  1. But they did say that struggling guilds could get the boost they need to get over the progression hump. They also wanted a gearing incentive. I dont think that is the effect they will see though.
  2. This is discouraging. One of the worst things to happen is to balance classes through a lens of pvp. The effects are felt in pve. I bit the bullet the last time we needed to engage in ranked pvp for pve gear. It was a horrible experience, one that I will never repeat. It is ironic that preceding the post to 6.1.4 is about "toxic environment" yet the plan is expose all of us to the most toxic environment in this game. I wish pvp and pve were separated in every way, including gear rewards, and progression to prevent any bleed through of the respective communities.

  4. I guess Im really lost, but isnt 75 the cap? How are stats scaled down from the cap? I really am confused here..lol
  5. Has anyone else noticed a dramatic drop in health while in a flaspoint or operation? When I am on the fleet or SH I have about 220k HP. In FP's that are not scaled I drop down to about 109 HP, less than half.
  6. Like OP said, HB and WZ Sents are not that great. They dont have as good of a set of tools to work with. W/o a healer they dont last long in an arena
  7. I have felt that way for years. I love my Sent, but I hate pvping with my sent. Its a SS from start to finish. Soon as I bring another class..any class..it feels more balanced.
  8. I had 4 toons complete the weekly. I chose upper body on three of them, three times I got gloves. So am I really unlucky, or is this "glove" week?
  9. That about my experience as well, however I still mostly sorc top the charts.Its nice to be able to hit a healer and actually see some dmg!

  13. From what I understand is the difference in color crystals had more to do with refining techniques then with light/dark alignment. Its not like the crystals are kryptonite!
  14. Bio admitted to Sents/Mar having quality of life issues, and dps output is not any better then any other dps class...sage/sorc routinely out dps us in pvp. How do you know that any of the posters are "baddies" and why should I believe you know what your doing simply because your qqing a perceived qqer? With out our defensive cds we would have our armor ripped off by BH or be stunlocked straight to the penalty box..Our dps is only on par with other dps classes..as intended by Bio..which is fine, but some offensive utility would be helpful in pvp situations..straight dps can be mitigated as melee can be stopped cold

  16. Did you record your miraculous 1 shot on every boss at every difficulty? If not, and you did indeed do that, good for you. sents have 2 to 3 defensive cd and take lets say garj who aoe's 10-15 sec...yes you can run away from the pounce to help mitigate dmg..or blow a cd to stay in the fight..either way dps is shut down or the healers work harder to keep you up then ranged...thus the disparity. You even admit that, all be it as an insult However the mechanic does exist, and it does affect the players who are melee trying to get into operations
  17. Dont care what is posted in other forums...I will just say that we have it pretty rough in hutball..push/pull and ranged win those matches.
  18. Knockdown or single target stun, ya we would be pretty tough..just like an operative...but a knockback would not make sents op

The point is not that melee should have the ability to have sustained burst dmg...thats an oxymoron and non-sense...its that melee is cc, stuned, knocked back, or in some cases simply unable to get to the boss to do any dmg or focus build, so our dps for certain periods of time is ZERO...that is a complete shut down and have an effect much larger then what is intended in the standard model of build up/ ability dump burst that melee is noted for. Look wether you get what Im saying or not is irrelevant, the fact is melee is a liability in ops, with the only exception being the buff sent/mara's have. I have witnessed it first hand. HM garj for one thing...when you have mostly melee, even well equipped, you have a damed hard time beating the enrage timer vs moderatly equipped ranged. Understand no one...and to reiterate NO ONE is saying that melee should have sustained burst (snicker)...but as it stands right now melee can not perform what it needs to do in many if not most of the bosses out there, and they ARE being excluded from operations because they have been designed out of them
  22. Yes that is true...honestly I havent tried a ranged yet, so I cant speak to what they see in ops. However ranged can keep some dps on target while in transit while melee is shut down particularly melee with out any dots. No melee has a sustained burst dmg...its a build up then focus/rage dump..so yes if they were to keep dps at the brust lvls they would indeed be op..but that's not the issue. Its the time spent with no dps or focus build...which when trying to beat an enrage timer in HM or NM is more challenging for melee and could make difference.
