Only Bioware can do a 2 for 1 piss off special. Instead of just offering a vendor to change, let's just make people mad who spent money on a look.

Star Wars: The Old Republic – State of the Game #2

And yet for others there are still many if the same issues. Don't roll your eyes if you are just ignorant to the suffering of others. -
This game needs something major to save it: RoTHC is not it

Well written post, a pity Bioware at most will ignore it and at worst delete such a nice critique. -
So the new species in rise of the hutt cartel..

Generally if you are going to go on the internet and call other people "kids" and make demeaning statements, it would be in your own self interest to not sound like a hypocrite and type proper English. -
So the new species in rise of the hutt cartel..
Tenceriker replied to Jenrais's topic in General Discussion
Management changes shouldn't effect what players have been promised by the Bioware. It would be different if this game had gotten all merged into another studio but it hasn't yet. Therefore the concerns addressed are valid. When my company merged for example, I actually had to get more things that ere promised to customer finished on time so new mamagement could make more assurances that we were not just going to take our IP and run. This much I agree on, Cathar were a terrible race to pick first and once they launch them it bombs it will be all the proof EA needs say they never want to update species available again. Togruta or Wookies would have been far better choices. -
EVERYTHING we can get now will be obsolete in Spring?

These are the same people who promised Makena would be free. Don't count on your gear staying meaningful. -
Her sister was put to rest a year ago but her sacrilegious cousin named EvE is around and available.

Honesty adding more to current planets would have been a better use of resources.

Can we not buy this 'Expansion' with Cartel Coins?

A wise move, for there are only darker days ahead. -
'Rise of the Hutt Cartel' Complaints
Tenceriker replied to Primarch_PWnD's topic in General Discussion
Yet wow had enough of an appeal to keep players playing for a year yet SWTOR had to go free to play and try a cash grab expansion right as the one year is rolling up. /golfclap -
life day items on cartel market insulting.
Tenceriker replied to gabarooni's topic in General Discussion
It's not like the more cynical users didn't warn you about how to EA treats games on life support. They are going to milk players for as much as they are willing to pay. We danced with the devil, and the devil doesn't change. -
Dual spec is a great idea that we can't have soon enough.

Consequences or lack there for of with the Republic storyline. Sure, people can die but the difference between genocides, revealing harsh truths or just blindly following orders makes so much more of a difference with the Empire.

I'm not sure why people expected Bioware to give any meaningful answers. We got a few sprinkles of soon in various flavors or "confirmations" of obvious answers any idiot could guess. But did you really expect more? They can barely figure out how to manage F2P, keep the current subscriber count up, or implement what they said 6 months ago and you expect them to be able tell you what's on the horizon?

Preferred Status Players Increase in Quickbars
Tenceriker replied to JovethGonzalez's topic in General Discussion
Now to get this changes for F2Players, and maybe a headslot/unify colors with sprint on the side. One small step forward though, i guess. -
"BioWare has developed some of the most embarrassing freemium approaches since Vindictus started selling sexy lingerie and calling it 'Inner Armor'." Pretty much sums up everything that F2P conversion has been so far.

So rant on F2P is mostly about some minor restriction
Tenceriker replied to Slowpokeking's topic in General Discussion
So you admit you cheated and still believe in what you added to the conversation? I don't even know what more to say. The point of easing the restrictions isn't to say every F2Player can't play the game as it is, but rather it's a labor of pain more so than enjoyment. Sure, EA can continue to charge for things that should be in the F2P experience or they can concentrate on what items that add to the game and make players want to sub or buy from the CC for enjoyment's sake. A perfect example of an idea presented earlier would be giving extra XP to subscribers or purchasable from the CC store, and regular XP to F2P/Pref players. Another example which is actually in the game would be the Flashpoint/PvP/Ops weekly passes. These items are based around the concept of if you enjoy an element of the game why not subscribe to SWTOR or try it out for a week or every couple of weeks for CC. -

While what you say of resurrection works on the first 4 planets or so, it doesn't work out so well once people start slowing down because levels aren't being given to you on a platter. -
Who feels that there needs to be more severs

Yes OP, re-roll here where you too can watch the dust droids scurry by while players continue to not exist. -

I challenge you to play a Smuggler with just 2 quickslots. It needs to be 4 for F2P/Preferred with an additional 2 which are purchasable from the CC store if you want to buy it. -
well I guess bEAware are doing something right
Tenceriker replied to Senden's topic in General Discussion
Right now our grass is in need of a lot more green and the retention discussion is the the think SWTOR needs the most. -
Did you try it on the PTS or read the current topics on it? While PvP is major focus there are some improvements for people looking to PVE but not finding the time for hard modes.
