  1. May as well throw my name into the list of Day one subscriber who is having issues with the number of coins not showing up. Asking me to subscribe when I already am...
  2. Having leveled both a Shadow and an Assassin I will throw my two cents in as well. The middle tree Infiltration/Deception tends to shine rather early on, and I would strongly recommend leveling in that tree until min-twenties to late-twenties or so. At that time the two other trees Kinetic/Darkness and Balance/Madness tend to shine a bit more since most of their utility and damage/healing stuff is unlocked around there. As a Shadow this should be around the time you get your healer(Theran Cedrax if I am not mistaken), once you unlock him I would strongly recommend using him for just about everything. His heals will make you damn near invicible in PvE stuff; able to solo most heroic 2s.
  3. But to reply on your build here is one that I find to be very effective: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#200rcrozrszZhZf0cRr.1 You are left with one point that can be used in various places depending on your playstyle and the gear you have. If you have a shield generator, put it into Dark Ward. If you want to reduce some of the damage from those DoTs that many people in PvP do, put the point into Corrupted flesh. Or if you want to do a bit more damage to targets affected by spike or electrocute put it into Nerve Wracking. The choice is yours for the most part, so up to you on how you want to do it. this build also take away the need for changing stances, stay in Dark charge and you are good to go.
  4. That is a good build for DPS and such, but just an FYI Whirlwind can't hit three people at the same time. That trait on there states: "In addition, your Whirlwind affects up to 2 additional standard or weak enemies within 8 meters of the target." Player Characters are not considered Standard or Weak enemies, they are not classified in any of those. If that was the case, then you would see Sorcs lifting up three people all the time, because sorcs have the same talent as well.
  5. Another point that I noticed some of you not mentioning. Is the simple facts of our companions that we are given. I know the Inquisitor has a few companions who would not take to kindly to their leader switching to the republic side. The companions would be another issue all on their own.
  6. It should be noted that I am assuming the OP is talking from a PvE standpoint. From a SinTank, who has done multiple PvE runs, the heal from Force Lightning shouldn't be considered a heal in the since of the word for MMOs. A better term would be a Ward, it is more like additional damage mitigation if anything. The first Force lightning can be thrown out fairly early, but on most bosses that early Force Lightning heal is usually wasted for the most part. The healers in my guild can usually keep me topped up with little to no problem for the beginning of the boss fight. It is when the boss starts hitting random targets, or they do their little tricks here or there and the healers are forced to focus on other targets on top of me, is when you start to notice the heal mitigation from Assassin Self heals. Now to the OP, as others have stated if you don't like the class don't play it. You pay for the game so play it your way. I pay for my play time so I am going to play it my way. Who cares if Bioware made Assassins a tanking class. Hell in beta they had Marauders and Sentinels set as the third tanking class.
  7. Each Pie segment is 5 seconds, so a full 4 pie segments is a full 20 second door.
  8. I also know of some people who may keep there desk in a not so tidy manner. And as such they may lose the small little authenticator thing...So they opt for the phone bit.
  9. Yea I don't know where those came from. I have had mine since day one, and no complaints....until my dog got a hold of it. They should really make them dog resistant...
  10. This should be the true way to handle these kinds of things. Not make complaining posts about how they are ruining PvP and such. Perhaps some people just don't know...help them out, by explaining it to them..!!!
  11. The key app is worth getting. About spending hours on the phone with customer service. My puppy got a hold of my key when it fell off my desk, while I was at work, and she did what most puppies do with things we like. She tore it up, luckily she didn't eat it..just chewed it up real good. So I had to call CS to get my key taken off my account. I was on the phone with them for a whole 15 minutes, including hold time, and I had my account unlocked and good to go. So there isn't much of a hassle on that end of things.

    How to play this game

If you guys don't like the game that much, then don't play. Coming here to "troll" on the forums, about how much you don't like the game, and want to play other games. I just a waste of time. Grow up; if you don't like the game no one is forcing you to play.
  13. If the fact that your Twilek can't wear a hood is the camel that broke the camels back, then that is pretty pathetic. I mean really think about that, you chose a race with Lekkus. So most things that involve the head cannot happen. I mean have you tried to show the PVP helm/PVE helm on a Twilek. It is like the Lekkus got cut off to wear that helmet. You don't look any less like an assassin if you don't wear a hood, I mean a hood isn't the sign of an assassin. I mean look at the War Hero set. Now some people like it, but in my opinion it makes Inquisitor classes look like Swamp thing. So in short, good luck in whatever endeavors you go off to, because if this is something that truly bothered you. You will never really be happy in any game.
  14. Right, my calculations just include the requirements of the Daily. Of course if someone is on a streak they are going to play more games. But after they complete the daily, those matches don't count towards the calculation of Daily to WZ coms. That said some people stated that the overall time to coms ratio is much better for the winning side, then the losing. And I do agree with that statement. I was just looking at the pure numbers of WZs to coms.
  15. Right I wasn't included Rated coms in my calculations, since that wouldn't change the numbers at all. It would just increase the over all totals, but the difference would be about the same. The only real way there would be a difference in the numbers, is if my values for winning/losing coms were wrong. Which they very well could be, as I said I don't pay attention to those kind of things.
