  1. Switch to sandbox. move away from the dye modules go open world overhaul space combat, and space travel in general to sandbox, open world, and allow use of a flight controller. Basically make it mostly like Galaxies or Everquest, keep the rest.
  2. You've obviously not played any of Everquest. The leveling didn't get easier at all. On the contrary it's gotten harder as the game has aged. Still fun. But not easy. Not by ANY means
  3. That was rough for me too. I did it both ways, and let me tell ya, it's dramatic either decision you make. Some fine storytelling there.
  4. People are NEVER happy. I played with the OP companions, fine. I played with the nuked ones, didn't see much of a change, playing with the ones now, same thing, not seeing much of a change. I can still solo the Star Fortresses if I want to, could with OP, could with Nuked, can now. I'm just happy I can use the ones I wanna use, and get the role for them I want. I understand constructive criticism, but when you make a new thread after a feedback thread has been provided, it becomes whining.
  5. By the Force! This had died, and was buried peacefully, leave it be.
  6. All of your points Op, have this same "I'm entitled so wahhhh waaaaahhhhhhhhhhh WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" attitude about them. You'll get your original companions back as time goes on, level sync is there, it lowers your level, you want it even harder, get level specific equipment and go from there, crafting..dunno about that I rarely craft.
  7. I believe in the K.I.S.S method. Check to make sure your fan is running on the graphics card, if it's not, there's your problem. I realize you said you've ruled out overheating on the computer, but you didn't say anything about the graphics card itself. Check that first. I'm speaking from personal experience, currently I have a fan blowing cool air up onto my vid card to keep it from overheating.
  8. I think the OP means minus the PvP feature of it. Turn it more into like what we saw in Episode II when Obi-wan and Anakin went after the bounty hunter into the Cantina. Not really feasible, but a decent idea none the less
  9. So, instead of a fully immersive dying system that allows us to customize our armor and such to the point that Sith Lord A does not resemble Sith Lord B cept in caliber of armor class, you've decided you get to tell us what colors we get to choose, and where we get to put them. Seriously guys? C'mon. Everquest got this right the first time, let us choose what color we want as our primary, and what color we want as our secondary. It's not that difficult. If I had the resources you all have available to you, it's something I could do. This seems like a halfway done attempt. Seriously, there's 256 colors on the color palette, yes, I understand you have to apply those colors to each item individually, yes, I know it take a while to get that done, but better to take a while, and get it done right, than to roll out something half done. We're working on year 2 of this game being out guys, and I am a huge fan, but the half done crap effort being put into anything that isn't the Cartel Market is shameful, and sad.
  10. Lehon would be most interesting, coming back to it after all this time, seeing what it looks like, how the Rakata have evolved on that world...Lehon gets my vote.
  11. This entire thread is ultimately a failure because the word because is misspelled. Now, with that said, I'm not going to trust the word of a person who failed at spelling as simple a word as because.
  12. Dantooine Manaan Telos Pretty much anywhere Revan and Meetra visited. Maybe Mandalore, the Malachor planets system...the Five Brothers, I'd like to see all of these..but I think it's time to leave the planets from 1-6 alone for a bit.
  13. Because not everyone is lucky enough to find an orange piece of gear that they like, or that's up to par, or both. I've inventoried orange gear for a blue or purple piece of gear simply because it had much better stats than the orange I was using.
  14. Pointless idea. Gotta have tiered armor sets. The Orange gear is kinda like a reward, or just a luck of the draw drop. Makes little sense from a progression stand point to offer nothing but Orange gear from the outset. It'd be nice, but then everything'd be just a wee bit easier than it is now, and frankly, I'd prefer it if things were a bit harder
  15. I'd like to know why this beat to death topic continues to be beaten to death. It's not even a corpse now, it's a bloody stain being flailed at. Time to let it go.
  16. They've fixed the issue with the Sith Pureblood not displaying certain headgear correctly, you're good to go.
  17. My eyes are wide open. Infact, last night, four out of five or so servers were in Heavy population. One of them was standard, that seems pretty good to me. Or are you blind to those words that say HEAVY, STANDARD, LIGHT? And yes, I'm telling him to get a life. I myself have one other than this game, and it's quite amazing. I've went back to school after being out in the real world for fourteen years, I'm a member of a few clubs in the community, ect, ect. I do not spend all my time playing this game, it's a great game, but I don't live on it. What's pathetic is people can't see a stable community, and hafta keep trying to push down a game, simply because there's no instant gratification for them in it. Population drop causing servers to merge? Yup. I acknowledged it, chalk it up to people wanting the instant gratification thing. Population drop after servers merged? Really? Again...last night four out of the five or so servers were in HEAVY population, the other two were standard, and that fluxed between standard and heavy while I played. So tell me more about the population drop, ontop of the fact I've brought a few people into the game who happen to really enjoy it, so yeah, tell me how people coming in, is dropping the population. People won't be happy regardless of what happens. That's just plain fact, end of story, buh-bye. They do this for Group B, Group C wants that, they do that, group B wants this...it goes on and on and on. And yes. NEW CONTENT. A new companion, and a new planet. Oh, wait, what's that? It doesn't further the individual storylines you say? Well, you are part of group B, and I'm a part of group C. Bottom line: No one is forcing you to stay in the GFFA, rage quit if you like, or, hang around and see what happens next.
  18. If you're so bitter toward Star Wars, what're you doing on a Star Wars board? Or playing a Star Wars game? Enlighten me here.
  19. Let's weigh in on this subject as well. Ok, you're a bounty hunter, and your sister is a Jedi. This means one of two things: Either you have no Force Sensitivity at all, or you were too old, yes too old to begin the training. Either way, you won't know how to use a lightsaber. It takes practice to use the things, the plasma has gyroscopic rotations: Think a gyroscope, spinning at max speed, now imagine that gyroscope attached to a handle, and being three feet high..the rotation is going to be too much for you to handle..unless you have the knowledge to control the Force to control it. Moving on. I kinda agree with you about Saber stances. Why Shien? Why not Djem So? Or Makashi? I'd rather have Djem So than Shien. Something for Bioware to consider.
  20. Obvious Doomsayer is quite obvious. Also quite annoying, and old. (By that I mean get new material) The game isn't dying, it's not Bioware's or EA's fault you people rushed to 50, then rushed to complete everything. Only ones at fault for that is yourselves. Everquest was a year and a half releasing Kunark. WoW was two years releasing their first content after initial release. That being said, EA/Bioware have released content at a pretty reasonable rate. We're at 1.4.something, and they're getting ready to release yet another planet, and a new companion, and the game ISN'T EVEN A YEAR OLD YET. People need to chill. And not just on the doomsaying. Get a life. Don't devote all your time to a game.
  21. Kinda like the way they used most of Blizzard's ideas from the get go? Which a bunch of people complained about, calling it a "WoW with lightsabers"? People want less WoW related stuff, they get it, then they complain that it isn't quite like how Blizzard does things. I'm sorry but either you eat the cake, or you keep the cake, it ain't going to be both you eat it and have it. I for one have no issues with having to go through a Flashpoint to get HK-51. Kinda ridiculous that people're complaining about it considering they're getting exactly what they asked for: Less WoW like stuff. My two credits.
