  1. There is a very long thread about this subject, please post in that.
  2. Its been said before - this event will bring nothing essential (!) to the player, because Makeb is coming with its increased level cap. So if you want the new shiny items, then you PvP. Sorry, but if you're throwing tantrums over the only bone the PvP community has been thrown since the release of the game (Ancient Hypergate notwithstanding), then you need to re-evaluate why you play the game in the first place...
  3. All 5 base colours + purple and cyan (my personal faves) look awesome. Pretty impartial towards the rest of them, except the black-orange one you get for level 6, hate that with a passion.
  4. I think you're way off mark here, but you're entitled to your opinion. My point remains that it's badly done. Example: http://dulfy.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/swtor-cartel-market-investigators-armor-set-full-female.jpg
  5. What bothers me in this case is that the tank-tops look bad, the texture has simply been cut off at one point, there is no lining or folds, it just sort of... ends. Can you say half-arsed?
  6. If you don't want to PvP, then pass out on the event, simple as that. I know that's what I did with the Plague event.
  7. Ah, the mythical 31/31/31 build has reared its head again I see. Carry on.
  8. With my mostly WH-geared Inf. Shadow I do get to kill people in 3 gcd when opening from stealth. These people all happen to have less than 15k health. I leave the conclusions to you
  9. I don't mind the breast size per se, I have 3 body type 2 females. What bothers me is that apparently every piece heavy armor has hollow slots for them... Ever seen what a sports bra does?
  10. Because I found out that a LS Warrior is a cunning manipulator, who uses the image of a mindless monster others have of him as a facade to build up a powerbase. On the other hand, DS Warrior is said mindless monster, which I find boring.
  11. Without giving away any spoilers, read the novel Riptide.
  12. The GTN is, in fact, shared However, if you buy, let's say, a sith light armor mask and send it over to a republic character, it will morph into a light armor hat, with a new name, appearance, but the same stats.
  13. Check swtor-rp.com, a fair selection of the active RP guilds participate there
  14. And if you were to read the sentence following what you quoted, you'd understand that it's not about his stance on SGR. Aside from that, I enjoyed this episode, for once. The past few felt somewhat forced.
  15. I don't really think that's feasible, given the sheer amount of new VO that will need to be done. A far simpler solution, in my opinion, would be to have the option for conversations to not proceed on their own, but rather wait for input (space bar) from the player when he is done reading the text.
  16. You cannot write a ticket to csr ingame as a F2P, and 99% of the people not subscribed can't post on these forums. This is not news, and is indeed somewhat ridiculous.
  17. Some awesome suggestions there, but I can't honestly see anything like that coming in the game in the foreseeable future. A year after launch, there still isn't a hood toggle, and the only chairs you can interact with are on the ship.
  18. Try here: http://www.swtor.com/community/forumdisplay.php?f=349
  19. It's the horse armour all over again. If you don't want to encourage this behaviour, don't buy it, simple as that. Though the jedi set is somewhat indicative that we won't be seeing a hood toggle soon, if at all, and that's just sad.
  20. You are mixing in the game mechanics and the story of the game, which are for the most part intended to be separate for SW:ToR. While more variety would be welcome (such as more prominent stealth), in the end of the day this game is following the WoW model. If you feel like getting philosophical about slaughtering everything in your path, go play KotOR 2 (with the restoration mod, ofc).
  21. GW 2 has lost a lot of its active players once they hit the level cap. However, that's not a very good comparison, since you can expect most of them to come back to the game once content updates appear (such as the one coming early 2013). It is, after all, a B2P game
  22. Doesn't bother me at all during normal play, I barely take notice of General chat either way. My problem is when there are a ton of people in one place, talking (example: RP gathering). Anyway, enough with the chat bubbles, that's not what this thread is about.
  23. If by decent you mean the absolute maximum to which it would expand, then yes, I do that. Still doesn't help the nausea from the ever flowing text of multiple conversations.
