As a toggleable option it would alleviate the hell that are RP gatherings. Just get some twenty odd people in a relatively small space and try to follow the conversation(s) without getting nauseas. Aside from that, I patched up GW2 the other day and started a new character to level up with some friends, and I find the combat just so much more enjoyable, it's not even a fair comparison for me. So, to each their own I guess.

If you want to get technical, you can simply ignore conversation prompts with said companion(s) until such a time comes when they are romanceable. It in no way hinders your character's level progression.

It could be with Makeb, however they explicitly stated that it will not be new class story content, only overall plot. Just finished my agent's story tonight, and I loved it to bits! Sure, there are some elements that aren't *completely* mindblowing, but so what? Being a Chiss led me to face racism, but I overcame that. Being treated as second-hand, even though I'm one of the top field operatives the Empire has to offer gave me all the ingame justification to mouth off to Sith I could've wanted. I faced trial and adversity, only to come out stronger, converting enemies to allies or servants along the way. LOVED IT!

Only time I give up is when I'm in a PUG and face a premade in Huttball. The game is usually over within the next three minutes whether I try or not, so I decided on the easier option.

Not same, but having a specc that is a "lone wolf" by design when designers when discussing PvP back in the day made a point that this game's PvP is all about team work and lone-wolfing around would get you pretty much nowhere is a damned contradiction. And it needs to change.
