I'm a focus guardian. I farm medals in warzones with champion+ gears, at least 400 expertise, then the rest top end pve gear. Then try that spec that I know you obviously haven't tried yet, because you're complaining we suck (we really don't) Run the Jugg Focus variant in soresu sometime, BIND YOUR GUARD KEY so you can do it constantly. guard your healers/ball carrier and sweep nuke/blade storm to dispatch everyone. I come out of warzones with AT LEAST 10 medals, and 200k damage, 30-50k prot, with 15k healing, and sometimes MVP if anyone notices how much i'm running around doing. I also crit for 4.5k regularly... that's huge in this game, especially for 5 max targets? Srsly man, wake up, we don't suck. PVP in general is a whole other story.

Haha word... On a real PVP server for SWG, it turned out to be imbalanced just like this game, Imps being favored. People were actually willing to pvp then in an awesome fashion. -Bloodfin vet

whenever a room is clear and a bomb is ready to plant, I leap and use my aoe mez as soon as the respawners pop out, buying the bomber precious seconds. I can tell it pisses the other team off, meanwhile 4-6 people take a few seconds to realize they just got owned.

Either way it's not even that bad... It guarantees champ comms for gear just slightly less useful than battle master... Whats the prob, bob? This RNG system ensures that not everyone gets top notch **** asap, and leaves a small, but annoyingly noticeable gap to those who choose to squint and see it. (No combat log for this anyway, you're basing any gear-gap on your personal experiences, not any real data) Because this game is easy, I'm okay with everyone being left to a little chance. It may just be the only thing done right with PvP and it's current state... You know... With battle master's running in droves these days.

It's a pretty passive and anti-climatic threat in the first place. Nothin' to cry about here, back to your Linkin Park CD.

I've spent the last 2 months basically being a BioWare fan boy and telling everyone to suck it up, but this finally got to me. While it has been said to be fixed, it simply is not. Today, they were picked up fresh from the mission oven, when I logged in. I immediately win my first game with ease and a great team. Still 0/3 So I abandon and try again... I go another 4 wins in a row, for 5 wins, total. I'm only at 2/3 not wanting to re-abandon and hope stars align so I can get my daily. I can't sit here playing 10 games in a row hoping 3 will count. Each game roughly 15 minutes, that's 2+ hours when it should've been 45 min. Cliched as it is, I wouldn't resub if this is still going on when the time comes, hard to see many others putting up with it much longer.

You do know that they raised the population caps of servers right? That was one of the very first things BioWare did. Some had wait times during the first free month, within a day or two, did not. Inform yourself, you were probably there.

Your post isn't exactly bursting with reasons why SWTOR won't be f2p. This game will last a few years with the subscriptions, simply because of the Star Wars name which is being milked dry for years.

THANK YOU +1 It's a half *** way. The only time "left" or "right" is viable is in alderaan or huttball. NOT IN VOIDSTAR... I said this to someone on my server and they got defensive when I told them to say East or West, not left or right. It doesn't help the people who are still out there fighting, they are the only ones who can stop the bomb anyway, not people stuck in the spawn. If you meant "left" from the spawn it won't mean anything to the people who are alive and can actually help, most of the time. His argument was "There's no north, south, east, or west in space, retard!" While I agreed with him, the ****in' red words stapled across our screen says "WEST BOMB HAS BEEN PLANTED"

Battle master/champ geared like a mutt, focus spec. Sweeps critting for 5.5k on multiple people without adrenals, only relics. dispatch has gotten 6k+ blade storms 4k or so. It's really fun. Turn on soresu form and guard your healers/dps to farm more medals. You wont have a problem getting the damage ones as a whirling dervish in focus spec.

I'd be happy if the ridiculous shoulder pad was removed. I don't know how easily this could be done, but it looks like a completely separate piece that was added last minute. In a left side view, when looking up from under neath the pad with the camera, I can see under it all the way to my neck. It barely touches the shoulder at all and is almost floating. Please just take it off and the jump suit style would look just fine. Then consider a robe over it, or old armor designs from the game with new stats, and changing the helmet to something like you had in the KOTOR games... I can't really picture a Jedi Knight with any sort of helmet at all. (the visible ear pieces from KOTOR in the back of the head were alright I guess)

It's a communal fault. There is nothing in the Terms of Use against diplomacy and coordinating fight clubs, like so. What did you expect? Video game players to have a sense of chivalry? I wished for that, but didn't expect it. You can have 2 characters in different factions and different guilds, on the same server. You can literally be on your alt and apart of the guild you're trading kills with in either faction. The above reasons are "working as intended." You can report this behavior to an in-game ticket master, see what they will tell you. Even with a language barrier, limited faction choice, people could still coordinate on voice chat servers/game forums all over the internet. As far as I can tell there is no fix and if you quit this game for it, you'll end up seeing it in another, I can guarantee that.

By partaking in this pseudo-exploit, I realize I'm jeopardizing my own game time and all of the valor I have earned. I mean no disrespect to the developers that implemented this, but the communities awareness needs to be heightened. For the sake of a better game for all I willingly admit: I'm level 50, rank 61 battle master on Black Vulkars, Elhaym Van-houten. If you're not level 50 don't even trip out about it. Whether you believe people or not, I sincerely have done valor trading and went from 50-60 in 6 hours. (for the record I war zoned to Lv50 Champion, "legit style.") I was averaging 7,000 valor every 3 minutes in a secluded location on Ilum. It's usually done in seclusion because people come in and try to stall it for obvious reasons. Others will capture points all throughout the map, increasing the valor for either side. You trade capture points every time its your turn, so you gain the valor benefits of the next trade. with 200 valor per kill (tops) and killing 40-60 imps every 3 minutes ? I ADMIT: As a republic, I was happy to help and very gracious for letting us do this to them, considering everyday has been a valor farm zerg fest for the Imperial faction since day 1 and at any moment they could have just steam rolled us and laughed. What's happening here is our full raid group is piled up about 20-30 meters away, while their group consisting of 2+ raid groups does the same. Take turns for the benefits. This really shouldn't be a surprise. It happens on other genres of games as well... Even with something as simple as StarCraft 2 portrait farming. A pointless picture for everyone to see. People (including me) can be scandalous.

This is a fine point. Being stuck in the spawn sucks. Gear can only delay that so much though. If anything is delaying it it's Expertise and a great team. Expertise is a highly debatable topic and could easily be added in small quantities to purchasable pvp gear for fresh 50's. Its mostly comes down to your composition of players, and what you have them do at any point of a match, like you're saying... Which actually does have a lot to do with skill, not sure why people think you can auto win after a certain gearing point.

Why ***** about gear disparities in PvP when literally NONE of the war zones are Team Death Match? You don't need to be killing anyone in this game. You just need to hit them once when they are trying to cap something. The entitlement issues with some players is whats killing this game. In every aspect of it. PVE, PVP, the valor traders who think it's their right, the pre-1.1 battlemasters who think it's THEIR privilege ... Seriously. Shut mouth already. You could literally play and win all your war zone dailies without killing ANYONE, just HITTING them and doing 1 point of damage is enough to win a game. (Let someone else kill the ball carrier in HB or simply push them into fire) Even if you LOSE! you STILL get commendations to have a chance at PvP gear. I don't get it people. Hopefully by this point you're "seeing the error of your ways." You literally have nothing to ***** in this case. you can even PVE and get great gear to PVP in, Get in there and do it. Mix and match a few from PVP for some expertise when you queue.
