  1. Each run at Lv 50 takes under 8 minutes though.
  2. Esseles and Black Talon are the best, most efficient, and they won't degrade based on level. It is still my preferred method since launch. You'll get atleast 120 social points per run. If you use a Social booster, you can expect 300+.
  3. Bringing up an old thread, but wanted to say that I tank HM EC 8man with only 92% accuracy as Guardian. I've never had an issue with threat without having 100%.
  4. They could even take the Final Fantasy XIV route and completely redesign the game on a new engine. Introduce a 6 minute cinematic showing the destruction of the galaxy. Actually, with them currently using the Hero Engine, they should do this.
  5. You sure have a way with reading words... The goal is that it should fit the majority of players, obviously. Your comments keep referring to two players and there's many more than that.
  6. Get over yourself. You and I aren't the only players and I've already stated that this doesn't affect me directly because I'm on a PvP server. This is a debate and I chose a side to stand on for what I feel is best for the community as a whole. I adapt very easily to new concepts but there are many other players who may not. Its much bigger than just your specific play style.
  7. You're being completely biased towards people who play on PvE servers. Do you not understand the concept of poor game design when you have specifically opted out of open world PvP and then are forced into a PvP area for a companion that is intended for PvE content? Mentioning WH relics for PvE content doesn't justify your opinion either. Using PvP gear for PvE content is yet another concept of poor game design.
  8. I think this suggestion would have the opposite effect. The numbers shown would drop for normal servers and people would get discouraged because they'd assume the player count has taken another descent.
  9. You are certainly not wrong. I had to set up my UI again and there is absolutely no option for this button.
  10. My post wasn't for myself but for PvE players who dislike being forced into PvP in general. I rolled on a PvP server because it doesn't phase me. On a PvP server, you'll have PvP no matter where the NPC stands, but on a PvE server, you're still being forced into world PvP that you opted out of by rolling on said server.
  11. This, this, and many more of this. We were promised and they never delivered; its like paying full price for a game and only getting half of it.
  12. I left the game for a couple of months, came back last night, and the ability lag is certainly worse now for me on my Guardian. I thought maybe there was lag on my end from the influx of players, but I was consistently at 38 ms. I'm using the same graphic settings as before, both Windows and video drives are up to date.
  13. Companions aren't allowed in Warzones and if you're PvPing in the open world planet questing areas, you'd generally be in a group with no companion. So yes, obtaining HK-51 should only have PvE requirements.
  14. Just my thoughts... Give F2P players access to unify colors - I'm a subscriber and I think it is unfair to my eyes to see rainbows shaped as players. :/ Give F2P players the ability to show Legacy - They get to unlock it at Lv 10 so why restrict it anyway? Give F2P players access to Story EV/KP Operations - Getting their feet wet is more incentive to buy an unlock/subscription. Not all players enjoy raiding but many may not have even attempted to try and because of this, they may never want to try if they have to pay for something they may dislike. Preferred Status is where the true ******** starts, imo. They already purchased the game and paid for months of playtime. Give them their UI, unify, Legacy, Titles, etc. Of course, this can't be done with the current setup. You'd need a 4th group. Give loyalty where loyalty is due.
  15. I was a beta player and have since played from pre-launch to mid-August with my CE account. I logged in last night to see how things have come since my last time ingame. Besides some new faces, a Cartel cash shop, and a handful of limitations even as a Preferred player, I still ended up renewing my subscription. It was certainly cheaper to renew, claim the Cartel Coins I accumulated for my previous months than to simply buy Coins straight out. One reason for the claim were the armor sets in the store. I think this was the first time since a month after launch when I really appreciated the appearance of new gear. Whatever you do, keep this/these designer/s around for new gear tiers! I also didn't realize you needed a subscription to get HK-51 so there again, the resub was worth it. I'm a massive Star Wars nerd who played KOTOR atleast 10 times through. This assassin droid brings back many great memories. It isn't all positive though. I have missing CE items and missing Cartel Coins. I had to resub to be able to show titles, legacy, and gear that I worked extremely hard to obtain for the previous 8 months I had played. Other than Section X and HK-51, the content is still lacking. Wasn't this content created 6 months ago? These are just my opinions from a player who really does enjoy SWTOR but wished updates and limitations were re-evaluated.
