  1. Basically a chill player that has returned to the game. I used to do both progression Raiding (SoA wayyyy back when) and hardcore PvP back when the game first came out. I did this all on my Immortal Jugg. Did this similarly in SWG/WoW/AoC I took a break from MMOs in general, but now that I am getting married I find my self with more free time and craving to get back into HM raiding content and PvP on the side. I hit the books before playing any class, min max, and do my due diligence to play optimally. I am looking for a guild of relaxed raiders/pvpers who play to have fun, but is able to focus when its time to clear content. I am almost finished gearing my PT for HM content, will probably gear out my Jugg afterward, Powertech is just too much fun though. I am PST, work a normal 9-5, so most raiding schedules will work for me. I also have a tag-along Lightning Sorc, he is one of my best friends, I doubt he will care to raid HM content, but we are always guilded together and would prefer to stay that way. If you want to get a hold of me: Trexin (Main PT Tank) Wrexinn (Immortal Jugg alt) Vextorian (DPS Merc alt) Plexin
  2. I know a lot of Rage juggs who sacrifice the accuracy talents from veng to pick up ravager (10% on ravage, from the immortal tree), including myself. For Rage spec, majority of your damage comes from scream/smash which ignore defenses (parry, dodge and the sort) so you honestly don't need accuracy. I think i run a total of 1.7% from gear and 1% from talents for those last 3 abilities you use Sundering Assault, Vicious Slash, and Ravage. For Rage you only get power and surge for your secondary stats on your gear, I run main stat > power for augments because i'll take a 1.5% increase in crit (from strength and the 6% strength talent) over +4-5 damage from equal power. I can't comment on vengeance because it is too time consuming for me to min max a tank set for ranked, a rage set for regstar (regular WZs) and then also have pieces min/maxed for vengeance while also farming out Conqueror tank set.

    Pugs-

Regardless of heal train or not, DPS specs should be putting out 600k+ in a full length WZ (even more for void star if you're an AoE spec). The heal train allows for uptime. Most this pugs won't break 200k when my tank geared tank spec jugg does 200-300k DPS on top of 150k-300k protection. And I only solo queue (not starting today my pocket healer finally hit 55). You ever read the post by the guy who pointed out that you could basically use ONLY your basic attack and still get 170k in a full game. That means most of those pugs were literally not pressing buttons... You don't need a healer or a tank guard to do high damage, you just need to not be in a coma.

    Stupid grenades

Same thing with people using Warzone medpacks and adrenals regs, people want the advantage then let them have it. I don't need anything outside my class' skill set to dominate regs, so I don't bother wasting money on it (I prefer to dump my credits into the GTN for cartel crap and cosmetic stuff). Ranked is another story, everyone should be doing everything possible to maximize their play, who cares if it's more CC, when resolve works you get your 15 sec of freedom lol. Yes even more CC is annoying, but is it game breaking? No, it just adds another tool to your kit and it is up to you if you want to take advantage of it.

