  1. It does seem like the Guild Summit had some nasty side effects.
  2. I am not sure that Yvin was defending. To me it looked more like coordinating the resistance, so that we could join our voices with those of our brothers and sisters of the other classes
  3. Agreed. And not just a let down from PTS patch notes, social gear for non-light armor classes was something that had been described before as soemthing to look forward to for 1.2.

Honestly, if they didn't realize that if they add a legacy system that promotes creating alts, then they should give people the chance to make alts (and thus increase character limit per server), then what are the odds they'll realize more complicated things? Doesn't get much simpler than: We want you to make alts -> We let you make alts
  7. Not just that, unlike other games that allowed yout o copy the existing files over to the new folder to install PTS more quickly, the PTS install here has "test" assets. So you re-download everything from scratch :/
  8. You wont have to look like 1.2 dont worry. If they forcd us to look like that they could just shut down the servers yesterday.
  9. The PvE set I feel, especially when looked at from behind is horrid. The PvP Jacket, if combined with other smuggler gear not from this set, may look okish. *shrug* Not convinced by 1.2 as a whole. "You have 1 day of play time remaining. When your play time runs out, you will no longer be able to play. Please sign up for a recurring subscription plan or redeem a Game Time Code." Going to take it slow with the "walk to store and buy timecard" thing

  13. At least us smugglers aren't alone in looking crap. The Sage PvE has a quality that coul;d make it work. It is a bit more minimalistic. The revealed shoulder is a nice touch. But overal, all these sets are like an early, bad april's fool joke.
  14. Wait wait wait! Is there a danger we loose the giggle? I'll honestly quit playing my sawbones if she stops giggling. That giggle really adds to her character :/
  15. 5 or 6 years appart I'd say. Which doesn't make the 1.2 armor model look any better (to get back on topic)
  16. I think Bioware was the first big name to come on board way back when. The announcement that SWTOR was using hero engine was 2008 I thinka nd by that time they had done enough work inside the engine to show screenies and talk shop. So there must have been a pretty workable version available way before that. I SWTOR had 6 years of development, would it be wrong to assume that they spend 5 years working with hero engine? Because they must have looked at it and palyed around with it before deciding to license it. I would say there must have been enough of hero engine ready to convince Bioware to use it in let's say 2007

  18. Come again? WoW as announced in 2001 and came out three years after that in 2004. Warcraft: Orcs & Humans came out in 1994. Which still leaves us with seven years and a month beteen WoW release and SWTOR release.
  19. When it comes to combat the worst timing is PvP when you have forgotten about the crew skills. "Why did you not stop them from planting explosives?" "Because a stupid mission window poped up and it took me a moment till I could see them..."

  21. I don't think there is a modable version of that in that exact colour. The model is the same as the Deadeye Elite Prototype Jacket etc in the first post. Just that the one you have looks a lot nicer