  16. I appreciate the Founders title because I'll have a piece of nostalgia when I'm playing SWTOR for years to come. I always enjoyed vanity items like this from MMO developers. I have quite a few from EVE Online that let me look back through those six years as a player who experienced a lot of ups and downs.
  17. I learned as early as possible to take all reviews with a grain of salt. One reviewers opinions aren't always the same as yours and you should never base a purchase on a single review. A lot of points differ from me greatly from this reviewer in regards to story elements. I think the writing, characters, companions, etc fit the story driven MMORPG title fantastically. Some of the mechanics I can agree on though, but I always have the thought "this is actually the first MMORPG BioWare has developed" in the back of my mind. Every MMO launch has issues; even WoW did. However, some players are just too impatient to ride the wave out and to see changes being made, issues being addressed. I have seen progress from BioWare which is why I subbed for an additional six months. Most video game titles aren't perfection and not every title is suited to every player. And some are going to hate... just to hate. All you are really left with is how SWTOR fits into your terms of enjoyment with video games and is thus how I have made my choice.
  18. This is completely cosmetic concerns at this point. I'd much prefer BioWare spend their time fixing game mechanic issues than having to spend time pleasing you lot with a "down hood". If you've cared enough about it, you would have researched like I have and found that there are head gears that will show you without a hood.
  19. After obtaining the chest and leg pieces, I'm liking the look. Sure, I'd rather have robes but this is also quite a surprise. My only concern and dislike now remains the helmet ********.
  20. Does anyone know where to find the orange Jedi Myrmidon's Chestguard? I have all pieces besides this one and it is starting to annoy me.
  21. Those daily rewards for heroics on Belsavis and Ilum do not give Guardians any justice. I mean, there is no enhancement reward for Defense Rating. And I have always tended to avoid Shield/Absorption for the simple fact that Defense Rating is superior for us. With that said, there are about eight other viable enhancements I'd rather try but do not really see much discussion about. I haven't really seen a lot of these on the market either on the server I play. Advanced Bastion Enhancement 22 +30 Endurance +39 Glance Rating +15 Defense Rating Advanced Astute Enhancement 22 +30 Endurance +39 Accuracy Rating +15 Defense Rating Advanced Bastion Enhancement 22 +30 Endurance +39 Glance Rating +15 Defense Rating Advanced Immunity Enhancement 22 +18 Endurance +39 Glance Rating +27 Defense Rating Advanced Intuition Enhancement 22 +30 Endurance +39 Accuracy Rating +15 Defense Rating Advanced Protection Enhancement 22 +18 Endurance +39 Accuracy Rating +27 Defense Rating Advanced Protection Enhancement 22B +30 Endurance +39 Accuracy Rating +15 Defense Rating Advanced Steadfast Enhancement 22 +30 Endurance +39 Glance Rating +15 Defense Rating
  22. Schematics for this chest piece exist; I'm not sure where you might obtain it but I bought it along with the schematic for the matching pants about a week ago on GTN. I have 400 Synthweaving with chest and pant schematics on Belgoth's Beacon if anyone wants either piece crafted.
  23. Exactly. The more iconic characters who used dual sabers were usually in the Extended Universe. And it is pretty obvious, as far as those iconic figures go, most were Sith; Asajj Ventress and Dooku.
  24. I was playing a Jedi Knight exclusively in August during a beta test phase and noticed last night that a lot of gear has had their appearances altered or colors matching more to pieces of other sets. Here's a screenshot of one example specifically on my character; the chest piece is from the commendation vendor on Tython. And I must say, this piece looks completely different than it did before and its simply amazing. http://www.lightwisp.com/swtor/Screenshot_2011-12-14_00_03_24_438825.jpg Anyone else have more examples of some better alterations? Big props to BioWare for these.