Dat Imp damage.... Forcing me to spec rage mid god damn warzone...
  6. No I don't need to compare. Option one I have reflects absolute certainty and option two is statistical certainty (should happen, but doesn't reflect what does happen)
  7. Honestly they should price point based on current odds of obtaining a dye. People are naturally risk adverse, I bet they would rather pay 10$ for a specific dye than 10$ at a chance to get it (probabilistic ally speaking you should have gotten it but you could be unlucky) then selling off the endless worthless dies no one wants for pennies on the GTN to turn some extra "profit". Keep the profit bioware I want the guarenteed dye. I've been around since closed beta, the PvP battlemasters bags were a horrendous idea and they had to change that model. I don't see why we can't have set prices on dyes and purchase them that way. Your profit margins will inevitably go down, but the volume at which you sell at would most likely go up because people who would have typically not have risked it, now are purchasing.
  8. I think making the enraged defense for each tree unique is the best route. For rage I would personally like a substantial mitigation for the first attack and it diminishes for each attack during the duration. Or even the defensive version of Force Crush. Starts with 50% (we can easily adjust this to like 30% so it's inline with veng) mitigation and drops by 5% every second. This way it becomes a higher skill cap like saber reflect. You have to time it to make the most of the mitigationfrom the ability. I almost exclusively play rage for regs and tank for RWZs. I enjoy the play style of veng, just doesn't have that oomf I enjoy from rage.
  9. Solo queue is frustrating, not just in this game but every game that I have ever played. If you have played LoL then you know how frustrating climbing ladders can be solo. Be the best you can be, always try to prove your strategy and skill. Don't come on to the boards and tell us that such and such is OP, ask for help in how to be better. People with more experience and higher skill level will gladly give you advice on what you could improve. If you come here complaining, we won't have anything constructive to say other than L2P, and you honestly don't deserve anything more. As many other people have said countless times in countless threads, group with a friend, focus fire, coordinate CC, communicate. You don't need a full premade to win, you just need to play your role optimally.
  10. I use focus conditionally. Typically it's an enemy healer, so I can quickly swap to the focus and charge/interrupt/CC them. This is incredibly useful when there is cross healing. When there isn't cross healing I focus target my healer for quick intercede followed by various taunts and CC to keep him alive under focus fire. In brief, focus target is different depending on your role/class and the situation you are in. On a side note, screw bioware for not letting me use Alt as a modifier for focus target, *** is up with that?
  11. I made venruki so furious back in vanilla/tbc when i beat him on my hunter down in dun'moroh lake (Detheroc represent). Back then good hunters were not the best of duelers.
  12. Sign me up: Drakkur, Jugg (My the alt you can find me on if I'm not on Drakkur: Vextorian and Drak'ken)
  13. http://www.arenajunkies.com/user/11692-drakkur/ Playeded Cata for a month and immediately quit. WoW was the type of game I would quit 6month to a year at a time. My character on this server is "Drakkur" Rage/DPS Immortal Jugg.
  14. Hi all! So I'm typically a hardcore pvper, but my IRL job is as a pricing analyst (also working on my MA in Econ). So as a hobby I decided to make a spreadsheet for this game, something I do for my managers at work and personal use. The goals of this spreadsheet are to have complete information regarding crafted items and missions that you can run with teir respective returns. What it Currently has: A companion page that you can select any class, auto populates their companions, their respective skill bonuses. Also you can input their affection and it will calculate based on the difficulty of the mission the expected critical rate as a percent. There is a page for expected unit returns for missions (basically using the data mined information from other people to calculate the expected value of various missions based on the inputs of the user. That expect return is then used to calculate the net profit of a specific mission or opportunity cost if you are crafting. This page is only populated with slicing and bioanalysis missions, my goal is to have every rich and bountiful mission in the game along with crafting materials missions. There are multiple pricing pages, this is where you input the current minimum prices for various stack sizes from the GTN to calculate the daily market unit price. These are used to calculate the total cost of crafted goods, opportunity cost and revenue for missions/harvesting. There are multiple pages for each item category for tracking net profit for crafted items. So you would select and implant form the drop down menu, input the price you sold it at and it will generate the net profit after GTN commission, this will not include opportunity cost because that varies between each players based on selected skills. There will be an analysis page that shows you trends in market prices, trends in your profit, and other visual/graphic tools to help you generate more income. What I would like from you. Since I only have 2 characters with max level professions, so a total is 5 different skills maxed out (Cyber Scav Biochem Bioanalysis and Underworld Trading). I've been trying to find comprehensive mission lists and their returns but doesn't seem to exist. SO if there is a mission you want tracked I would need you to Write the name of the mission down, it's respective Crew Skill, the regular returns of tht mission and the critical returns of that mission (including epics). This goes the same for crafted items, I need the item name, crew skill, and materials required. HERE IS THE SPREADSHEET,IT IS ONLY USEABLE IN EXCEL 2010 This is due to a list referencing issue between 2010 and other versions of excel. When I'm done I may one day spend the time to make it backward compatible but we will see. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8dsXW4g1HtFRW9vN3BjSFYwU1E/edit?usp=sharing
  15. Like the title says I'm a huggernaut, I belive the best way to win, as stated by my mentor Cuddles the Bear, "Hug thy enemy till ist falls". You can think of me like Lenny from Of Mice and Men, I like hugging things, but sometimes I just hug too hard. I am looking for a team that will appreciate my innovative PvP style, I think I'd be an astounding addition to any team. I hug everything, specially healers, I hug em so well they stop healing and hug back. I played this game at release as a great juggernaut, both smash monkey and immortal tank. After a few months game got boring from being on top and no rated Wz to play so I quit. So now I'm back, but this time I'm hugging my way to the top! I played on so of the top teams in the world in WoW arena (as a hunter), during both TBC and WOTLK, w/ Sodah, Venruki, and Sonydigital. But since WoW is junk and isn't relevant anymore you can ignore it. I'm gearing up to be both a lolsmash huggernaut and a tank huggernaut, I enjoy tanking more since it's provided more utility. Contact me in game if your team needs a legit huggernaut. My in game name is Drakkur.
