  1. I played this game since day 2 of pre-launch. Star wars who could not try this game with the big raves about the excitement of new mmo. Story line was epic really fun to play, wouldn't expect nothing less with formerly playing Kotor's 1 & 2. However, they have struggled ever so much with the end game content and PvP so bad I am now tired of waiting for the fixes, nerfs and balancing acts of classes. This game just continued where SwG left of in my honest opinion, with flavors, ups and downs and cartel market. I said, "so what if i bought the collector's edition and get squat for it"; thinking this be the last pvp set armor i need get and boom lol. To the new people who start playing I would advise reading into players forum threads and get a perspective on what to expect when you play. Story line is cool, but that is about it. Don't expect much to change and waste your time like I did. So I'm unsubbed, and un-installing. Going to check out the emu simulators. Peace. As for the trolls/flamers this is for you nubcakes-------> t(0.0t). Eat it;).
  2. ditto, my tickets are heavy with reported hacks. Pretty crappy with the amount they spent to make this game and they lack any kind of anti-cheat. I played private game servers that had awesome anti-hacks and those were by far under budgeted vs. kotor.
  3. Dead serious, remember Ilum in the beginning days? Or mean open world pvp 100 vs. 100 for pvp dailys same in pvp now, just stun and run, hit, run, heal,run,stun, hit etc.
  4. This post goes along with my stun one lol. Stun and marauder or juggernaut pop in and one hit you lol probably a hack. I too have played since pre-launch and hacks seem to have gotten worse past few weeks. this was my fears for F2P that had limits on amount of pvp/ops people could do that couldn't afford the 15$. On my server they openly talk about hacks, not saying what fraction(headache); but read it while leveling a alt for PvE content story line. Hacks are annoying as heck, but I must admit they are funny at times. Like the sorc speed hack with lighting. Guessing I might have to fraps and piece together a collection to post from pvp.
  5. Use the cc breaker no good same will be stunned yet again. Any pvper's will know what I'm talking about here. Game heavily favors range classes. Melee has to get up close and personal. Sad part is all melee stuns for jedi get broken if hit. Example sentinel's have no real defense against stuns vs. shadow stun resist. So when whole team op's, sorc I mean literally 4 ops and 4 sorcs or with bh; just one big stun fest.
  6. pay for anti-cheat engine that stops third party hacks from running in the back ground and there goes a big hunk of hacks there. player reporting player is not an anti-cheat.
  7. Why not fix the stun ratio in the game. Every couple seconds your stunned. bubbles and ops. no surprise there the whole imp fleet seems to be crawling with whatever flavors yous developers make aka fix. Whole teams of op's,socr, and BH's. Said resolve was fixed all i can say it was fix to better suit stun classes. Then you got rampant speed/dmg hacks that fly in and almost 2 hit people. As for the flamers i am geared and know my class very well all three tree's. I can't say much for my team of recruit geared kids that play objective based game as dmg only. t(0.0t) <---- all i got to say to you nubcake stunners before you defend your class.
  8. it is this that will decide if i stay or go. I just wanted to know if there is any plans in the works. I enjoy pvp and pve, they balance each other out.
  9. I'm curious to when will we see some kind of anti-cheat engine installed for the game. I would say afters you posted the possible action against cheats/exploits there has been a explosion in uses in them. Mainly lag/dmg/speed hacks. I noticed a lot more for dmg one's and channeling speed hacks. Like for instances a force wave that kills 3-4 players with full health instantly from one hit or lighting that hits and kills you before they are even half-way through channeling it. As for the flamers I am geared and these are solo kills or one on one encounters; or so obvious. I must admit they look funny to watch, but rather annoying when your trying to get objectives done.
