what a turn round, i remember during beta and before, every1 was saying its a wow beater, and heaped absolute ridicule on any1 saying any different, look at swtor now, its a dead duck, just doesnt know it yet.

Ive not gotten them all yet, but the one giving me the most trouble is the strength datacron on Hoth, When ive been there, i can never get a grp to kill the droid, ive tried soloing it a few times, tried to pull it over the mines etc, but not beat it yet. As a type3 body, i managed to get the one behind the door on alderaan by facing the gap, running at it, jumping at it and hitting the key that brings up ur skill tree at the same time, got thru it eventually. dunno if its been fixed since 1.2 tho. The Presence one on Correllia has been fixed so all can get it now. but yes the most annoying ones are the jumpy ones, the one on Nar Shaadar, jumping the girders had me screaming, even though ive done on a lots of chars, its still a ***** to get ;p ofc the tat balloon bugging out is a ***** to, cos the waiting is soo long!

IF they merge servers how are you would deal with toons with the same name as you ? I take it that no-one wants to give up their name right ? maybe all the people calling for mergers should be the first to give up their names

As the title says... how did this happen ? I remember getting vette's affection to over 9k before hitting lev 30 thru constant solo runs thr black talon and getting 300 cp per run. after Act 1 finished, i had about a dozen conversations with vette ending in a marriage ceremony, then over the next few days i got a few emails with gifts from her. at this point id only just unlocked dark side jaesa. [edit] the last conv with vette, she told me she was here for the long haul regardless of other apprentices etc, i assumed that was the last conv in her storyline, hence ive had no more convs with her since. I actually wanted to get the quest where u have to choose between them but i dont recall getting that. later I remember jaesa askling me to end it with vette, so i agreed, (but id already married vette) Now jaesa calls me husband... bugged cos I married vette so early ? not that i mind having 2 wifes, although i havent had a conversation with vette for ages, I havent finished act 3 yet, so maybe ill get something then vette has been at 10k for ages, while jaesa is something like 9.6

I know theres lots of bugs in the game, but the one i get frequently is when im trying to mail stuff to my alts and have to type their names every single time. Everyday i try to add my alt names to my friends list but always get "PLayer does not exist" seems such a small thing to fix, and i bet it affects everyone. My main is fine, I can add all my alts to that friends list, its all the alts that have the problem.

ive played a ton of mmo's over the years, yes inc wow i played eq ofc, and a load more since then. I still play wow, but with most of the others, i played them for a few months and then quit, and I knew i would quit them when i started them. I can say with swtor, i wont quit and will still be playing for ages to come. maybe it is a wow clone, but im still enjoying it.

new and innovative ? wot abt the VO? and companion system ? im a quite sick of the QQ myself, the game is only like 3 months - give it a chance.

try and see, the acc creation process asks for an email address, but ill bet as soon as you enter the email you have already used on acc1 to create acc2 it will say that email addr has already been used. whats so bad about using a 2nd email address anyway?

i thought this had been cleared up. ive never seen that message when some1 is flying away from me they dissappear from view, their portrait blanks out (but their health stat doesnt and is still updated) and theirs no tooltip saying they are in a different phase how long ago did u play wow ?

exhaustion zones are pretty lame, i didnt encounter one till i went to Hoth, i was completely immersed climbing a mountain, just for the exploration factor before i reached the top, i hit this exhaustion zone and started dying i was like, *** is this all about.

you're talking about one specific item and wrongly deduce that the whole wow world is instanced when it isnt. the example you are talking about is one quest, that may have been instanced but game world of wow isnt, only the dungeons are.

you are confusing zones with instances.... Yes Zones are separated by loading screens. dungeons are instanced ie there muiltiple copies of the same area every time a group randomly selects a dungeon, a new instance of that dungeon is created just for them. When another a group selects the same dungeon, a another instance of it is created, just for them. but the azeroth world is zoned - there arnt multiple copies of stormwind each with a 100 ppl in it, there is only one with everybody in it. there are multiple zones that make up azeroth, eg Eastern Kingdoms is 1 zone, Kalimdor is another zone, Northrend is another one. There is only 1 copy of each. If there was multiple copies of Northrend for eg, then yes then it would be instanced. but the world is not instanced, only raids and dungeons, firelands is a raid so thats instanced. the molten front is phased, players on different parts of the story quest see different versions of the molten front, but there is only 1 copy of each.

talking about eve quickly, yes its one server (or multiple servers creating one world) but there is only 1 game world, and that is zoned. every time you use a gate in eve to get to another system, you are entering a new zone. im not sure about missions in eve, i wouldnt know if there are zoned or not cos i dont know if other ppl can pick up the same mission as u.

precisely i think ppl are getting confused, instances are mulitlpe copies of the same area as in dungeons for example. obviously in wow and swtor all dungeons/fp are instanced, you couldnt manage an mmo without them - so i assume the OP is talking about the world and not dungeons. taking wow, azeroth is zoned, not instanced, theres only one copy of the lands. u can fly from one end of kalimdor to the other, its one zone. the eastern kingdoms is another zone. swtor is instanced, in the imp fleet, you can change which instance u are in using the world map.

it would be a non-issue if the new one worked. the whole bar stays dark even after the gcd is finished, i dont might the flashing its bar darkening thats screwing it for me.

Yep the wow gcd indicator is like a the arm of clock - as in it goes round in a circle starting and finishing at the top. its always worked fine, and theres never been an issue with it flashing to much or getting to dark.

as others have said - the darkening of the abilities makes them impossible to see. just have a bar scrolling down the ability box to show the CD but keep it lit up, or even 80% lit up so its not completely dark. whoever rolled out this change out doesnt play the game..... was happy with the old system btw - why did they change it ?

you can add offline players but..... on the 1st char i made i can add all my alts using the UI - obviously they are offline. on the 2nd char I made I can add all my alts and the 1st char on the 3rd Char I cant add the 1st or 2nd char, but I can add the 4th alt on the 4th alt I cant add any of my other alts. seems the first char u make u can add all ur alts but in progressive alts you make, you can only add alts that are created after it. so it seems you cant add names that were created before the char your trying to add them to. needs to be fixed, i h8 typing alts names in the mailbox.

when I saw this post i thought u were going to complain about the balloon despawning but what i read was a massive whine about wait times. so basically you wrote this post about having to wait. you do know that the balloon can despawn on you just as it nears the datacrons and you have to do the waiting all over again. wot u gonna do when that happens storm the BW offices? QQ

i got the molten naga mouse the damn thing is to small for my hand and i aint got big hands, so watch out for that, its a small mouse plus i have other mice with lots of buttons but swtor doesnt recoginise all them so again that sucks. any1 know a multi buttoned large mouse where all the buttons are recognised plz ?
