UNIQUE THREAD IS UNIQUE. Someone who DIDN'T want to subscribe, now IS subscribing, due to the combat responsiveness fix, and Kagara's Palace is really fun, just cleared on hard mode, and got an awesome looking mount! I have faith that Bioware knows what's it's doing now! Just fixes take a long time, and mmo's are digustingly complex! I understand why people would want to quit, given the bugs and so on, but I think you people who don't want to play the game should leave asap. <3 I think people are mad because they want Bioware to succeed and don't want to play WoW again, given that Blizzard hasn't put any effort in to raid content since Ulduar. This forum is effectively "criticise Bioware : get flamed", are none of you objective? I just want to be able to play with my friends in groups, in an MMO. \: Why shouldn't this be a condition of my subscription?

My friend is already at 100k respecs, if you want to pay them so that you can rest easy and not have to listen to someone slate the beloved Bioware, go ahead.

I play on an RP server for immersion :V Yep, I'm not even interested in being DPS, I just want to be able to run dungeons with a friend who also happens to be a tank.

derpa derpa missed the point of the post. Like it or not, WoW pretty much turned the mmo market from an economic joke into a potential goldmine. Sorry if that hurts your perceptions of reality.

Not having dual spec in a game that rips off WoW's talent system to every level but only allows 4 players to a group is a massive design flaw. In my group of friends there are 2 tanks, 2 healers, and 2 dps. We can't play together at the moment in dungeons, because there is no dual spec. Sometimes there's only 2 tanks and 2 healers online, if we had dual spec, we could switch to other roles in order to play together, but we can't, because there is no dual spec. In a game that uses the tank/healer/dps model, only 4 players to a group, AND, WoW's talent system, dual spec is a necessity, for solo play as well, which is secondary. It's not a case of "hur dur I want to do everything", it's a case of "I want to play with my friends, and not be punished for having friends who want to play the same class role as me." I can't subscribe to the game in it's current state, I was HOPING to be able to subscribe. Don't get me wrong, I love the game, it has massive potential, and I have absolutely no intentions of ever playing WoW again. 1-50 was the most enjoyable MMO experience I've had so far, but in end game... dual spec is a necessity.

Hell naw bro, I got 7 days played out of this game and enjoyed it as a single player game, like I said, levelling up was enjoyable. The main quest lines for each planet (after Dromund Kaas...) were very fun. If you read my post, you'd see that I am unsubscribing to the MMO portion of the game, the part of the game that doens't work.

I wanted to love this game, I quit WoW after playing SWTOR beta in July and, despite it being a buggy unpolished mess, I saw greatness in it, and honestly thought it could've been a game that could replace WoW at least to some degree. Before you QQ, I'm not going back to WoW, Blizzard has let WoW become a joke as well. My face when many of the crippling bugs in July beta/beta weekends are still in the game, many aren't even covered by 1.0.1, or 2. Yes I know it's Christmas & New Years - so why release a game during this period? EA got greedy, and released an unfinished, unpolished, flawed game, ignoring many of the massive massive threads from beta to complain about certain aspects of the game which were inherently flawed. Took us 20 minutes to get everyone into hard mode foundry, the game would only let people pick hard mode if they'd completed the associated call to arms quest - why can't we just select "hard mode" from the group menu? Burned through every boss until the last one, which was so bugged he was unkillable, we decided to die and reset, upon doing so, the entire instance reset itself, rather than let us figure out how to get around this crippling bug. Trade skills are broken, Cybertech cannot make any tanking mods, so there's another massive waste of time. I believe the same goes for many other professions being useless/waste of time. PVP is fun, purely because I have 9% damage/reduction from my expertise (got lucky with the Champion's Bags), but I doubt being a level 15 being completely and utterly destroyed by my premade can be enjoyable. (http://i.imgur.com/tat6E.jpg - Republic got a grand total of 5 kills in this battle...) This "free month" is free, because it's another beta test, one we've all had to pay for. I am confident Bioware isn't to blame, but more so the publishers/investors who were forcing them to do the impossible and release something that was nowhere near completion. ALL THIS SAID, I've thoroughly enjoyed the single player aspects of the game, levelling up with friends, group conversations were really fun. But, the unfortunate reality of this is that none of the choices matter squat... and then you realise it was all just a USP (unique selling point) to differentiate themselves in a market full of failed WoW clones. I'll keep checking in on darth hater's website and such to see if Bioware actually gets things sorted in the coming months, but I refuse to subscribe to a game that clearly isn't an mmo yet. TL;DR - Don't want to subscribe to a beta test the mmo portions of this game, which are unfinished, unpolished, buggy and broken at best. But, think the game has a strong basis upon which to improve, but, I'm not going to pay EA to do it, because they have millions of dollars. :V

Hi there. We recently tried to do HM Boarding Party but found that no matter what combination we killed the dudes in, they'd always enrage way too soon and gib our party. We tried killing them all together and that didn't work either. So my question is, is our dps just too low? Our best attempt was kill Massey > Grenade guy (forgot his name) and the medic last, getting the medic to about 75% HP before he enraged and 1 shot me through defensive cooldowns and almost fully epic gear (mostly made up of battlemaster pvp pieces tbf). Then when we spawned at the medical droid the dungeon said "Complete" and we werent able to enter to give it another try, (bug) but of course, we had no loot. Anyone who's managed to do this care to shed some light on it? in b4 l2p in b4 noobs in b4 trolls

Your main problem at 50 will be when people start getting epic gear and using OP stats like surge rating, and when your sniper friend crits for 5000 damage constantly (I'm not exaggerating), and literally nothing you can do besides taunt will let you keep agro without hitting the heat cap. Shield tech needs A LOT of work.

See title. This server already has a fairly bad queue, on release day it's only going to get worse. PLEASE, PLEASE, add at least ONE MORE rp-pvp server. I do not want to come home from work every evening and spend 2 hours waiting to play on this server, especially now I've had all my friends roll on it. ONE rp-pvp server is ridiculously short sighted.
