1) Those jackets may not be in-game or available to players. I do not know where TORhead gets all their info, but when there is only an item name and no info to go with it on a site like this, it is very often the result of digging through the game-client's databases, which may result in listing of items that are in there but never made it to the live version loot drops lists or where only used for npcs. Then again someone may be already typing out a reply saying where to find them Judging by the item icon, they will be simple puffy collared coats though ... 2) As far as I can tell by the forum, nobody has found Tamin's coat, though there is a rumour that it is Imperial Agent only.

I think I can confirm now that that is the imperial version and not our (republic) male version, as I saw a male smuggler in-game wearing a jacket looking exactly like the female version. Added them all. The RD-06B is the same as the Jacket of Lethality and seems to be the random drop/lockbox version. The Plexoid Barrage Boots are one of the reward choices from the Dark Hollows mission on Voss.

That link doesn't work the way you wanted Here is the correct link: The jacket is a recolour of Clan Varad Watcher's Jacket. I have a couple of recolours stashed away and can have a look later. The gloves seem to be similar to the Plexoid Gloves. The trousers are a recolour of the Electromesh and the Blackguard leggings. Don't know the name of the brown version though. your point is that there is no in-game reason. ZD agreed with you and gave you the most likely, even if cynical, out of game reason. There is no in-game reason. They needed the class to stand out from teh rest and used a mechanic they have in another game. They couldn't use it for Troopers, as the "fantasy" for those is to heroicaly and unflinching stride into battle, guns blazing. The gunslinger/sniper are more aimed at people who, watching an action movie, will say "You know? If I was getting shot at, I think I'd get out of the way of the bullets..."

Added a couple of things, most significantly: Karagga's Unyielding Helm, which clips something dreadfull with hair. You can see some mild clipping with Rumfox who is wearing it in the screenshot, but when I previewed it on Ronja who has long hair? Argh...
