  1. During the War, we only had cardboard boxes to play with!
  2. Maybe that was BWs strategy for tackling sellers?
  3. I agree! I havent had anything, no mail, no whispers and no spams in trade since the first week.
  4. What should we read from the lack of credit sellers spamming everything? I saw some sellers at the start for about 3 days and then it all stopped, have not seen a single one since. Have BW done something that no one else has been able to and keep them out? Have the sellers all gone back to other games as they see business dropping or not worthwhile in SWTOR? I will add, I hate money sellers and have never bought anything in all my 15 year+ gaming history and I never will.
  5. 95% of all the posts in general are similar just worded differently. Someone will come along and post something cheerful, half interesting and slightly off topic and it will get deleted lol .....
  6. Everyday I see the general forums full of people complaining and people asking for things and I think to myself they are just wasting their time. These companies will never take any notice of what's written here, so what is the point? Don't get me wrong I have also posted. I agree the other forums you can get some good information. What I would really like is to see a Q & A from devs with the ordinary public asking whatever they want.
  7. Do you folk think that these forums are pretty pointless and only serve for us to vent our frustrations on mostly with each other? I really do not think that these companies take any notice of what is complained about on forums, do you? Some parts of the forums are useful like the newcomers, pvp and realm but the general and suggestions and forums of this type where mostly whining goes on, are probably never even looked at. Are people wasting their time even posting stuff here? just like I am at the moment lol
  8. Scrap Lightsabers, we want massive water guns!
  9. True, also they could make levelling very slow but still really enjoyable that would keep people in the ops/raid brackets for longer. End game for every 5 levels lets say and levels at the rate of a few weeks per level for a hardcore gamer.
  10. Nope I know I wont expect it from any game any more. I was saying that why does the levelling part of the game and other games seem to have this notion that all the good stuff happens at end game. The reason I said low level raids is to make people enjoy the levelling process instead of rushing to max level to enjoy content. It would also give the developers more time to make content.
  11. I am speaking about the game in general and other games all seem to want you to get to max level a lot faster than is needed.
  12. Why is every recent game (well most) in such a rush for us to level? Have a raid style end game every lets say 10 levels. There seems to be a hidden rule now days whereby end game can only be at max level. I would have preferred to have slow levelling and still experience raid style game content at lower levels. Am I in the minority?
  13. Did a monkey design the timers on force fields in Voidstar?
  14. Not everything in life is easy to get and it should stay that way. Anyhows screw playing Swtor in your lunch break, take a girl out for lunch or something
  15. Dont know why these companies all want these pointless stats like expertise and resilience.
  16. I was not complaining merely asking peoples opinions. Yes investors probably made them push it out but wouldn't it make sense to either make the game how the majority of people want, listen to beta testers or wait and bring out a fantastic game making them all trillions?
  17. Firstly let me clear up that I like this game and it is a nice change but it does not make me want to play it more seriously as an MMO, which is fine. Now my questions are not meant to be a QQ, a moan or a flame! From the forums and by my own personal taste the game could have been so much better. Why do these companies not employ or do a massive poll and ask the gamers what they would and would not like to see. Now I know that is what beta testers are for. They were ignored on so many factors. Why would a company investing so much do things like this? Why didn't they ask everyone on forums, magazines and beta testers etc and do one huge poll for the game design, what you want to see, what would make you think this is the best thing since sliced bread and then implement the majority? Why wouldn't a company wait an extra year to implement everything that's wanted and as bug free as possible? Not just this company but all others also. They just seem in such a rush to get the game out, which to me always seems to backfire. Hell even 2 years ahead so that they have a 1 year head start on content and can release it without pressures when they feel it is the right time. The public is not going anywhere so why rush stuff, not listen to beta testers and release a game with so many people disliking stuff, when they could have listened to the vast majority and made a fantastic game. A whole MMO on the side for space, pvp, raids, galaxies and planets yet to be undiscovered. The mind boggles with the content that is possible with space. For those who don't want that, add an element where by they can still play space as it is. Use the cantinas and put space sims or arcade machines where by the person can do the same thing or keep aboard ships as a flight sim arcade shooter. Everyone's happy. Can a company not wait and implement everything that people want to see and make trillions with a game? Are their investors so pushy that they have no choice? They will make the money they invested probably just from sales of the game even if it fails after that, so why not bring out something superb instead of just good? I just get the feeling that all this can be avoided and wondered why they still plough ahead and do it? These are questions I am no expert on, so i could be wrong on a lot above. Just wondered if anyone else has the answers as to why the people buying the game, the beta testers and general public are not more involved in the creation of a potentially massive game? Thanks
  18. This is with all on max and some tweaks also to the graphics card for better graphics. i5 2500k overclocked to 4.6ghz SSD GTX 580 16 GB Vengeance RAM Fleet - 28 - 112 Warzone - 15 - 80
  19. Trouble is when 2, 3, 4 people leave at once and the places don't get filled right away, which is normally the case and the other team has an advantage to get some scores in. This often happens and when the new people join they see were losing and then leave starting a never ending circle of leavers with 2 or 3 people left trying to win.
  20. I agree with you in some respect there is some people that will leave for legit reasons, but I would bet my house that 95% of the leavers are the people that want to steam roll through everything get gear etc and not actually joining a game win or lose for the fun of it.
  21. A lot of this stems from damage metres. People just trying to top metres AEing everything in sight, breaking CC, not checking the actual game. Why do we need damage metres in War zones?
  22. Mate I have played every type of MMO from since the 70s on paper lol No I think people should play Warzones for the challenge and the fun, not for gear. Are you sure your not from WoW??
  23. Lies! William Wallace did and so did Arnold Schwarzenegger in Commando!