  10. My point of views on ToR: Game play via PVE content is awesome, but is limited. (Whats to do after you finish everything?) Game play via PVP is imbalanced and has been since the game launched. (no sign of fixes) Game play in gearing toons is time consuming and when they do attempt to fix it they make all your time spent for nothing. Advice for new players for pvp/pve is play a ranged character i.e. vanguard/power tech commando/mercenary sage/sorc. operative/gunslinger. I am not trying to bash ToR attempts here, but lets face it the game is heavily ranged, attempting to be melee=death unless in Pve content in those cases people will try to pass you up in favor of Ranged Dps. As for the people that read the forums in bright defense of ToR I am a fully geared sentinel pve/pvp with alts that are geared ( guardian, shadow, sage) with works in progress vanguard and gunslinger. However, I never played a star wars game thinking i wanted to be a rifle bearing commando or some other clone/imp ops team player. Bottom line is jedi/sith welding sabers is my style. I constantly find myself at a loss for what to do, game population so dwindled. I am starting to see no future here. Problems with pvp is bolster buff is still there and the stuns are a bit much. low level pvp is fun. I still see no point in expertise. The game is divided into pve/pvp and fraction/fraction restriction which means there could be 1000 players on and your interaction null to little. Best to describe it like peoples playing seperate games, but come together for pvp/pve content sometimes.
  11. people still raving about sentinel and marauder being over powered? LOL, I have no problem killing them on my healer sage. First and foremost when a player is banging on u odds are there is a ranged class also hitting you, that u just don't understand or obviously see them; look up and around corners. As my sage i focus helping the sentinel class out, since they lack heals and die easy from people that target them out as a grp. I laugh at all the sad marauders/sentinels that fail in pvp from all the nub re-rolls (class isn't as easy as their main 2-3 button class they switched from) timing is key in sentinel class. However, playing as my sentinel I WOULD very gladly give some dps up if they up'd our armor to heavy class. Hey I would even throw away my 5 sec cloak and guarded by the force for heavy armor. Now because u selected a class that was all the rave in the beginning, because it was epic; u are a sad little person now. I picked sentinel on day one, because that is the class i wanted to play as main. my sage is only for pve content once i get my NOW very easy to get BM gear. lol keep complaining and destroy the game a little bit more and keep the exploits running. Thats gonna be a sure win for all the players lol dumb people.
  12. it is not needed Pve based gear would work good for pvp content as well. I hate dividing up my time from pve and pvp sets, I think is really stupid. wow pvp and get armor do the same map 1000's times and you get this piece or chance of that; and once you get it, they make it easier to get for everyone else :wea_03:SLAP to the FACE.... Expertise and pve sets off set by there stats. I find it easy to just pvp and get set and skip to pve content fun.
  13. If any of you's played kotor, you'd know what to expect with the launch of ToR. PvE content... I was really surprised they even had the pvp system they had at launch mishap here and there, but they weren't expecting a whole community that's willing to re-roll classes that wreck havoc for any type of balance to happen. I thought wow 8 open slots for each toon totally pve sided thought from bioware so players could experience it from different angles. They misunderstood the nub re-rollers for pvp however. Area's i thought they are lacking is force abilities for certain classes along with universal abilities. Being able to craft your own light saber (was hoping we'd get the whole kotor experience of using crystals for different effects etc.) Economy is trash (why should there be 3 markets, think one is enough and universal). And some of the game play seems dumb'd down and childish. really 4 classes that can branch into a total of 8 with the advance classes (advance is a over statement). Dark and light side alignments, would be great if they added in the ones from kotor 2, but instead we get a legacy typed defense(unity) and heal(sacrifice).
  14. just give everyone a one hit kill button. We can go Nintendo up in here:wea_03: I love pvp more than anything in a star wars theme based game. I was never much of a gamer until soe and now tor. All i read is negative feed back and I think ToR staff do a good job at listening; a little to good of a job listening. However, I don't want a pre-cu epic update to happen that will destroy the game play for me once again. Do expansions, forget the updating style that introduces flavors and unwanted add in's. Classes would be great way to balance out some pvp content, the more classes the better choice and better mix in pvp. Redefine skill trees, calling the current tree's advance is an overstatement. Most star wars players are older people that can understand abstract thought and complex understanding. If the children don't like it, make a server just for them and over sized buttons for them to push.
  15. I agree, only ones able to fight are the ones that been them from start. A lot more button pushing in the marauder/sentinel trees than other classes tbh. I am bored as heck leveling a sage boring class/boring story line so far. Doing it because my grps lack pure healer sages.
