I'm also disappointed with the quickbars because I don't have room for all my class skills, don't mind the rest of the restrictions that much either. I guess I'll have to throw out some skills with long cooldowns, I see no other way
I guess I read it wrong but I was expecting that you would only need to unlock those 2 newly added bars.
..so, you could skip those with stats that don't do anything for your character if you're not a completionist.
e.g. skip aim if you're not a trooper/BH, skip strength if you're not a knight/warrior, etc.
Cool looking green and blue gear without orange counterparts make me sad.
There's also some great looking stuff in promotional videos that turned out to be of that same not-too-great quality, shame...
Check the stats of that lvl 32 relic somewhere and see what's on the market first, it's not impossible that you can buy something better for that 20k that you'd have to pay to disassemble your relic once you get to 50. They are quite good for their level compared to some random relic but you are quite overleveled for the lvl 32 one.
edit: also check the relics at the light/dark side vendor, they're only green but cheap.
In WoW you have like one zone of a certain level range for every race (at least for the early levels, not at high levels), so if it was 100% repeating for you then you were just ignoring the alternative zones.
That freedom to take another route made it less boring for me to level an alt. I wish we had that with the planets in TOR.
Yeah, it's allowed but I'd use the trade chat channel to avoid any annoyances, that is what it's for and everyone joins it automatically by default. I think it's channel /3 by default...
I guess it has a fitting atmosphere but I did some space & FPs on my 2nd char so that I didn't have to kill another million rakghouls ^^
Maybe replace some rakghoul enemies with infected wildlife to add some variation.
Yep, because they're working on a better solution than having 3 sets with the same look. I think through different kinds of armoring.
I think I read "in one of the upcoming patches", not guaranteed to be in the next update yet.
I was wondering the same, I guess there is an indirect level requirement.
I have Kira at max., am level 45, but it looks like that's not enough.
It's no problem for me but it is kinda confusing.
If it's this:

..then it looks to be from armormech, but I only see schematics for boots next to the chest. So I think the rest are drops -> http://www.torhead.com/search/RD-12B%20War#items
You want gear that makes you feel like the characters in the Star Wars movies? That's crazy talk man! -.-
I use a trooper chest on my knight and Sand People chest on my consular because of a lack of nicer gear. I can even make all light and heavy orange gear from synthweaving, but there isn't really anything in there that I like better :/

It's viable, you just do more 'healing your companion' and less damaging mobs yourself.
I think a big plus is that you get to learn the tools of your trade, if you go heal at 50 then you need some time to learn how to play that style.
Keep in mind that you can always respec your skill trees if you want to try the other role that your adv. class can perform.
Don't worry, no damage to gear, just let it happen.
If you like to waste 2k on the vaccine then you can get it on one of the 3 fleet ships too, the Gav Daragon for Republic. So not just on Tatooine.
