The Annihilation tree is the DoT spec tree for Marauders and this is a great tree, both for PvE and for PvP, the DoT's put out fast damage and can tear down targets quickly once you have all three stacks plus the rupture ability. This is not a complaint on the way the tree or class works. The issue I have is that the DoT's are considered INTERNAL damage and are not supposed to able to be cleared; however this is not the case. I have written tickets and got a response that says they are considering it nothing more than a negative affect and are allowed to be cleansed and cleared by abilities such as purge. This statement is ridiculous for two reasons, FIRST it has to be spec'ed into purge to make it clear 'PHYSICAL' and THEN it can be cleared. Second, by doing this your stating the the ability is a 'PHYSICAL' ability not 'INTERNAL' and by doing so the classes that can choose to be a healer such as Bounty Hunter Mercenary, Agent Operative, Trooper Commando, and Smuggler Scoundrel can ALL clear this ability WITHOUT HAVING TO SPEC FOR THE INCREASED ABILITY. This is the BASIC of all of these classed is to clear 'PHYSICAL' affects. With this being said the Annihilation tree is now bound to ONLY be useful on targets that CANNOT clear this ability since it is now a 'PHYSICAL' ability and can be cleared by more than half the players in the game. This makes the tree USELESS against those who CAN purge clear cleanse this ability since the cost of doing so is SOOOO miniscule that you can clear the entire portion of damage in the Annihilation tree and are left 'holding the bag' if you will since your damage is almost completely nullified and all you have left are the abilities that you would have if you DIDN'T spec at all, with the exception of ANNIHILATE which does great damage once every 12 secs, then 9 secs then 8.5 secs BUT the problem here is then that it cost too much to use and you will not be able to use it since your DoT's are supposed to give you Rage back so you CAN use these abilities but since they are being Cleared you are no longer building the Rage. Talk about a completely gimped tree. I know that if you were to look at the warzone's you would not truly see a very good reflection of this since MOST players do not use this information and do NOT clear the DoT's however this is NOT my concern, let them live in irritation for not reading properly I don't care about that. IF THEY DID you would see that NO ONE would be using the ANNIHILATION tree since it would be made null and void completely cleared and countered by almost half the playable classes in the game. 3/8 on each side can clear and cleanse these abilities and 2 out of those 3 don't have to spec for anything to be able to do so since they are already GIVEN the ability to clear 'PHYSICAL'
  2. just to let you know that the dots CAN be purged if its a sorc or sage and spec for the one that removes physical effects. Anyone that can remove Physical effects is allowed to purge and get rid of the dots, most people just don't purge which is why you feel that they are not able to be purged.
  3. Reworking the Order of the Talent tree's would make a possible difference in the ability to use the Tripple build specs to the insanse potentional that you have them currently set at. Something needs to be done I just left another warzone where a merc had 400,000 damage and 350,000 healing and 13 medals .... just rediculous guys
  4. The abilities and balance of some of the classes are too far. I'm refering to classes that can spec for Healing/Damage in the same advance spec... Commando,Merc,Operative,Sorc,Agent,Counsular. These classes have the ability to choose Heal or Damage yet if you spec them just right you are the creame de la creame and can out put more damage than everyone else on the charts, and out put more heals than anyone on the charts. The Medals rack up and you can earn the damage medals for 300k 2.5k. 5k in one hit, 10 kills 25 kills so on and so forth, yet you can also turn around and get all the healing ones as well 300k healing, 2.5k 5k heal, your death to kill ratio is skyrocketed and you can't be killed EVER in a 1v1 unless you just fail at playing. I have seen WAY too many times the end boards show people with 15 medals and when I look at them and what they have done, and who they are .. its one of these classes that can heal or damage in their advance class. It is out of control, there needs to be some kind of boundery put out there... EITHER you spec for damage and can equal the damage of the rest of the damage guys, or you spec for healing and you can heal as well as the rest of the healing guys, you should NOT be able to spec middle of the road and reap full benifits from both sides, damage as much as the damage dealers, and heal as much as the healers, stay a live and keep going racking up more and more. SOMEWHERE there needs to be bounderies drawn its just rediculous guys. I have played my class as well as several others to 50 to see how they work and get better understandings of them I will tell you now that I'm far from one who just screams out nerf, I believe TOO many people do it that don't have a clue as to how to play thier class or how to make things work properly. I am not screaming for a 'nerf' of these classes or thier tree's by no means, I'm asking for a balance and action to be taken that does not allow this to happen. If you want to middle of the road then fine be middle of the road but you should NOT be able to spec middle of the road and out do the damage guys and out do the healing guys, earning 15 medals in a match gaining you more valor and commendations than the rest of the peolple in the match, ultimately earning your gear and titles and rankings exponitionaly faster. *sorry for the wall o text before*
