  1. Good question. OP, care to answer? No, it's too good (requires brain to play), and we don't want the WoW herd anywhere near here thank you very much!
  2. Sheep. Where one goes, the others inevitably follow. Just saying.
  3. 10 million active subscribers, at one time? Doubtful. 10 million accounts, including trial and previous customers? More likely. The crux of the matter, WoW is showing its age, and is just a poor game in many respects. Grind, grind, grind, grind... boring. Sorry, been there, done that, not doing it again. SWTOR may not have all the things WoW now has (which by the way took 5 years), but it's a fun game, and that's all I care about. Way too many late term WoW players here, who think WoW had all of that stuff on release. I would say morons, but that would be an insult to a moron.
  4. Indeed. Sad thing is, said whiners probably left the game anyway, and the majority were then stuck with the changes they had brought about. Forum whiners = vocal minority. This is a fact.
  5. Don't hold your breath. An MMO with no monthly fee? There's going to be a catch, there always is (and was with the first GW).
  6. Well, I'd take the current WoW over the release WoW any day of the week, and to be honest they're both pretty bad anyway. But not so bad is way better than just plain bad.
  7. By demanding a departure from the very things which made the game A) fun, and B) different from most other MMOs at that time. Pretty obvious really, especially when they lost nearly half their subscribers over night when NGE hit, what does that tell you? Don't listen to the community too much, it can and will ruin your game!
  8. To be honest, most MMOs follow a particular style, and there's really only superficial differences between them all. No idea why people expected this one to be a total departure from the norm, because that is not how game design works. What makes this game worth playing over others? Two things, for me anyway, and that would be 1) fully voiced quest dialogue, and 2) it's Star Wars. It's not perfect, but it's leaps and bounds ahead of SWG, and people were still playing that game up until it closed.
  9. Dual spec would be good for heroics; I find there are times when I would like to switch from a DPS build, to a tanking build, because the group needs one. Sure, I can throw on a tank stance/form, but it's not the same as having the proper build. I really don't see why having one would be such a big issue, and as others have stated, most MMOs have this particular feature or at least something like it.
  10. It did, to a point. Stopped before the latest expansion mind you, but it was definitely a better game than when first launched. Worse, but only because they tried to appease the same type of whiners we have here.
  11. Then you're on a messed up server, because I regularly see 160+ on Republic, and near 200+ on Empire, and my server isn't even the most populated either. Re-roll on a more populated one if it's that big of a deal for you.
  12. Servers merged, queue time increased to 10 hours. Instances removed, queue time increased to 10 hours, and game unplayable on anything bar the most up to date systems. What the hell is wrong with you people, do you like crowds of people stealing your mobs/quest items, and lagging the hell out of everything? Why do you really need 300+ players in a single area? What purpose does it serve you as the individual? None, that's what, so get over it or go and play something else.
  13. Well, many come from a certain MMO (which will remain nameless), and as such think that their opinions are fact. When in actuality they know next to nothing about what is successful and what isn't, as they have experience of that one game, and that one game alone.
  14. Indeed, and yet it still sucks. But hey, everyone else is doing it, so you should too right? Great logic! Sheep mentality at its finest.
  15. Then I suggest you go and rage on every other game forum in existence, because it is a universal constant for video game releases.
  16. Bye. The rest of us will continue to enjoy the game, thanks.
  17. The OP rushes to level 50 in a game which has only just been released, and then complains about lack of polish. Hilarious.
  18. Less, if anything. OP has clearly never played most MMOs.
  19. Ouch, looking for a new job, or did they just confiscate your account for the night?
  20. If a pile of broken crap like Galaxies can survive near 7 years as P2P, then I really don't see why a far superior game would end up F2P in 6 months. Wishful thinking on your part OP.
  21. It would be nice, but it's not ruining my enjoyment of the game.
