seems quite mature so they may well struggle to get people to buy credits and then hopefully go back to WOW. Maybe I am wrong and the adults buy credits as well, though it is probably a younger thing or am I mistaken lol?

Funny, didnt they ban a lot of ordinary folk for exploiting and yet we no have credit sellers!
