  1. I don't think eliminating same faction battlegrounds is going to encourage people to start a new character of the other faction. It's more likely to just frustrate people and reduce their play time.
  2. This has been going on now for over 4 hours. There's no way in hell they roll the servers back now. That's something you do immediately. The impact to all the people who didn't do anything "bad" at this point would be far more deleterious then whatever other resolutions they're considering.
  3. I like that for some reason, there are crystals growing in the middle of indoor, city planet hallways and sacred archaeological troves sitting in the middle of gang territory.
  4. Everyone already is stat boosted to 50.
  5. Why would my Twi'lek Sith Sorceror have the same last name as my Human Imperial Agent? This makes no sense to me.
  6. Mod tables actually do have an advantage. When you go to a mod table you can compare mods in your inventory to the ones equipped in your gear without taking the gear off.
  7. Wrong. You won't get as many commendations but you'll still get some and you'll get the same XP as everyone else on your team.
  8. I get "pre-aggro" all the time when I open up on a mob with a long cast time spell. It's pretty annoying and really bad programming.
  9. You still get full XP when you're 5 levels above a quest.
  10. It doesn't get to 5 Xp until you're 8 levels above the listed level for the quest. 8 levels is plenty of time to finish off quests. Why should you get relevant level XP for whatever it is you're doing besides questing AND for content that's so trivial you could solo 4 player heroics?
  11. Uh actually it's a statement from the COO of the company that made HeroEngine.
  12. ToR needs flying mounts, dual spec and cross-server LFD. Like WoW has.
  13. So basically over the next few months they're going to add in all the PvP features an MMO 6 years in development, costing hundreds of millions of dollars should have had at launch? Fantastic.
  14. Whether the normal mode is meant for more casual players or not is really irrelevant. It's asinine that gear is randomly distributed at all. I don't care if I'm raiding with 7 strangers or 7 friends, it's ridiculous that a piece of gear goes to someone who can't use it when someone in the group could simply because we're stuck with a sub-optimal system.
  15. Disgusting and insanely profitable which is, you know, the whole point of making a product.
