  1. The only news seems to be ranked WZs being in 1.3. Everything else is soon or some variantf that word. Not going to save this game if even basic info is still pretty far off. Meanwhile RIFT a nd GW2 look to steal anyone who still tries to pvp seriously cmon and release some hope.
  2. More like we are coming up on a cliff and Bioware hasn't decided whether or not to use the brakes.
  3. Nice try OP but no amount of spin can make TOR into a success with its current content, bugs, population issues, etc. If Biowware only learned from our friends at RIFT maybe this game would have stood a chance.
  4. Nope, just giving you an exaggerated preview of the future. Please don't take notes.
  5. Well, if they want to keep everyone now June 1st. More realistically, July 1st - July 30th.
  6. Add Space Content that matters and this awesome list is complete.
  7. While D3 had a few hiccups, once they add PvP in it won't be hard for people to come back to it creating the same cycle we are in now again. Add in at least 2 expansion packs and you can almost guarantee SWTOR's current list of 1.3 won't be bringing anyone who was dissatisfied with content back. On the other hand, if the PC gamer article* is to be believed SWTOR is going to consolidate down servers to a few "massively" higher ones. This could bring back people if they find a way to allow people to keep legacies/friends/guilds in the process. *http://www.pcgamer.com/2012/05/23/the-old-republics-daniel-erickson-talks-legacy-system-update-group-finder-and-adaptive-gear/
  8. More excuses made for Stephen Reid, check. Was he the worst commumity manager ever, nope. Did ht not properly do his job by avoiding the forums like the plague, correct.
  9. Thanks for in your own words, the very first ones in fact proving the poster you quoted: right. This is SWTOR not SWTwitter, if you aren't on the community forums and are in fact spending post of your time with the twitterazi you doing your job. The community is here, and sure a few things can break on twitter but when it replaces to forums for game updates something is very very wrong.
  10. And all of the complaints listed that you quoted were valid. This game deserved everything thrown at it because back in BETA -> LAUNCH we were screaming about things that needed to be fixed and were ignored or drowned out by the fanboys. Then everything we said is slowly becoming true. This is the real MMO genre is having problems, they don't listen to the detractors enough and are too quick to assume they know best. First rule of customer service, the customer is always right and wrong because it takes both to get to the root of an issue. MMOs would do well to learn this and apply it. Amen to that brother.
  11. No need, if you liked him I am sure he will have some insight for you.
  12. And this is why he lost his job! Tweeting instead of posting on the GAME FORUMS!
  13. SWTOR is re-releasing and still losing enough players to lose 400,000 subscribers. As the August update will prove Bioware is moving too slow to patch up the holes on the sinking ship. When even the last great server is having population declines you should be able to read the writing on the wall.
  14. Not going to happen, so either deal with the game as it is or quit and come back to look later. 1.3 will be a much smaller patch then 1.2 and thus will have little content/rewards for anyone other than altaholics. Perhaps the server transfers will go well but even that seems like it will be bad.
  15. Can anyone confirm from these servers what happened?
  16. If you have to ask if the bubble burst, then it has. The game is headed to hell in a hand basket and instead of doing their best to save it Bioware is laying off employees and releasing videos on what they promise to bring in 1.3 instead of all the things they didn't put in 1.2.
  17. Pretty much, Stephen Reid going is an actually a plus for Bioware. Not if only we could get Erickson and Ohlen to leave and be replaced by competent leads this game might come around.
  18. Even in advertising SWTOR has to lie, it's beautiful in a PR way.
  19. Short term it doesn't matter the content for 1.3 is already in alpha testing but long term it is yet another sign this game just isn't meant to be successful.
  20. The transfers will be day 1 but there was no mention of all servers being able to be transfered to from day one making the point valid. Unless people can truly go where their friends and the most populated servers are the LFG system is worthless.
  21. This would be a wonderful idea if it were possible. However, EA would never allow it and although it has its problems some fans would be mad at this move. However, do we really think it will only take a year to get this game in a much better state?
  22. Lol I would love to see a game where each person is a server.
  23. In SWTOR? Yes, by making the game a solo fest with a few sprinkled group quests and penalizing players for grouping for most quests they did kill socializing while leveling. It works much the same way for PvP or PvE. However, other games have figured out clever ways to induce grouping so it isn't dead, unless you are playing SWTOR.
