  1. Ineed ti is from the PvP vendor (Coruscant cantina or Fleet, doesn't matter)
  2. I think there was a point somewhere that he meant to make.
  3. Really. The class that slaughters me is the Operative. Go figure If you are playing an operative and feel the scoundrel is better than you and you are specced for dps, then they are doing something right that you are not. General opinion on the forum is that operatives are better than scoundrels for a number of reasons inconcistencies that will hopefully be addressed with 1.2 (animation time, angle that abilities work...). But basically your post boils down to: nerf this class because when other people play it, it is far more powerful than when I do.
  4. Yeah. The dirty kick thing can so easily be turned into: Dev 1: "Smugglers have a self root issue with Dirty Kick." Dev 2: "Who cares? It's only smugglers..." Dev 1: "Dirty Kick actually looks cool. We should give it other classes as well." Dev 2: "Didn't you say something about a complaint with that skill?" Dev 1: "Yeah it roots for the duration of the animation..." Dev 2: "Better fix that if we are going to give the skill to inquistors..." Yes there is a way to whine even about good news
  5. Now go and make the same post in the Operatives forum. It is the mirror class after all
  6. We use one blaster and one scattergun. If you have seen smugglers shooting people in the back with a shotgun? That's us: your friendly neighbourhood scoundrels. But we also kick and punch and blasterwhip people. You'll always have some gun using, but it will be mixed up with unarmed attacks. Scoundrel is close range.
  7. The way I understand it, he used the question about the legacy skills to tell smuggler players that Dirty Kick is being looked into and the self root removed. He called us his "smuggler firends", showing that he cares about us even though we are an insignificant minority of players. Of course only fixing our skill when it gets added to teh legacy system and made available to other classes...
  8. Well you could go dps scoundrel. I don't know how good or bad a dirty fighting scoundrel is, but I guess it would mesh well with the shadow. Since you know who you'll be playing with, if both of you have stealth it will help you with quite a few heroics. Also, as a scoundrel you will not need to use cover.
  9. Also gloves are the Plexoid Barrage Gloves. Yes, a hat can change a look quite a bit. I'm planning some outfits for 1.2 when we can change mods on endgame gear
  10. Check the first post under "Jedi Look" there is the "Veteran Elder Blade's Vest" The white colour version is a random drop apparently. Other colours are easier to find (for example the brown PvP one bought with warzone commendations) edit: Pants seem to be what NRieh suggested or close enough to them anyway. Boots are the Cademimu boots.
  11. Aaaaah! Now I wont be able to get that image out of my head!
  12. That is strange. If I remember correctly you should be able to choose between three colour versions, not 2. I have no idea why this one would not show up for you.
  13. Thanks Nexdine! Added the oranges to the list.
  14. Usually people put the exact time of the video where the item they are asking for is being seen. As far as hats go, have a look at the first link in my signature. Any ahts I am aware of are there.
  15. Nope. Not that I know of. So, when you make it, let us know
  16. This is true. Conversations are dependent on Affection and Story Progression. If you raise affection too fast (or what the game regards as too fast) then it may seem as if there are conversations missing. What will happen though is that once you get past the checkpoint in the story, your companion should have a lot to say.
  17. Here are my latest alternative suggestions for 1.2: My character Ronja dressed up as a speeder bike (remembering her childhood, when she would run around with cardboard speeder, pretending to be winning swoop races): http://imageshack.us/f/337/speeder01.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/f/32/speeder02.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/f/338/speeder03.jpg/ (and yes, I seem to be getting glitches like this rather frequently lately)
  18. Still hate it. What are the chances that Monday (tomorrow) the devs will come in here and tell us that they are changing it?
  19. As has been mentioned, you cannot truly judge sawbones gameplay until you have unlocked some of the later abilities (and taken certain talents for them). Your style of play will change quite a lot. You do not like cover? That is no problem: scoundrels hardly ever use it. Read: we do not need it. More important question is: do you like stealth? Though again, I use it rarely on my sawbones. Yes, sawbones is probably the most challenging healer to play in this game. It is rewarding though for the sense of achievment and for the joy of spamming EmergencyMedPack on someone near death and keeping them hanging in there until the enemy headbutts their screen in frustration. I have started PvPing on a casual level recently on my lvl 50 sawbones. I am having fun with it and mostly been well recieved by the others in the warzones (with the exception of one guild... but, meh, they are leavers and afkers so who cares). My survivability depends on the quality of my team and the quality of the enemy team. Good teams protect their healer. Sith force choking me get interrupted. People hunting me stunned and blown/cut to pieces. Good opponents mark the healer. The moment I show my head I get backstabbed, snipershot and force leaped on. Yes a battlemaster sage will pump out way more healing than I could dream of. But when there is just two of us protecting a turret, as a sawbones I can keep my team-mate in the fight as good as anyone else or possibly better. Besides: we never need to sacrifice health to keep our energy up
  20. At least the sith warrior's colour scheme fits. For us not even that works well.
  21. Casual gamer on a PvE server. I started PvPing at lvl 50 because at launch there were no brackets at all and I felt it was ridiculous to have low levels go up against max levels. Played about 4 warzones a day for a bit over a week and got all kitted out in centurion gear and a couple of champ gear items. Did good enough before I got them. Doing good enough. I can get as low as 0 MvP votes. My highest score has been 4 MvP votes. I'm a sawbones... not a spec made for PvP. But I do my best to keep my team alive and harass the enemy and if I'm in a good team, they try to keep an eye on me. Gear isn't that important. Warzones are about team play. If your team plays as a team, you can win. If your team runs around like headless chickens, you will loose.
  22. Just don't ask C2 to make that dress out of a bantha's ear. Even the most advanced droid would not be able to do THAT.
  23. What are the chances of the tails not clipping?
  24. I clould see a benefit if they made the giggle audible only to the scoundrel. I personaly love the giggle, but I could see a team getting annoyed at the constant, maniacaly giggling sawbones. Though idealy with UI changes they would eventually give a choice in the preferences between two different audio cues and the option of no audio.
