  1. I don't agree with the OP, though I know where he's coming from, Juggs get a lot of abilities that are niche useful so you want to keep them in your bar, however not many of those are needed for effective leveling PVE (for example, Pommel strike, its okish but you don't need to use it to win, or savage kick that one never makes it to my bar!) So it's easy to get overwhelmed by the amount of skills you think you need, but it's just a matter of just keeping the really useful ones in prioritized slots. That's my experience for juggs and guards, never played Marauders or sentinels so can't speak for them
  2. If you have Cyborg unlocked you might want to try making one with that, I find the cyborg faces are more "manly" or heroicish, that what you can get with the default humans, plus some implants (specially trooper ones) are non intrusive so you don't look like a freak
  3. Because all of the items from the Cartel store can be sold in the GTN so that those that don't want to spend real money can buy it for credits from someone who has no use for it (like with the Spymaster set for example) I don't see a problem. If it is ever added it will become an expensive item that sells for a million or so in the GTN just like the Jedi Battlelord gear.
  4. Yeah I miss interacting with my companions, it's been months since the last time my 50 character and them exchanged words.
  5. The Theoretika was indeed great!, what I liked most was how you can alter the final confrontation by taking time and exploring the ship, really hope this sort of quest design is picked up for future content.
  6. Well chronologically you officially are supposed to get HK after the emperor fight, so it would not make story sense for him to be there, it's the same reason why he doesn't gain affection points through dialogue, he technically was never there for the old content. So if they let you use HK might as well let you use anybody on your team since story adherence is out the window.
  7. The only bad thing about this scene is how pathetically easy it was to beat up those droids, Quinn is useful and that is a fact since he is your only proven healer, a smart warrior would keep him around even if only to kill him at a future date as punishment. Sure you could pick up some unproven healer imp from the street but Baras is in a position of power and probably able to block access to someone from Quinn's skill, and given you where just about to face baras there is little time for that to be a realistic notion. The only thing that was removed by removing the option to kill him is the ability to play a derpy derp warrior (which is a valid form of playing and RPing of course) but I don't see it as a big deal myself.
  8. As the poster of that old pic, I can answer what those are, Indignation chestpiece as mentioned, while the legs I don't remember the name but are a purple random drop and are indeed heavy armor unlike the legacy version, (I have seen it posted from time to time in the GTN so it shouldn't be too hard a find) as for the gloves and boots, the boots are a Light Side 2, light side vendor orange, while the gloves are another dropped purple, though ever since 1.3 I have seen some oranges of the same model posted on the GTN. Hope that helps
  9. I love characters that use their wits rather than their brawn so he is most likely my favorite Jedi in the entire game , needless to say my grey sith gave him respect and the line my SW told Jaesa at the end when she asked why we didn't killed him was spot on "He earned his life by making himself useful to me"
  10. I use the Shadowbringer's Lightsaber for my Sith Warrior, it looks very elegant which complements my Count Dooku inspired Warrior perfectly http://www.torhead.com/item/5a6S9GU/shadowbringers-lightsaber
  11. Well this is Star Wars where Yoda said the dark side is not stronger but faster and easier, so canonically it makes sense for the Imps to have an easier time as long as they both arrive at the same point gameplay wise at endgame, now if that has caused more people to go imperial, well that's the lure of the dark side right there
  12. After finishing both the JK and SW I have to agree with this, with the knight the story almost never makes your character involved, I enjoyed Tython and Voss the most Story wise because there you actually get to know the NPCs and makes you want to help them rather than just doing so because its the nice thing to do And to those saying that is just the way a Jedi story is supposed to be, just look at KOTOR1 and 2, I played a goody two shoes on those games too and the story was way more interesting and giving that the SW and Imperial Agent stories are so amazing It is not a problem with the story suffering due to the MMO setting.
  13. It is not so much about age as it is about not having a companion that I feel like kicking off my ship everytime she opens her mouth
  14. She is not important in either of the storylines but she gets more screentime with the JK, you do get a nice mail from her after finishing the class story for the JK though, and I would take Satele over Kira any day
  15. Imperials (or at least the SW) also get to kill a rather prominent Jedi Council member during the Ilum planet story, the same is not true of the republic where the Dark Council member that gets the axe was an unknown one I was honestly surprised that imperials got to kill the council member with the most screentime after Satele Shan and Syo Bakarn
  16. Are we going to get Orange heavy armor sets for the Jedi Guardians with the hood down? maybe some of those models that are already in the game and currently only used by NPCs?
  17. Maybe, but Kreia also said she loved the exile because in him she saw the death of the force, and Jedi Knight spoiler: Besides if the entity is as old as the force then it cannot have met the emperor as the emperor is about a thousand years old only, so either the entity or Vowrown are not correct, and I'm inclined to think is Vowrown that got it wrong.
  18. Well all I can tell for certain is:
  19. Watcher One!, one of the things I hoped my Agent would do was meet watcher one before his demise but alas Master Timmns, not really a villain but an antagonist, probably the best Jedi in the game (or at least the most jedi like of them all) Noman Kar, probably the only Jedi I enjoyed killing with my SW, what made it great is I started respecting him and through his own actions I ended up hating him
  20. From the romances I have seen so far my favourite is Vette, there is this inverted disney feel to it, where the "prince" (SW) is the main character rather than the other way around and you get to experience how he falls for the "peasant/poor" woman rather than the other way around, it also felt kind of natural in its evolution and never rushed or forced. I also enjoyed the Temple romance, I really liked the back and forth between them and of all the flirts I have seen so far the ones between them felt the more natural, the whole romance feels like the agent has met his match, overall it was a nice way of ending his jamesbondish ways.
  21. Reading the codex intro on "The Entity" that Baras was keeping imprisoned on Corellia, I noticed that it mentions she had come close to eradicating the Jedi order, was centuries old and had the gift of foresight, so there is only one person I can think of that matches all of those qualifications and that is Kreia, anyone knows if this is confirmed anywhere else in the game?
  22. Wow that looks great, why would they remove stuff like that :mad: Finally got to legacy level 20 for the Legacy armor: http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/gg484/Andronic0s/Screenshot_2012-05-11_02_20_18_625000.jpg
  23. My Jedi General Gear: http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/gg484/Andronic0s/jedi2.jpg and my normal Jedi look: http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/gg484/Andronic0s/Jedi1.jpg
  24. I know Sullust interception is really though with store default grade 3 upgrades, tried it failed pretty hard, then got the upgrade that gives your ship more fire rate (I think it is level 41 or 39) and that made it doable with my level 41 agent, the same thing for the minelayer mission. Missions are challenging (as they should be IMO) but they are not impossible
  25. 1 - This game doesn't has a store 2 - The LotRO store only has (last time I checked some months ago) exclusive items but that's it, 90% of gear is only obtainable from the playing the game, and other unique pieces are only obtainable from crafters and as for not replacing gear you liked, well that is going to happen with any appearance system, once I found an orange set I like I just keep changing mods and that's it.
